My husband and i totally enjoyed travelling with you on your trip to the Yukon , via video . Loved how excited you boys got when you helped tow that big rig out of the ditch . You both will have lots of stories to tell when you get our age ( 82 and 83 ) Thanks for sharing and drive safe .
I love that new tundra so much that I went out and bought a 2024 limited 4x4 that came with TRD 3inch lift from the factory and I will say this it is a BEAST of a truck , absolutely my fav truck I’ve owned in 28 years !
Thank you for completing my bucket list one frosty video at a time. Your time and effort you put in the editing of these is immensely appreciated. Keep it up.
You just sold so many Tundras for Toyota. I have a Sierra 3500 Duramax and I'm extremely impressed that the Tundra pulled that semi out. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Oh man! That was gut wrenching watching the toyota pulling the semi out of the snow. I was pretty sure, your whole truck bed was gonna come out. Awesome video!
I was surprised the engine started after a night of severe cold. Your video is absolutely awsome and I enjoyed every minute. You two were so helpful to those truckers. Rally, pulling a 40,000 lb truck out of snowbank and then pulling those containers off the flatbed trailer. Epic road trip and some very nice videography
Terrific filming as always 👍 Who could resist such an offer? 😮 I’ve towed broken down 38t artics with a SWB V8 Landrover and a strong chain, but never out of a snowdrift! Top job 👍
Me and my dad took that trip in the summer of 98. We stopped at Fox Alaska and filled up our water tanks. Best water I have ever tasted. The showers from that water were so amazing. Glacier water is awesome
I love watching your video cause it makes me feel like im in Alaska too…hopefully one day i can visit there too so nice..take care always and God bless you both.
First video I've seen of yours and you got an instant subscribe! Not even halfway in and this is such a crisp video/documentary with amazing cinematography, relaxing music and great facts. The Caribou and Alaskan Chicken "chapter" I'll call it, was just so majestic! By the way, what are you filming on!? I'm guessing..Sony Alpha?
Wow. You guys have large ones. Haha. Love that tug on the big rig. Love Toyota. Makes me maybe want to trade my 4runner for a new Tundra. Safe Travels.
Alu-Cab and Frontrunner - two proudly South African brands. Incidentally, South Africa has neither the Tundra nor the Tacoma. The former being impractical because of its size and the latter too fragile for Africa. We do 70-series and Hilux
Thanks for allowing me to join you on your far north interesting trip. You made an impressing recovery, the kinetisk ropes are incdedible, I have seen some more incredible results with them before. In these areas the Norwegian adventurer Lars Monsen has been on a lot of adventures with the most crazy one across all the Northern part of Canada with dog slenge and canoe, a trip where he reached the east coast of Canada after 2 years and 7 months. Thanks for the trip.
Thanks for sharing. I'm about to join the tallow boom, from cocoa butter. You will have a lot of content to make in the future on the garden and greenhouse. Parsley is slow germination like 3 weeks so self seeding is new! Sage flowers are a favorite of bees in the spring. The northwest is a garden and cut flower mecca.
Cool video. That's a friend to have-drop everything and take a flight from where-Utah? To Alaska and then drive an outfitted Tundra through the frozen North? Rock on-brother. Also wondered why they had Toyotas than Fords , Chevy, or Rams??? Ain't no love with murica machine might than MSG mechas??? Oh well.
Thanks for helping out one of our very own! You never know till you give it a try right? Sometimes a bit of a tug is all you need 👍👍 AFD (Alberta Fuel Distributors) is based out of right here in Edmonton, I used to buy my race fuel from them back in the day.
I’m in NJ. I remember studded snow tires. We used to have them here in the ‘70’s when we had lots of snow. Now we don’t get much if any snow and when we do it’s gone in 1 day so, no more studded snow tires allowed here. But they were great in snow and ice. Good stopping power too.
So I am also kitting out the AluCab for winter camping, and I got insulation lining for the tent itself. How difficult was it to keep the tent warm with the bed down?
Hey brother, I’m planning to do a trip like this with my fiancé in my diesel Land Rover discovery. I was wondering do those gas stations also have diesel fuel?
greetings and happy new year 2025 from the province of Pontassieve, Florence, do you use m+s snowflake tires in the snow with your 4x4 off-road vehicles or do you also have snow chains and m+s thermal tires (I have a 4x4 Suzuki Jimny 4x4 off-road vehicle with m13a petrol engine 1.3 LT from year 2001 which i usually use to go to outdoors and in the woods on forest tracks and dirt roads farm tires and now I fitted it with 4 retreaded ziarelli mud power m+s knobby snow flake tires in size 205-70-15!
@@LifestyleOverland Ditto -- I have a '23 Tundra Limited TRD-OR, did a 9,000-mile coast-to-coast trip last spring and it performed beautifully. No worries about it.
At first, I was worried that a lot of people from Alaska were angry at the choices in this video. Then I realized it was just one keyboard warrior commenting 50 times 😂
@LifestyleOverland the bad thing is there is no warning when the engine let's go, even the 24's are blowing up, toyota lots are full of those trucks they can't sell. That would really suck if that engine locked up without warning up there.
All trucks from all years blow up from time to time. Make sure you compare the average data between all makers. A few good deep dive videos out there that put it in proper perspective.
There should be some kind of award for cinematography on RUclips. This deserves a wider audience. Amazing work.
Really appreciate that!

