I see the Trane unit was manufactured in 2008. So many of the crooks with large fleets around Atlanta would say, "If the unit is more than 10 years old, you are better off to install a newer more efficient unit." Thank you for having high integrity.
Wish I had someone like you in my area uncle Ted. Someone that understood humanity. Someone that understands that this person might do better with this thing than the other person. We need more compassion in life. If I live down, there would be my dream job to come work maintenance for you, and this is coming from the 43 year-old autistic person who learn everything HVAC on his Own.
I just kills me why people install things the way they do wire never should have been under the pan . Always enjoy watching you Mr Ted I’m a contractor in mobile Al have a Blessed Day
I'm ordering one now! I have always been very confident & pretty good at finding shots but I had a call today that took a while to find the sort & that tool would have been great! Thanks for the videos, Nice work.
When you connected the Short Pro Tool, did you connect the one clip to the R or the Com? Of course the other lead went to the wire going to the compressor.
Yep I had the same blown fuse on the 24v circuit. Critters under the house chewing on wires. Had to cut some of it out and reattach them to complete the circuit again.
That's what I call using the right tool for the job. Question for ya Ted. Does the glue on the trane condenser coils glow under a UV light? I've heard from a few guys that the coils light up when they do a leak seach with dye.
Chipmunk chewed through my Trane pressure switch leads too. Just caused an open. No short. Found the perpetrator DOA. WAS SURPRISED that 27 volts was enough to kill a chipmunk. Not as surprised as he was I guess.
Mice, rats, and tree rats, the three best reasons to have at least one indoor/outdoor cat. I prefer two, just in case one might be sleeping, especially when you live in rural areas.
I'll never understand why the most important appliance in the home gets crammed into such a small space. Cool tool im fixing to get one we have allot of democrats in my area who like to chew on wires .
Homeowner 🚁 was so nice and loving you could feel his warm breath on your neck, didn't you?
Thanks for the free tool demonstration.
