- Contact tmosso@thewatchbox.com for pricing and availability; Either I have it, or I can get it! Wake up with watches and host Tim Mosso on RUclips’s ultimate luxury watch morning show! Rolex watches in three forms grace tonight’s table, and high-end options from Patek Philippe and A Lange & Sohne share space with accessible sports watches from Omega, Sinn Spezialuhren, and Oris. Watch collectors, luxury watch buyers, and watch enthusiasts will find an option to suit every taste on today’s show.
Rolex always dominates the discussion of watches, but tonight’s array cuts to highlights of recent collector attention: Milgauss “Z-Blue” and the green GMT Master II “Black” Bezel. Tim has a longstanding interest in the wildest of Milgauss models, and the blue/orange/green ocular assault of the Z Blue Milgauss finally appears to be gaining attention from mainstream Rolex collectors. The “Green GMT Hand” GMT-Master, in contrast, has become a hot model only since its discontinuation at the beginning of the 2019 model year.
Patek Philippe’s Nautilus is the watch of our moment, but it is seen only rarely as an annual calendar on a rubber Patek Philippe factory strap option. This sporty and versatile 5726A is a universal watch with sizing to please watch enthusiasts of all wrist sizes. While the Nautilus is a clear-cut sports watch, the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time sits somewhere between a true sports timepiece and a traditional Calatrava dress watch. This rose gold model tilts the character of the model further towards “dress watch” elegance with its red gold case and sunburst bronze metallic gradient dial.
Omega Seamaster and Speedmaster models cut an impressive presence in today’s lineup. The 2017 Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Speedy Tuesday (Tribute to Project Alaska III) is a 2,012-piece limited edition Speedmaster Professional with Moonwatch caliber 1861, a dial designed to honor the 1970s “Project Alaska III” built for NASA, and a caseback dedicated to the online journal, “Fratello Watches’,” “Speedy Tuesday” weekly Speedmaster model feature. Two Omega Seamaster water resistant watches are on the table. The 2018 70th anniversary of the Omega Seamaster model was marked by the issuance of two vintage tribute Seamaster 1948 models, and the CK2577 center-seconds tribute is part of our feature. For devotees of modern Seamaster dive watches, the caliber 8500-powered Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean 600M with orange bezel, full bracelet, and stainless steel case satisfies the desire for a true ISO 6425-compliant diving watch.
High horology from unconventional watch brands arrives in the form of complications from Bulgari, Parmigiani Fleurier, and Maitres Du Temps. The last is a low volume brand that combines master watchmakers with the resources to create collaborative efforts; the Chapter Two complete calendar is an overpowering white gold tonneau watch for enthusiasts with wrists of exceptional span. In contrast, the Parmigiani Kalpa XL Hebdomidaire is an agreeable fit on any wrist thanks to its teardrop-shaped modular lugs; a Parmigiani caliber PF 110 provides an impressive 8-day power reserve and impeccable hand finished details.
Bulgari watchmaking pegs the meter with the 2019 Octo Roma Tourbillon Sapphire, a 44mm combination of sapphire and sandblasted rose gold case elements. Its impressive form contains a Bulgari caliber BVL 206 manual wind movement with a 64-hour power reserve, a multifunction crown system for setting and winding, and a flying tourbillon atop an openworked movement architecture.

The Patek calatrava pilot always makes me say: "Cool Zenith bruh..."
God is in the details. That one plays better in person, but I still like the white gold model better than the rose gold second act.
Best,
Tim
Love the new segment. No guests, no rants, no shout outs just 45 mins of great watches.
A wonderful array of outstanding timepieces presented by the master.
Wow that JLC. My first introduction to the duometre was with the partially skeletonized dial that looks like a smiley face. I couldn’t unsee it. But this example makes me love it
Amazing reviews & so knowledgeable & you speak so fluently. No umm,s, no ahhs. This guys is one of the best youtubers period.
Thank you, Greg! While I focus on getting my facts straight, I strive to offer a clear and fluid delivery.

