Kevin & Sara, great vid as always. Did not notice the squeeking 19:52 until you meantioned it, had to reply a couple of times was a riot, poor Sara LOL. Arrived back for a short vacation from Iraq with my beautiful wife and our Cane Corso young boy. Got a Goby Stealth roof rack, lights and a tailgate table installed by Will and company at Sierra Expeditions on our new, lifted JKU beast, thanks guys!! and then over to Turtleback to install our new 23Zero RRT & aux room (hats off to the folks there also) On a recommendation from them, we were told to head up to the Rim between Pason & Sho Lo (Black Canyon Lake area). Spent a few wonderful nights for our first time overlanding, will not be our last. Had a bear en counter, was ok until he made his way around the Jeep to where our snoring Cane Corso was sleeping. To void an altercation, I began hollering at it and wrapped on the side of the tent sending it on its way. Elk bugeling and Coyotes was before that, wild horses the night after. Quite the adventure....We all soak es in the Salt River heading back to Pima County. Was your trailer at Turtleback at the end of September? Took a few photos of it with our JKU in the background in hopes of one day before moving to So America to start an Overlanding tour company. Keep up the fantastic vids, stay safe out there, wife enjoy much, thank you!!
I would like to see more about cooking especially the after math of meals with cleaning and storage. Washing dishes is the trickiest for us when we are in remote places
Awesome episode guys! Keep them coming. We're actually heading out on our first long true overland trip to do the White Rim Trail in Utah from CA in a couple of weeks. So this is getting us pumped! Thanks for sharing!
Have you thought about installing a bypass so the compressor doesn't needlessly fill the tank while you're airing up? That's what I did and it works great. Just a quick disconnect somewhere in the line between the compressor and tank. If i'm airing up, I fill directly from the compressor. If I need a tool or an airgun, work from the tank. My air chuck threads onto the valve stem and has a blow-off valve so I can walk away and do whatever else if needed. Just a thought.
Not a bad idea. It's working great for us right now though so not high on the list just yet. We average about 8-10 minutes air-up with 6 tires with the tank working as a buffer.
Thanks for the video, made me realize that the family and I haven't adventured up to Grand Canyon and Zion / Dixie / Bryce area for a bit over a year, jeesh, time flies.
I just camped out at Crazy Jug point over Memorial Day weekend, crazy wind the one night. But the North Kaibab Plateau is the spot to look out on the Canyon in my opinion! Keep those great vids coming Kevin👍
I really like the way that you enjoyed your trips!! I wonder to have my 4runner and have a trip like these. Nice videos keeping in it Greetings from El Salvador!!🇸🇻
WOW! :-O .... That one spot where you were sitting at (time frame 1:29) enjoying your cup of coffee . . . . THAT VIEW! Is that where you were camped at!!?? I gotta know! I'm a Pancreatic Cancer Survivor who is about to embark on a trip from Indianapolis to Utah & AZ & I would LOVE to camp at the same spot! Pleazzzzz share the GPS coordinates!
Enjoyed the video, nothing like a whistler when filming....lol...on the chorizo dish try it with scrambled eggs mixed in on corn tortillas...OMG it is good for breakfast...thanks again for entertaining the family...
Awesome episode folks! Like the new air system, great camping spots and weather, priceless. Primal Outdoors making the cameo appearance, wow, how's that for timing? Can't believe you guys are heading to the Arctic Ocean this late in the season!?!
You can thank Micheal from the unbeaten path for me subscribing. I didn’t know about you guys until I watched his interview with you guys at expo east. Look forward to catching up and following.
Political ad? Really? ? Can't we just have fun anymore without defining political boundaries? Disappointed Kevin. Your now part of the problem. Turtle back trailers off my wishlist. Bob J
Great air setup you have but while watching the video I noticed the compressor pumps nonstop which tells me there is an air leak in the line somewhere. May be worth taking it to your ARB distributor for a look. It should only pump when you attach to the tyre. I’ve got the same model. Let me know how you go. Surely you don’t want to listen to that pump going non stop. ;)
Good question. The reason its running is because there is a 2.5 gallon reserve tank that it is filling between tires. It does shut off if I stop and let the system completely pressurize. Unit has been working great for 5 years now. Thanks for watching!
6:09 he has a stove only inches from a gas can? True metal can and there is something behind stove but a flare up of gease could be bad. I think I would move gas when cooking.
I haven't followed every adventure so this may have been addressed in an early episode. Did you re-gear your truck for towing and hauling all the weight?
Editing on the road and enjoying what they are doing are two different things and should be treated as such. Quality over quantity my friend! Most of us are cool with a little time delay in videos because they are good videos, not slapped together with some music playing. With any adventure they are still at the mercy of everyday life which might be harder with what they are doing so chill, drink some cold ones and wait for the next episode!
Fantastic footage brother!!! Maybe one day we can meet up with Snoopy & I out on the trails!! I’ll be doing some trips in 2019 🤙🏼 @snoopyjeep Instagram
You do know the real stares are your wife and daughter.... The compressor sounds and looks like something that I wouldn't buy from home depot... Inflation time per tire from 10 psi to 28 psi would of made a hell of more sense!!!!!!!

@@LifestyleOverland Awesome! Great to hear and looking forward.
Good to have you back great video 👍👍🇨🇦
We really enjoy your videos🙂
Noticed the Jerry next to the stove at 6:12. Hope it's not a fuel container... Great video!
I noticed that as well, not too smart.
What a stellar intro, nice work my friends! Love the channel
Trip planned in May and they aren’t opening until June so bummed 😢

Great video
Nice one!
I use a rubber tips designed for a Walker to cover the air fitting on the vehicle to keep out dirt/dust. Cost is a few dollars.
Good call.
I'd be sleeping in the truck if I had chorizo for supper! ;)
Haha! I hear ya!
Great intro man, very awe-inspiring
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video love the air inflator I’m going to rig me up one yeah!!!

if you take a look at 0:03......that's a big THUMBS UP!

Ran into Primal Outdoors, too funny!
I think your family might disagree about the compressor being better inside the 4-Runner! Time will tell! At least it’s pulling clean air!
Haha, it's really not that bad. But yes, clean and cool air is a big plus!
Go Kanab!
Awesome video. Who were the couple you camped with? I've attempted to search for them with no luck.

Enjoy your videos keep them coming. I had a question what is the brand of wheels you are running? What size and offset if I might ask? Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! We run the Stealth Custom Series "Stealth 6" wheels. Really don't remember the offset to be honest, but they're 17" wheels.
Thanks for the info.
I haven't followed every adventure so this may have been addressed in an early episode. Did you re-gear your truck for towing and hauling all the weight?
I don’t see the coordinates in the description
Still heading north?
What's your MPG on average pulling a trailer and how much extra fuel you carry?
We see about 11.5 with a gross weight of 10,087 lbs.
Where do u find that awsome music?

How many miles do you have on your 4runner?
Please tell Austin and Leah to remove the Jerry can (for fuel) before they start cooking within mere inches away from the camping stove..
The way you pronounce chorizo😂
chorizo and scrambled eggs, that's breakfast for us Mexicans. Get bolillo and queso fresco next time.
Do you mean Cho-ree-zo?
Pardon the Tennessee accent ;)
