"I know who did this job" LOL!!!!!!!!!!! So funny and true. We say the same thing any time we have a "come back" at our dealership. Thanks for sharing brother.
I have a Lux-Air that is 17yrs old an keep extra capacitor’s just in case,I cleaned my evaporator coil with two can of foam cleaner an a cat/dog hair shedding brush , 1st take the brush an dry comb the coil a lot of dirt came out of mine ,2nd spray foam cleaner ,let set 5mins 3rd put everything back together, turn unit on an it will rinse free during condensation drip, now my unit stay’s where I set it an it cycles on an off instead of running constant an it’s icy cold,we are are at 102 degrees in Texas so clean those condensers an evaporators!!!!
Great job. Most people use the “Beer Can Cold” method😒. UEI has a great meter and YellowJacket has the best gauges in my opinion. Please keep the videos coming John👍
I never understand how an hvac can survive in a hot ass attic....I know hvac guys HATE to do service calls in a hot attic let alone replacing an hvac in a hot attic 👎🏽😠....I just had mine replaced last week with an Lennox elite series air handler and heat pump and the installers were glad my air handler is downstairs 👍🏾👍🏾
It’s 88 degrees in nj today. Turned my ac on with room temp at 78 and set temp at 72. 72 now but won’t shut off yet..it eventually shuts off. And if I put temp at 73 it’ll shut off. How can I tell if it’s bad capacitor or bad thermostat sensor for example? freon is good.Air cold out of vents Thanks!
Why are you wishing he was here in Florida. There are many capable techs here in Florida. A 3 1/2 ton unit being down a pound is not going to cause it to run constantly. He has done nothing here that is going to remedy the problem.
Dale The hvac repair guy Why don't you just stf up? Where is your channel? Why watch if you don't like it then? Go change a filter out and shut your face unless you are called on.
Thank you for posting & sharing because, like honestly I just changed my filter and I wouldn’t have figured that it has a fuse! I had to unplug the fuse outside because, it kept running, & yea it was frozen thick, I figured I’d plug it back in by an inch in a half it’ll cut on once The thermostat was turned back on and yeah you guessed it right oh hell no it did not, I had to push it all the way back in here’s my reason for having a high electric bill for two years & yea their are way too many cracks in this house!!!!!
You did not set t stat +5 and see if it turns off / did you look at the coil or blower. is the fan set to On. so the home is 1700 sf ???? you did not do a good video /job !
I have the same problem with my brand new Carrier Infinity system. The indoor thermostat provided a fault code 178 "Indoor Unit Communication." Service came out and re-wired the system and it now continually runs even when the outdoor temperature is 3 to 4 degrees below the thermostat temperature for four to five hours. Please, anyone. The monthly bill has shot up another $70 dollars a month now.
Maybe the inverter or the compressor, I did had a call on a infinity running for a long time and not keeping up the customer said it has being doing this for 4 or 5 months, to make the story short I had to replace the inverter and compressor
@Prince Bumpkin but as I know, r410 is combination of 2 gases,so if you want to top up you need to recover all the gas and vacuum and recharge all the gas, correct me if I'm wrong,
@@thivankafernando5159 Um less than #1 of gas does not qualify as a pull and recharge from scratch. Only ever done that on a problem child unit and suspected mixed gas or sever contamination
Great job as always! You would be surprised how many jobs I go to where the furnace and coil are hung with 1 inch strap

Legend has it the unit is still running
Yep. Don’t feel like spending 11K on an new unit so I’m fixing it myself
Lol

sans the herp-derp gasses and equipment of today, that was 100% perfect, if you had good feeling in hands ;)
I know that feeling of " I know who did this job ". Blood starts to boil cause you know what shitshow is about to ensue.
You always do a a good job! I wish you’re located here in Florida.
I do auto my thermostat but doesn’t stop when get the set temperature. Air blower keep running non stop. What you think?
Thank you for your video. Did you fix it as the HVAC system should not run "non stop?"
Thanks I like your vids and hvac talk. I listen to it mainly at work.
I can make an educated guess at who did the install, they have several installed like that in Lafayette.
I’ve always been told that a unit that runs all the time but maintains set temp is a properly sized unit
Was the system correctly sized for the home?
If the unit would not shut up it’s most likely the common wire off the contactor is touching ground or another wire if the pludger is not welded shut
do you use the new manifold because they gave you it to promote from use of it or did you buy it because you like it
Thanks for the video
1 question I have Trane unit old and the blower not stop working after to reach the temperature keep running?
Gig your honesty !
Is she still running?

Can you tell me or make a video, why fcu continues running?

Thanks!
It's crazy because that is EXACTLY what mine is.doing . Temp set to 73 and it stays at 78 inside the house and the unit just runs nonstop....
@@traphousezombie8003 sounds like you had the heat strips running at the same time the ac was running.
@@traphousezombie8003Did you ever figure this out. This is exactly what my AC is doing and my electric bills has doubled?

Like my dad always jabbed at other techs "Freon fixes everything!" lol. We're good here in Florida.
What would cause it to run constantly?
I was wondering same thing.. short in wire making it run constantly? Thermostat bad? So many things can cause this,
True
Continue to kick ass sir!!!

Blame the other people to make ur self look good, I hate that who ever did the job it's yours now
Just correct anything you see that seems not right.
I tried to say that too: Blame other did terrible works.
