Blower runs constantly - two different calls - two different reasons.

- On these two calls, both had the blower running constantly, one had a stick sequencer, and another had a faulty control board. #hvac #hvaclife #fieldpiece #ruud #makita #sequencer #blowercontrolboard
Nice to see a little extra care taken on a system that looks like it has had a rough and neglected life. Good job 👍
What a difference in repairs. One is real simple versus needing a board. That air handler looked so basic I can't believe you need a board for this stuff. Thanks for showing old school versus new tech fixes.
When I come across capacitors in boxes I always fix and a schematic is usually my best friend. good job 👍
Appreciate your time
Good job Curtis.
Please tell us more of what you are doing.
Great one👍🏻
Nice work
Awesome job thank you so much
Great work ,do you offer maintenance cleaning on those units ,because everyone you works on are in horrible condition .🙄🙄
"run cap bandit was there", lol
I guess it's somewhat mounted in place 🤣
Good wrk Sir ,,,
You saved the day
Huh I haven't seen a control board send 27 to the fan like that. Usually it's a stuck relay or bad motor/module.
Hello I have a carrier Unit and it keeps running and doesn’t shut off , it’s set to 70 but it’s 81 in the house , I was told it would be 5000.00 to fix it they said something about a TRV valve do you have any suggestions
I have a weird one... system works perfect in summer and winter, but at the start of every spring or fall my blower won't shut off and is extra loud. This goes on for weeks. Only way to get it to stop is to pull the breaker. This has been going on for 4 years. Any ideas?
Good troubleshooting ...
I missed this one!👍🏻

I was able to check the temperature before the Evaporator and after with a digital thermometer and after a while at each side I got 71.1 before and 41.1 after evaporator. Thats a 30 degrees difference. Could this be right? Now when set thermostat to 74 it drops temp but doesn't turn off, at 75 it turns off and on turns like it should. What could it be problem?
Keep up the good work buddy 👍
Always so strange to see a breaker panel outdoors....
and that always-on fan motor... an X13, could be worse- it not running at all!
what to do on a heatpump with no board. same problem, blower continues to run with no call from thermostat?
All these out door units look like health hazards .
Those sequencers are a bane. Usually I been able to get them to act right if I whack them with a screwdriver handle.
the failed board likely thinks there's flame when there shouldn't be or an open high limit, some will do that on sensing other things wrong or being bad.
It’s a heat pump
Its heating season.....going to need lots of sequencers....good job Bud. Looks like your wrist is not completely healed. (Just pointing this out to the producer lady)
Shot gunning parts? Are they bad?
Good
I have a question about my thermostat. It does not turn off when switched to off and when it clicks to the reached temperature it also does not turn off. Could it be a bad thermostat, a blown fuse or a bad capacitor on the condenser on the outside unit?
Sounds like a bad contractor. If you decide to do the repair yourself make sure to cut the main power and replace wire by wire. DO NOT TAKE ALL WIRES Off and try to remember where they go.
@@paulyanez5198 thanks for the tip,but it got fix and is working. It was a burnt fuse on the main board and not the thermostat itself. I didn't fix it myself, just put a work order so someone can come and fix it.
Mine stayed on after a power outage.
Dont know how .many drains wrong or weeded off 😅
Hello Curtis where did you get those leads for your fieldpiece meter?
I got the same ones from Lowes. They’re made by Fluke
So both were caused by faulty fan controls? lol
Can you do a video on real numbers...im currently in HVAC school and my instructors barley talk about how much things cost vs the profit
That’s a business class versus an HVAC class. I worked for several HVAC contractors and the smartest would buy contactors, capacitors, and common condenser fan motors in bulk to save a lot of money. One year, my boss purchased a bunch of generic 3 ton condensers super cheap and we sold those very quickly. I don’t know how many contractors are buying parts online but it makes sense in many cases.
@@picklerix6162 appreciate it…im doing installs now and hear you can make 800 to 3000 doing 1 install as a side job…just trying to see numbers outside of the hourly wages
wat ashit show oldcrap
I appreciate the efficiency of not adding spaces or proofreading your statement. Next-level efficiency.
#153 thumbs up
Couldn't follow anything you were doing. Bad filming and bad audio.