I love the shout-out for Andrew! He's our new guy, and he's already an ace for these close-hauled watch shots.

Tim
Congratulations on 70,000 subscribers!!!
It feels great to hit that number so much sooner than I did with Watchbox Studios. We have an outside chance of doubling the channel's size from the start of the year to the end.
Best,
Tim
Watches, coffee & Tim perfect way to start the day 🤗
I love it! That's how every day should start.
Best,
Tim
Great show Tim another interesting blend of compositions an brands from the best. Z blue is always a knock out to behold on video camera. Hope MRI is not for you. Safe cycling Thank you sir.
No more MRIs for me! Thanks for watching and for sharing my Z-blue love.

Tim
WOW! The JLC Reverso grande sport. .thanks TIM!
Hey Tim great show! It’s nice to wake up to watches as I get ready for the day. Hope this frees you up for other things. Love the Patek Pilot and was surprised by the Oris. Keep up the good work!
I didn't want to break faith with my live audience, but this time slot works better for everyone. The viewership has almost doubled since I moved the time slot. Thank you for supporting my work!
Best,
Tim
Great show Tim. Still miss the live show on a tuesday night and the banter, but as always the watches are still the star!
Thanks for understanding, Russell. I still give my all and strive to keep the quality as high as ever. You're going to love this Sunday's morning show.
Best,
Tim
This new morning show is a pleasant surprise on a hump day. Cheers Tim + the team
I like that -- boost over the hump to ease us towards the weekend.
Best,
Tim
Once again, some great horology for breakfast as only you can do Tim! My favs were the JLC, the A Lange & Sohne and that Sinn hunters watch (never expected to see one of those). Keep it coming! Hope your morning ride was as rewarding for you as this show was for us.
I share your love for the Lange and the Sinn hunter. That Sinn 3006 might become my second Sinn when I get back into the collecting game.
Best,
Tim
Tim was as always, a horological linguistic poet - Also, this show in particular had some truly amazing watches !
thanks Tim fab as usual!
Thank you for supporting my work, Steve!

Good morning from the west coast of Canada , it's six in the morning , Love that Omega Railmaster !
Isn't that sharp? Thanks for joining me from our norther neighbor!
Best,
Tim
Great job Tim!
Thank you, Craig! Presenting these watches amounts to the highlight of my week. I still love the subject matter.
Best,
Tim
That Oris is better than I thought. Patek Pilot is such a grower. 5960 very very good. JLC fantastic. Jumping Seconds is the winner however!
The Lange and the Oris likely were my favorite watches from the show. That Richard Lange is a dream watch by any standards and a real "sleeper" for its deceptively simple appearance.
Best,
Tim
Loving the vc....can you tell me how the cases feel diferent on the wrist between the sinn ezm1.1 and ezm10 please? I have 20cm wrist
The weight of the two Sinn EZMs is similar, but the titanium EZM 10 is far larger. Here is my video review of the EZM 10 so that you can compare the fit firsthand: ruclips.net/video/at80yOut2IE/видео.html

Tim
Great show Tim.
The Duometre Quantieme Lunaire Grand Feu Enamel is to die for! :)
Best,

