I've been using keystone for half a year now, and I can see that keystone has been working hard to integrate the wallet and the ecosystem. Just feel like it has so much more potential in the future.
Ledger Live is a great design but the major flaw is when you want to switch to another ledger wallet. Even clearing the storage and resetting the app (on macros) keeps showing the balance from the previously connected wallet. The second thing they are aggressive about seed backup service too much.
Tangem for me, great video, I think Tangem will be the most used cold wallet in the near future, they are just extremely user friendly and convenient, thanks again for a great video!!
I'm getting the battery charging error plus unable to connect to my Nano X cold wallet. Currently, my laptop is the only location where the Ledger Live app is installed. Can I just purchase either the Tangem or Ledger Flex wallet to transfer my cryptocurrencies since I do know the pin and the seed phrase. If so, which wallet or any other besides those two mentioned wallets would you recommend for my asset restoration? Thanks again for your advice from this crypto newbie!
I have had 2 Nanos die - if you don’t charge it every month, eg if you keep it in your safe as a cold store. Yes, you have to recover from your Seed even if you swap it for another Nano
if you use multiple wallets, does each wallet have access to all your crypto? or would it be more like a physical wallets where the wallet only holds the crypto that's transferred to it?
@Unkniwn1 So, if I have a Coinbase wallet with an 8 word code, and I use that same code when setting up a Tangem Cold Wallet, all my crypto in the Coinwallet will be attached to the Tangem wallet?
@@KingAndrew5000 Yes, both Coinbase wallet and Tangem would have access to your crypto if you imported the seed phrase from the Coinbase wallet into the Tangem. To prevent this, create a new wallet on Tangem with it's own seed phrase and transfer your crypto from the Coinbase wallet to the new Tangem wallet.
I do. But, if I bought a Trezor wallet today it would either be the Safe 3 or Safe 5. The Model One and Model T lack a secure element chip, which I prefer my wallet to have.
It protects your private key from both digital and physical brute force attacks. For example, crypto security firm Unciphered was able to extract the seed phrase and pin from the Model T because of a vulnerability in the STM32 chip (not a secure chip). That said, if it had used a secure chip, the attack wouldn’t have been possible. Just earned a subscriber. One question tho- im looking for a long term cold wallet to hold my crypto in and itll be my first time using a cold wallet. Which do you recommend?
Tangem or the Ledger flex. Both are extremely user friendly, perfect for beginners, and secure for longterm storage. Thanks for the sub! Just lmk if you have any more questions, happy to help.
Paper wallwt just means writing down your seed on a piece of paper rather than storing on a hardware device. But you still need a device to manage it, thus, most people have both.
Since the tangem comes in a two pack. Does that mean I'm able to use them as separate wallets? Can I set each of them up with different seed phrases? Or are they link together acting as one wallet regardless of seed phrase or not?
Thank you for replying to questions that were asked. Helped me from having to spend more time finding the answers. I hope this lets people know sharing their knowledge is truly appreciated!
If the keys are generated on the Tangem app than that is not so secure is it? The idea behind a hardwallet is that the keys are never on a device that is connected to the internet right?
@1320_ikimasho so what if your phone (you refer to as device) is hacked but you do not know? With a ledger the keys generated do not leave the ledger and the ledger is not connected to the internet. I don't say it is not secure but a lot less secure than a ledger as example and this is important for people to know.
Thanks so much for all your insight. I have a dumb question : is it possible to install our cryptos (through import of seed phrase) in two different wallets ? for instance, on a Tangem and on Ledger at the same time ? I doubt it but I ask :)
How long (time) a Tangem card lasts. I assume everything has a kind of power source in order for the chips to work. Same or even more applies to the ones with the battery. Can we change battery to the ones equipped with it? Ending, what is the life expectancy of any of the products you presented and what do we do next?
Tangem wallets are designed to last a minimum of 25 years. It does not use a battery as it has an NFC antenna to communicate with your phone. Most wallets that use a battery, you won’t be able to change them. And life expectancy just depends on how you treat the device. I have iPods that are nearly 20 years old that still work today. If a device does die though, your crypto is still secure. You simply import your seed phrase into a new cold wallet (doesn’t even need to be the same brand) to continue managing your funds.
