Does it work with icloud accounts as a u2f/security key? Model-T doesn’t work with icloud because of the way u2f is implemented.

I'm confused. You buy the hard wallet, then have to connect it to your computer? Doesn't that increase the risk for hackers? The seed words are visible when connected to your computer surely hackers can see them??
The device only supports certain data flows to and from it. The seed words are never visible when connected to your computer, because the device never discloses them to the computer.
Hi, Trezor is designed to keep your recovery seed backup safe even when used with an infected computer. Seed words are only displayed on the Trezor's display. They never leave the device; Trezor won't share them with the host computer.

There is obviously a portfolio screen of my holdings in the wallet correct? I plan on getting alot of P2P coming in as well as exchanges. Never used hard wallets but I hope I am about to atleast track all my crypto I have and the value of the portfolio

Hi, your product page for the Trezor Safe 3 states that it can generate 12 & 24-Word Recovery Phrases. This is the main reason I bought a Trezor Safe 3. Could you please explain how to set up the 24-Word Recovery Phrase? Thanks.
Hi Marshmillo, Trezor Safe 3 generates 12-words seed by default. However, you can recover an existing 12 or 24 words seed to it. If you are concerned about the security of 12 words seed, you don't need to worry. 12 words seed is perfectly safe. Mine is stuck at firmware validation forever 😪. Needed to restart the suite to ack the firmware installation.
Probably damaged? I've never seen anyone have issues with this.

Fix the pc then do whatever you want. Do not connect anything to a malware pc
You can use Trezor even on an infected computer, actually! However, you have to be sure you are downloading the official Trezor Suite software trezor.io/trezor-suite. More on Trezor authentication at trezor.io/learn/a/authenticate-trezor-safe-3.

@@smackatoo after research, it doesn't matter, but you can go offline after setup the seed (the backup), you don't need internet connection after that. I just suggest do everything related with trezor in safe computer without malware.
Please help! I have just received my two trezor 3. I am following instructions but firware will not fully load. Then a screen on laptop says "device detected in incorrect state"
I have tried ths reboot but nothing.

Hi, it depends on the blockchain you want to use. Trezor supports all ERC20 tokens by default, so the ERC20 token is supported. The same applies to the Solana network.

Why trezor don't use 24 word seed phrase instead of 12 word seed phrase ? Don't you think that 24 word seed phrase is more secure than 12 word seed phrase ?
Even 12 word seed phrase can't be cracked via brute force
A 12-word seed is impressively secure. It would take a staggering $2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 worth of computing power to break it. So, rest assured, your assets are well protected!

Hi, there is no need to turn off your Wifi. The private keys generated on Trezor stay offline anyway.
Regarding the connection, you don't need to be concerned about the cable. You can use Trezor with any compatible cable you have.

Trezor devices do not work in iOS. You can use it on Mac computers, though.
What's this about it generating a new address everytime? That makes zero sense. I want the address of my wallet to be the target because I want to know that the funds are going to the right place.
It's a privacy feature. Trezor Suite generates fresh addresses for each (receiving) transaction, although for Ethereum you'll need to add another ETH account. By generating a fresh address each time, you reduce the chance of exposing any sensitive personal information.
The old address remains active, though and you can keep using it!
@@TrezorWallet I don't follow.. you say the receiving adress is changed everytime, but say the old one remains active, what does this even mean. I hope to not come off as rude but this seems overly complicated and confusing, I was looking into buying on but Id prefer to always have the same address lol
It means that although it is better for your privacy to use a fresh address for each transaction, you can still use your previously generated addresses too.
@@hiro11 This isn't specific to Trezor, it is a general fact about Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies: address re-use creates security risks for technical reasons. From your seed phrase, a sequence of addresses is derived, each of which is under your control. Once an address has received funds, it is unwise to re-use it for receiving more funds. The addresses are still capable of receiving more funds, but doing this results in various security issues.

Hi! In the Buy feature you can choose from different services, as each exchange service has different offers. And as for the PIN, if your device was wiped (either you wiped it manually or it lost connection during a firmware updates, thus it wiped itself automatically for security reasons), the PIN settings were reset too. However, the whole seed was wiped from the device, so not having the PIN set does not put your coins at risk, as first you need to import your seed to the device (recover your wallet), during which you also set a new PIN.

I JUST RECIEVED MY WALLETS AND THEY ARE GREAT. BY A MISTAKE I SENT ETH FROM COINBASE TO THE ETC ADDRESS ON THE TREZOR 3 WALLET. IT DOES'NT SHOW ANYTHING ON THE ETC PART SO I WAS GOING CRAZY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE I SENT THE ETH,BUT I FIGURED IT OUT.I MATCHED THE SENT ADDRESS TO THE ETC ADDRESSON MY WALLET.HOW DO I GET IT OFF ETC AND BACK ON TO ETH?