Isn't that thing just dead sexy? Every time I see that dial, I think that it can't get any better... and then I turn it over...
Best,
Tim
Another fantastic show Tim! Loving the new format. That Bvlgari is out of the world! 🌎. Keep up the great work! 😎
Isn't that Octo special? There's an epic black/lime green initial version of this from 2017 that must be seen if you liked this year's Cartier Santos Noctambule.
Best,
Tim
We’ve missed you, Tim!
I'm back, and I'll be paying close attention to these comments in order to stay in touch. I'm not longer streaming live, but I'm not dead by any means!
Best,
Tim
We need more rectangular watches!
I'll comply! We have an epic Reverso in the pipeline for the Sunday version of this show.
Best,
Tim
WatchBox Reviews thanks my man!!
What's the name of this watch @ 23:50?
Great show T Bone. Thanks.
Rest assured, the Sunday show will be the main event for the week... stay tuned!
Best,
Tim
WatchBox Reviews - we work on Sunday in Dubai T. They are my weekday watches 😆
Can somebody explain the PP home/local indicator.
When the home indicator is blue, then the zone where you are not (i.e., home) is during the night hours. The local time zone is the place where you are right now, and it drives the date on the dial. The watch features 12-hour hands for the two time zones, so some kind of day/night indicator is necessary to distinguish between 8am and 8pm. That's what the home/local indicators clarify.
Best,
Tim
What's the name of the watch @ 28:02?
Good to see your AC is fixed! That Bvlgari is very special ... love all that color!
The Bulgari was stunning with the combo of blue and gold, but the highlight was the purity and simplicity of the drive train.
God I love that Oris. I'm always debating between that Big Crown on the bracelet and the 39.5 mm Aquis with the green dial and bezel.
I love me some dive bezel, and that 39.5mm Aquis is close to perfect in green. That would be my choice. Also consider the 2018 Big Crown ProPilot Pointer Date 80th Anniversary in bronze if you like green dials.
Best,
Tim
Hello sir, great videos, can u tell me about a very undervalued and quite rare watch gold Rolex Gmt 16718 in my opinion. how collectable do u think it will be in the future? please bring it up on next Q&A, thanks
It's a desirable watch, to be sure. This timepiece is more collectable when on a Jubilee bracelet with an original chronometer/warranty certificate to prove that the bracelet was "born" with the watch. And as with all vintage Rolex, chasing the example with the best condition, originality, and, if possible, complete accessory set will ensure maximum value for the collector.
Best,
Tim
This is one rich breakfast your serving up Tim , good stuff !
Many courses -- all food for thought!
Best,
Tim
World class presenter providing top quality content. Well done sir.
Love ur show
Thank you for this kind feedback Arindam!
Best,
Tim
My pick is Parmigiani Fleurier Kalpa, not to everyone’s taste, but it’s could be trendy in the future.
Nice: a bold pick. Everyone loves Rolex, Omega, and Patek, but the Parmigiani is for hardcore watch guys. And with the lilac dial, add me to the fan club.
Best,
Tim
Hi Tim. Could you please start including weight in grams for watches? I flipped many watches primarily due to weight discomfort on the wrist.
Sounds like you need to hit the gym nancy.
We All miss the chat Box.
I miss it, too. But I am getting dramatically more views in this time slot. I'll try to stay engaged and responsive in these comments threads in order to stay in touch.
Best,
Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews why not just do the live show at this time? How do you know the higher view count is just because it's not live, as they interact differently in the subscription box, some people may be less likely to click on s live show at a set time
I used to get 10,000 views in a week from the live show -- live viewers included. Now I get that overnight. 6pm was the worst possible time to post something on RUclips, and I stuck with that live slot for two years out of loyalty to the audience that I'd built. It was hard to give that up, but my employers need returns on their investment, and this is the best way for me to provide it.
Best,
Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Tim can you just do the new time slots live?
That Vacheron chrono makes for a good stand in for a Patek 5070 at less than half the price...
I would opt for the Vacheron in a second over a Patek 5070G. Now, the yellow gold or platinum 5070 would be hard to deny. For that I'd need to bring in the 2013 two-tone dial version of this VC to up the ante.
Best,
Tim
Hi everyone! awesome timepieces line up. That Oris & VC is hot!!!!!!!