I travel a lot so Tangem has always been the best for my personal situation and since I do lose things I actually have 12 Tangem cards with the ring on the way. Overkill? Maybe but I don’t wanna have it all in one wallet haha
I'm just about to start my crypto journey and the fully waterproof feature really appeals - I live on my yacht! Thanks for your videos, I feel you are helping me learn what I need to know. Cheers mate!
So, quick question, im looking into getting a cold wallet because I had an issue before when my coin skyrocketed and the exchange shut down. What wallet do you recommend for me that would like to store but can quickly sell if needed?
Ah, sorry to hear that. That’s happens too often. I recommend Tangem. It’s the most user-friendly wallet on the market, and it’s never been hacked. They’ve been in business since 2017. You just need an iOS or Android mobile device with NFC capabilities to use it. And if you are interested in Tangem, you might want to check out my Tangem wallet playlist. Hey, great video- I have to ask though, some of my crypto I see as being more long term investments, so what are the risks with these wallets in terms of longevity (i.e., not working in say ten years)? I worry the hardware wallet might burn out or die after 5-10 years and then my crypto becomes inaccessible. Can this risk be mitigated in any way?
Your crypto is not stored in the wallet the wallet simply holds your keys. So as long as you have your seed phrase, you can take that and import it into a new wallet. It doesn’t even have to be the same brand and you’ll be able to access your crypto.
I’ve always updated my OneKey using my phone. There was one time with the Pro however where I had to connect it to my computer. But that was an anomaly
If i decide to use multiple wallets, do I need to add all my crypto in each wallet or do i need to add some in one wallet and some in the second wallet? Thanks for your reply.
Yes, it’s in the description of this video or just use this one with the discount code automatically applied: tangem.com/en/pricing/?promocode=CYBERSCRILLA#pricing
I came across your website when I was searching on how to collect profits. Your explanation was very helpful. Then I heard your comments on wallets and decided I should get one, even though I don't have much CC. I am wondering what your opinion of Exodus wallet is. Please share.
I got the Trezor because it connects directly to my wallet. But once I get more crypto I'll probably move that off to Keystone. I do like how that looks.
I’m looking to start off with the Tangem, but I really want the coldcard q. I would need to enable the seed option when setting up the card and then use that same seed phrase when I get the coldcard?
I think I know the answer to this question but going to ask to make sure. Your crypto still fluctuates w the market while in cold wallet storage correct?
You buy a coin, you will own the coin. If in the near/far future you decide to sell the coin for some other currency, the value of your coin is determined by the market
Awesome bundle of valuable information in perusing your videos for the past 2hours. Download complete! I ordered 1 Tangen wallet 2 weeks ago and ordering 3 more today. I feel much more confident in moving forward into Crypto World. Much appreciated! Great work!
Please make a video how to stake our crypto using hardware wallet without any risk also how to trade using hardware wallet without any risk please share some methods
May I ask what kind of features it lacks? I would like to know I just ordered Tangem after watching your videos. I’m pretty sold on it. I’m just curious what functionality for a bitcoin it does not have. Thank you.
If you're looking for a hardware wallet that's for storing Bitcoin only I've heard that the block stream jade and the cold card wallet are good options if you're willing to consider them.
Im leaning towards trezor 5 but scrolling their site it says it’s strictly for bitcoin or is that an option for the buyer to chose? I’m interested in storing different coins other than bitcoin. Am I good to pick trezor 5
He isn't going to knock one or the other being an affiliate with the company. He makes money eother one you buy(through the link). Listen to the pros/cons of both and decide which is more comfortable/compatible/secure. I'm a newbie and going with Tangem because I will probably be moving plenty of money. Than I may go vault/keystone later. I may end up with trezor if I get a laptop purely for crypto. Those are my 3 picks.
Personally the safepal is entirely plastic and I tend to accidently destroy electronics sometimes. (I ran over my own phone at work recently) so durable and secure are the big two, having easy access is also important to me so Tangem to start.
@@MistaChipz I'm a relatively experienced crypto person I've had a safe power for a very long time I also have a keystone and an ellipad I prefer the safe pal s1 the most because it's super easy to use and it's very secure but I definitely understand why you would want one that's a little bit more durable
@@michaelrice6137 Yes, but you’ll need 2 packs of cards. This video shows how you can manage multiple wallets on the Tangem app: ruclips.net/video/kpNIsIIZPC4/видео.html
For the tangem wallet, say I have 3 cards paired up to the wallet ... Is it possible to remove all of them and place new ones onto the app in case of getting lost/stolen/broken/damage???
Hey Man! Keen to know why didn't you consider the 'Cypherock X1', any problems in particular?. I believe it has the best security compared to any other hardware wallet, although lacks the user friendliness.
I have numerous hardware wallets and absolutely love my Tangem cards. I'm able to carry some crypto with me, although I don't keep a lot on the card, and I'm not really carrying a "device." It's also nearly indestructible. If something happens to my primary card, it's no big deal because I have two backups and my 24-word seed phrase. Plus, other than my SafePal X-1 it was the least expensive wallet I've ever purchased. I also love my X-1. It's very small, was very inexpensive and it does everything I need a wallet to do. The software for both is very good, too.
@@timg7954 Ultimately very similar devices. Stax offers the larger, organic EINK touchscreen, wireless charging, and a magnetic protective case. The flex doesn’t (and the case is sold separately). For the price, I’d probably go with the Flex myself. They’re equally as secure.
@@cyberscrillathanks so much for the reply! I will probably get a case so that brings the price closer. I currently use a nano x - have tried to switch to several other wallets including a keystone two and a keystone three but I always go back to ledger because they’re usability is so good with Ledger Live. Thanks so much for your response. It is appreciated.
Thank you for the informative video. For tangem wallet If I use seed phrases, I will buy two card packages, and if I do not, I should buy the three packages. Did I understand that correctly?
Really depends. If you don't access your crypto much and you're just going to leave your wallet in a safe somewhere (and you only store BTC), coldcard is fine. But if you're actively trading coins, something like Tangem would be better. Or even Trezor is a solid option for just BTC.
Nice, thanks bro. Tangem looks sweet, hope they add a hidden wallet feature sometime but otherwise great & handly like you say on the go. Keep up the gd work 🫡
Tangem is great. And it already supports creating and importing a hidden wallet (aka passphrase). Here’s a video on how to do it: ruclips.net/video/NnZOEXbFovk/видео.htmlsi=WpXXUXa1hU4j-6PD
Is there a way to monitor your coins performance when the coins are on a cold wallet? Like an app that can give you updated info about your portfolio without having to connect your wallet to the internet? Sort of like when you look at the coins when they are on the coinbase exchange.
When buying these cold wallets do you generate a wallet with a new seed phrase for each or can you import a soft wallet seed phrase? Does it matter? My concern is that you can’t transfer ALL your coins to zero out the soft wallet. XRP requires 10 dot 1 etc to be left in soft wallet.
@ and the cold wallet seed phrase can be used on multiple called wallets? (I’m new to all this). Like if I buy Ledger and Tangem, set up Ledger, write down seed phrase, can I use the same seed phrase when setting up Tangem to access all my tokens? And how do I take out left over tokens from soft wallet, or they just sit there inaccessible (10 XRP, 1XML, 1DOt, etc). My soft wallet doesn’t let me send them. Thank you 😊
@@Cheese-Head Yes, you can import your seed phrase into basically any brand wallet to recover your crypto. But if a wallet doesn’t support all the same coins, you might be missing some (they’re still attached to your seed phrase) you just wouldn’t be able to see them-so it’s always worth checking coin support for each wallet. There's no limit to how much crypto you can store on a Tangem wallet, and it supports thousands of different cryptocurrencies. To set up a Tangem wallet, you need at least 2 cards. So if you want to create separate wallets (each with its own seed phrase), you'll need a minimum of 4 cards, which would allow you to set up two wallets.
I used to be strictly Ledger. Little by little though, they've broken my trust. I'm not going to lose tens of thousands of dollars because of them. Trezor is much better.
My only question Can the seed phrase leave the wallet? I believe it can. They were marketing to people who wanted Ledger to be responsible for their seed phrase. Am I wrong ? Cuz Ledger lied about that.
Regarding keystone pro, if someone gets ahold of your seed phrase, not the device .....can they take your crypto by using the seed phrase to set up a new device wallet ? Thanks🤙
The seed phrase is the wallet. Hardware devices like Keystone is simply a method for storing the seed phrase. So yes, if someone gets your seed phrase, they can access your crypto from basically any software or hardware wallet.