Hi Alvin, we agree. That Orit is an outstanding value, and the Vacheron is an overlooked gem. It would cost 70-100% more as a Patek Philippe 5070G.
Best,
Tim
We all want to see the next watch Tim M buys for his current line of collection...
That PF with the lilac dial - wow, how cool! That reminds me of my aunt’s kitchen - purple. I think they should have gone with a dark purple strap.
A dark purple strap on that watch would complete it. If I were to buy that model, I'd have that purple strap custom cut by ABP over in Paris.
Best,
Tim
WatchBox Reviews great minds think alike Tim! UN made a purple dial version of the Michelangelo. I thought it was amazing!
The platinum AP next to the Metres Du Temp a cosmic singularity combination.
Supermassive, and not even light could escape...
Best,
Tim
Speedy Tuesday... Made the video
Fun fact: Hodinkee tested the Milgauss and a railmaster with a 4000 gauss magnet to no ill effect. Quatre-milgauss doesn’t have the same ring to it
Tim can you maybe do a Vs video of say the top 5 bracelets?
I promise, this is coming. Certain watches need to be in stock simultaneously for this to happen.
Best,
Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Cool, good man!
@@the1916companywatchreviews Tim we are all waiting, come on, we need your expert opinion :)
Tim, why is the Rolex Milgauss slightly more expensive than the Explorer II which offers date and 24 hour hand complications and Paraflex shock absorbers vs a Faraday case and nicer bracelet as the only obvious special features of the Milgauss? Many thanks and greetings from London!
I suspect that economies of scale favor the Explorer 2 over the Milgauss, but another reason likely is the higher level of finish on the Milgauss' case and bracelet. Little things like dials, cases, bracelets, and even the Milgauss' more complex internal construction factor into the pricing.
Best,
Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Thank you very much, Tim.
I assumed model 3006 was a nod to the 30-06 caliber rifle round.
Or even the Dandong/Peacock 3006, a Chinese version of the ETA 2824 with a small-seconds elaboration!
Best,
Tim
Patek 5960 is my favorite on the table
I love the Patek Philippe Nautilus. Such a beautiful watch. But don't have the dough to cough up 90k USD. 😁
Yeah, I'd pass until prices come back to reality. I can see the 5711 trading at 40-50K in a year's time if macroeconomics runs its course. Simple deflation of interest among collectors might be enough to knock 10-30K off the preowned value even if global economies don't stumble.
Best,
Tim
Thanks for highlighting the Sinn Hunters Chrono Tim! Too thick for me but it’s a really unique piece.
I came very close to buying that Sinn! The fit and feel of the EZM 1.1 make my choice easier in the end, but the Hunter's Chrono is a watch that I continue to love and desire deeply... if only I had the wrist for it!
Best,
Tim
Love my PP 5726 but I have mine on a black Rubber B strap. I had the exact JLC reverso sports model; I traded the watch because the watch did not keep good time. That poor JLC experience has made me hesitant to take another look at the brand.
Did you send it to JLC for a service first? JLC movements vary greatly depending on size and vintage, but they always run best when freshly serviced.
Best,
Tim
WatchBox Reviews No, I didn’t send it back. I did get the JLC new but at a 50% discount as when I traded it in, I got a good trade in value.
Tom is slowly selling me on deadbeat seconds, just by exposure.
Thanks for the shout out for my beloved Snowflake.
Naturally: I'm a huge Snowflake fan.
Best,
Tim
3 people accidentally hit the thumbs down
I get the last laugh, because they gave me three views!
Best,
Tim
Weird that Omega is the "inverse" of Rolex and vice versa. People love the brand Omega, but not so much individual watches. For Rolex, people hate the brand, but love the watches.
That Oris is amazing. Glorious for the pre owned price!
Wow did not realize that there was an Omega PO 8500 that came on an aluminum bezel. Learn something new every time.
Thank you for supporting my work on RUclips, George!
Best,
Tim
This sucks without the chat! Maybe not it’s still great
Thanks for sticking with me, JCB. The viewership has soared since moving the time slot, so I'm reluctantly keeping the Wednesday morning schedule. I, too, miss the live chats, but I'm trying to be as responsive as possible in the comment threads in order to compensate.
Best,
Tim
Not going anywhere mate. Glad the viewership is going up. That Lange ooohh
Hello Everyone, it looks like I'm first to the party!
Welcome, Anthony. Thank you for being quick to the draw!