@@cyberscrilla Thanks for that can the keystone pro be reset 🤔.... so a new seed phrase can be generated?....... The reason for this is i left one of my cards with the seed phrase on it in an old safe 🤦♀️( stupid i know ) most crypto is off it 👌 so i want to be able to use my keystone still, however have no tie's to the old seed phrase ....hope that makes sense im very new to the crytpo space however learning at a rapid pace lol and especially from my mistakes 👍
Really depends. Trezor is great. I love it. But it’s mainly a desktop wallet and they don’t have batteries (not a bad thing) just something to consider. Also, will have less coin support than ledger. Ledger is also great and works with both desktop and mobile devices. Uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery and has more coin support. IMO, you can’t go wrong with either one.
@@cyberscrilla yo! thanks for getting back to me. I actually did eventually come to a conclusion, and your insight did prove helpful. I'm going to re-start my crypto investment journey by get a Trezor Safe 3 (it's not only cheaper, I'll probably ever use it once or twice a month) bitcoin only version. I get that only "real" difference is the firmware, all hardware stuff (as I've learned) are the same. And by going BTC only means I'll only focus on BTC. No shit coins, or meme coins, yeah... I'll miss out on ETH, SOL and maybe SUI, but ehh... I'm just starting, I can always get another wallet down the line. But yeah, thanks again!
in terms of security, given the recent articles on the possibility to hack cold wallet via malicious firmware update, I guess Tangem is the one which is theoritically the hardest to hack as we don't have firmware to update on the card itself, right?
Nope, Tangem is the most vulnerable wallet since it has not any screen connected to the secure element. If your phone is compromised, your tangem too. (in contrary to ledger, trezor..., where you can check transactions on their screen)
@@stanislaspaquin3665 Nope... If your phone is compromised... they can't access your Funds... Your funds are on the blockchain.. not in your tangem app on your phone... You can access your funds using any mobile phone...
Any reputable wallet has measures in place to prevent a firmware update from comprising the device. But you’re right to say Tangem’s firmware is non-updateable by design for increased security. Plus it uses an EAL6+ secure element chip which prevent malicious attacks as well.
How is Tangem the most vulnerable if it has been confirmed to have no vulnerabilities by security experts and has never been hacked? While wallets like Trezor Model T (which has a screen) was hacked for its seed and PIN. Don’t fall for the FUD. Always do your own research before spreading misinformation. Tangem is exceptional. Source that Trezor Model T was hacked: www.coindesk.com/tech/2023/05/24/crypto-security-firm-unciphered-claims-ability-to-physically-hack-trezor-t-wallet/amp/
@@cyberscrilla Tangem feels secure because you aren't thinking about the basic security features it lacks. Mainly, no screen. A screen is very important for a hardware wallet. If your device gets malware, that malware could change the address that gets sent to the HW after you enter it. You would have no way of knowing that the destination address of the transaction is actually the one you want to send to. On other HWs, the wallet itself has a screen showing the destination address for a transaction. So if my phone gets loaded with malware, it could send a different address to be signed by my HW, not the one I entered. But then, when I go to confirm my transaction on my HW, I compare the address on it with the one I entered to make sure they match. I always know where my BTC is going. Now, the chances of this happening aren't super high. We are probably safe. But personally, I'm using a wallet that allows me to confirm stuff like this. It's a basic feature that has been in HWs for years, so I don't understand the lack of it.
For what reason? If you’re after diversification, use two separate seed phrases. Two separate hardware devices with the same seed is not diversification.
@@cyberscrilla Hi. Unfortunately, due to the war in Ukraine, I’ve lost everything-my home, my family-and am now in a very difficult situation. If you have the ability to help, any amount would be a lifesaver for me. Thank you (BTC) 1GHwxy34yrSAGNjiLb5nUy8ccbcBpvhhJ2 DEAR COMMUNITY PLEASE 🥺🙏♥
So lets say I go with the Tangem wallet. You mentioned that you can buy and sell crypto from the app correct. So I would be able to sell the crypto I transferred into the wallet, any amout without transferring it back to an exchange, or do you have to transfer it back to an exchange?
It depends on the crypto. Not all coins/tokens are supported for buyin/selling directly in the Tangem app. Many of the popular coins are though (BTC, ETH, SOL, etc). Worse case, you simply send back to the exchange to sell. I use both methods.
You can manage multiple Tangem wallets in one app, yes. However, it’s important to note you need at least 2 cards to setup 1 wallet. So if you want to manage say 2 wallets at the same time, you’ll need at least 4 cards. Hi! I was wondering if Tangem natively supports the ISO 20022 coins (XRP, XLM, HBAR, QNT, ADA, etc) or do I need an external wallet? Thank you! I love your content, it's huge help
Both good wallets. Nano S Plus if you don’t mind being limited to using it with your computer (it doesn’t have a battery or Bluetooth so it has to be plugged into desktop) or Nano X if you’d prefer the option to use with either desktop/mobile and like a battery
🎉thank you so much for your prompt response. I have a trezor model t now and love it but it’s limited on the coins it supports natively. I don’t mind desktop but want the flexibility
I am just super concerned about losing/damaging the hardware while travelling. I like the idea of Tangem as for example with 3 cards, I could take 1 with me and keep the other 2 in 2 separate safe locations. My doubts is: let's say I buy two: Tangem and Trezor and they are 2 separate wallets, this way I have maybe like 20% of my funds in Tangem and I operate and travel with this, and the other 80% kept in Trezor for long-term holding. Can I be trasnfering from Trezor to Tangem as I need the funds? And to do this, I would need to physically carry both wallets with me? Equivalent to banks: I have my main bank account but I use Revolut/Wise as a Top-Up card for traveling around, and I trasnfer there from my main bank as I need the money. I only need the apps for this, I don't need the physical card of my bank (this would be Trezor).I hope my question makes sense. I am confused about what is the best for moving around and what is the best for long-term holding.
Great questions! A couple things: 1. Even if you lose or damage your hardware wallet, no worries. Crypto isn’t stored on the device, it remains on the blockchain indefinitely. So as long as you have your seed phrase, you can always access your crypto using virtually any brand cold wallets. 2. I travel fairly often (including internationally) and Tangem is by far the best for this. Discreet, waterproof, immune to x ray machines, EMPs, etc. plus you don’t need to charge it. Just need your phone. 3. Like you said, you could have one “at-home” longterm wallet, but you’d need the physical device to send crypto from it. So if you do travel a lot, maybe consider brining both devices (but leave the seed phrases at home) that way even if you lose or damage your wallets, you will still be able to access them at home once you get a new device to import the phrase into.
@@cyberscrilla yes, ok, thanks. It certainly does have its quirks but as long as it's considered safe, I'll continue using it. I just subscribed to your channel. I appreciate the good info.
But it doesn’t. It’s only displayed so you can record it. It’s not stored on the phone or the app like with a hot wallet. 2 million sold and not a single one hacked. The data speaks for itself
I would say that the Trezor 3 is sufficient for most users. The Trezor 5’s main advantage is its greater convenience, which might make it a better choice if you plan to make transactions frequently.
@Scapcz hey thank you for the reply, im like conpletely new here from where do i buy xrp? I tried coinbase but it said they removed it.. idk why but oke and lookibg to invest some coinage into crypto but ehh feel lost is there anyone that is like a guide for this that isnt a scammer?
@NotonOurWatch wouldn’t use it myself, so I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s 100% closed source. So nothing they claim can be verified. That said, you’ll see many RUclipsrs talk about it because they pay $50 everytime you mention them in a video.
You need at least 2 cards to setup a wallet (max 3 cards per wallet). So if you want to have two separate wallets with their own seed phrase, buy 2 two packs.
@@cyberscrilla but arent you more at risk of being hacked if your seed phrase is shown online? Im new to cold wallets. Thats the only part i dont get with tangem.
It’s not shown online. It’s displayed in a secure environment (the Tangem app). Also, if your phone were hacked, temporarily disconnecting the internet won’t do anything for you. The real concern is storing your seed phrase online (like a hot wallet does). That’s when you’re most vulnerable to being hacked. Tangem doesn’t store your seed phrase anywhere. It’s only displayed long enough for you to record it, then it’s erased from the app.
You can, but it will be more expensive (no 10% discount on Amazon). As for safety, it’s “possible” you receive a fake wallet-but unlikely. But even if you receive a fake card, it wouldn’t work in the app as the app verifies you’re using an authentic Tangem wallet. The only other concern is the possibility of receiving a card that has already been setup so the person who sold it to you knows your seed phrase If you did receive one that’s already set up, you could just factory reset it and you’d be good to go. All that to say, I never recommend buying hardware wallets on any third party websites unless you have no other choice.

@Unkniwn1 So, if I have a Coinbase wallet with an 8 word code, and I use that same code when setting up a Tangem Cold Wallet, all my crypto in the Coinwallet will be attached to the Tangem wallet?
@KingAndrew5000 if you transfer it to Tangem, it won't be on Coinbase.
Keystone seems to be the best among all the brands. I really like their strict attitude towards open-source and security.
Every wallet has its pros and cons. Keystone has cool security features, but the UI is only okay imo.
so keystone 3 pro and ledger flex, which one would you recommend?
@@etabxkaeja Ledger Flex. Way more user-friendly, and extremely secure.
He said Ledger Flex in the video, did you watch it?
Do you like the Trezor Model T?
I do. But, if I bought a Trezor wallet today it would either be the Safe 3 or Safe 5.
The Model One and Model T lack a secure element chip, which I prefer my wallet to have.
@@cyberscrilla What does the chip do?
It protects your private key from both digital and physical brute force attacks.
For example, crypto security firm Unciphered was able to extract the seed phrase and pin from the Model T because of a vulnerability in the STM32 chip (not a secure chip).
That said, if it had used a secure chip, the attack wouldn’t have been possible.

What is a paper wallet? How does that work with a hit one? Ty sir 🙏
No. They are linked together as one wallet. You need a minimum of 2 cards to setup one wallet, maximum of 3
Thank you for replying to questions that were asked. Helped me from having to spend more time finding the answers. I hope this lets people know sharing their knowledge is truly appreciated!
If the keys are generated on the Tangem app than that is not so secure is it? The idea behind a hardwallet is that the keys are never on a device that is connected to the internet right?
The keys show up on your device; they aren't broadcast on the internet.
Yes. You are correct. Your seed phrase can be imported into as many wallets as you want, even at the same time.
@@cyberscrilla perfect! Many thanks !
So with Tangem I can have seed phrase + multiple cards for backup

Hey, great video- I have to ask though, some of my crypto I see as being more long term investments, so what are the risks with these wallets in terms of longevity (i.e., not working in say ten years)? I worry the hardware wallet might burn out or die after 5-10 years and then my crypto becomes inaccessible. Can this risk be mitigated in any way?
Your crypto is not stored in the wallet the wallet simply holds your keys. So as long as you have your seed phrase, you can take that and import it into a new wallet. It doesn’t even have to be the same brand and you’ll be able to access your crypto.

Both Trezor and Ledger are great for BTC. Both are secure as well. So you can’t go wrong with either.
Tangem lacks a lot of features for BTC though.
May I ask what kind of features it lacks? I would like to know I just ordered Tangem after watching your videos. I’m pretty sold on it. I’m just curious what functionality for a bitcoin it does not have. Thank you.

It's also nearly indestructible. Is there a way to monitor your coins performance when the coins are on a cold wallet? Like an app that can give you updated info about your portfolio without having to connect your wallet to the internet? Sort of like when you look at the coins when they are on the coinbase exchange.
Yes, DeBank tracks everithing.
It would be pointless to import your hot wallet seed phrase as the seed is still hot. Best to create a new seed phrase, and transfer crypto to it
@ and the cold wallet seed phrase can be used on multiple called wallets? (I’m new to all this). Like if I buy Ledger and Tangem, set up Ledger, write down seed phrase, can I use the same seed phrase when setting up Tangem to access all my tokens? And how do I take out left over tokens from soft wallet, or they just sit there inaccessible (10 XRP, 1XML, 1DOt, etc). My soft wallet doesn’t let me send them. Thank you 😊
@@Cheese-Head Yes, you can import your seed phrase into basically any brand wallet to recover your crypto. with Tangem, if you buy 3 cards, can you hold different kind crypto on each card, or do all of them only work with one account?
There's no limit to how much crypto you can store on a Tangem wallet, and it supports thousands of different cryptocurrencies.
To set up a Tangem wallet, you need at least 2 cards.
So if you want to create separate wallets (each with its own seed phrase), you'll need a minimum of 4 cards, which would allow you to set up two wallets.
I used to be strictly Ledger. Little by little though, they've broken my trust. I'm not going to lose tens of thousands of dollars because of them. Trezor is much better.
Ledger is safe. There was so much misinformation spread about them though, and since no one does their own research, the FUD continues

Trezor is great. I love it. But it’s mainly a desktop wallet and they don’t have batteries (not a bad thing) just something to consider. Also, will have less coin support than ledger.
Ledger is also great and works with both desktop and mobile devices. Uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery and has more coin support.

in terms of security, given the recent articles on the possibility to hack cold wallet via malicious firmware update, I guess Tangem is the one which is theoritically the hardest to hack as we don't have firmware to update on the card itself, right?

Does the keystone 3 pro support dogecoin and Shiba

A couple things:

Question on the Tangem card: what if it’s carried in a phone case wallet rather than a separate wallet ? Will it constantly trigger the app? Thanks
No, I don’t think so. You need to hold it very close to your phone in the correct position. You should be good.
Great video! Cheers 👏
Keystone 3 Pro FTW I reckon! 💪
Thanks for watching! Cheers
Me since using the Cosmos, Ether ecosystems I find the Ledger is compatible with both the ecosystems
Will i be able to buy and sell with the tangem in NYC ? Bc out here so far we can only use coinbase to buy crypto
There's a bunch of different wallets you can use, not just CB.
I bet you you have a dedicated cellphone only for crypto whit old style touch ID , i do the same but whit face id
This but I was looking at laptops specifically the ones by Purism. But that will come with time. I won't have 1000's in crypto that fast
What about Coldcard and ColdcardQ?
Sure, if you only plan to store bitcoin. I hold more than BTC, so I dont use BTC only wallets
Does tangem work on iPhone 12 or 15
Yes. I have both iPhone 12 and 15 Pro and it works on both.
As with Tangem my seed phrase would be displayed on my phone it would render a hardware wallet obsolete imo.
But it doesn’t. It’s only displayed so you can record it. It’s not stored on the phone or the app like with a hot wallet.
2 million sold and not a single one hacked.
The data speaks for itself
Im trying to buy xrp and wich is better trezor 3 or 5 or the ledger flex?
I would say that the Trezor 3 is sufficient for most users. The Trezor 5’s main advantage is its greater convenience, which might make it a better choice if you plan to make transactions frequently.
@Scapcz hey thank you for the reply, im like conpletely new here from where do i buy xrp? I tried coinbase but it said they removed it.. idk why but oke and lookibg to invest some coinage into crypto but ehh feel lost is there anyone that is like a guide for this that isnt a scammer?
What do you think about decent wallet
@NotonOurWatch wouldn’t use it myself, so I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s 100% closed source. So nothing they claim can be verified.
That said, you’ll see many RUclipsrs talk about it because they pay $50 everytime you mention them in a video.
@@cyberscrilla oh wow.Thanl ypu
If I buy 3 a Tangem 3-pack, are they all automatically tied to themselves/me or can I give one of them to somebody else?
You need at least 2 cards to setup a wallet (max 3 cards per wallet).
So if you want to have two separate wallets with their own seed phrase, buy 2 two packs.
@@cyberscrillacan you get your seed phrase from tangem while your phone is in airplane mode and wifi turned off?
No. There’s no benefit to doing that.
Can i Buy tangem through Amazon? Any safety issue?
You can, but it will be more expensive (no 10% discount on Amazon).
As for safety, it’s “possible” you receive a fake wallet-but unlikely.
But even if you receive a fake card, it wouldn’t work in the app as the app verifies you’re using an authentic Tangem wallet.
The only other concern is the possibility of receiving a card that has already been setup so the person who sold it to you knows your seed phrase
If you did receive one that’s already set up, you could just factory reset it and you’d be good to go.
All that to say, I never recommend buying hardware wallets on any third party websites unless you have no other choice.