I adore my '23 Tundra Limited TRD-OffRoad (no lift), super capable and comfortable.
This truck is a piece of 💩 you must be a dealer
The vid is like one big Toyota Advertisement
😂😂
Merry Christmas to all. Thanks for the videos over the years and the ones to come.
Thank you for completing my bucket list one frosty video at a time. Your time and effort you put in the editing of these is immensely appreciated. Keep it up.
Wow, that was epic! The saves along the way must have made it even more special. What a journey! 🙌🏻
I watch so many videos of adventure so far. You guys nailed it I love it.
You just sold so many Tundras for Toyota. I have a Sierra 3500 Duramax and I'm extremely impressed that the Tundra pulled that semi out. Great video, thanks for sharing.
hardly. the new Tundras engines keep blowing up lol. they are awful
@ I didn’t say they were great, I said he sold a bunch because of the video. You think American consumers are smart?
First time watcher and well worth it. very enjoyable. You have a new subcriber for life.
Amazing duo & one amazing Tundra ❤
Loved your amazing journey and honest words and the AWESOME VIOLIN MUSIC.... FISRT CLASS !!! Thank you.
Probably the greatest toyota truck ad ever.
What a superb journey. Thanks for upload.
This was a great one! Thanks for the ride.

The scenery of that frozen landscape is amazing, and your recoveries was four star; I couldn’t have done better myself ⭐️😎🤩🤣😂
Kevin your Alaska videos are GOATed. I've got to hit you up soon for some recommendations. I'm hitting Alaska in July this year.
Anytime, brother! You're gonna love it
Your videos are fantastic! That looks like a fun trip. 👍
Merry Christmas from a warm humid Townsville Australia
Thanks for sharing, what a beautiful drive.
Alaska is so beautiful, i want to live there
Great video man, my favorite backsound also...just found out your video, and your voice just like John Krasinksi

it's 60+ deg here in SoCal, my heater is on I'm wearing a hoodie and pyjama, just watching this on 4K makes me shiver and cover up.. 😂

Oh well.
You're awesome and i love your videos, but a single rig in those conditions scares me
Merry Christmas! Love the video. Oh and, The Turtle Club has the best prime rib. One of my favorites since I am from Fairbanks. Happy New Year!
Not gonna lie. I wasn't expecting for you to pull that semi out, but man it felt good to see it lmao. I was kinda surprised
Merry Christmas from warm Durban South Africa
LOL! I think Id rather be in Durban!
Whoa Baby!
❤❤❤❤❤❤well done helping other in such a extremes condition 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Awesome BGM!
Красивый фильм. Попасть на Аляску моя мечта.
What a trip! How long did it take you to plan such a trip? That ending :)
What is the yellow square you put under the truck when you're fueling up in Prudhoe Bay??

你们太棒了!帮助了油罐车脱困,致敬🎉
Cool trip.
SHERP 🚜 it's Ukrainian all-terrain vehicle 🇺🇦. I'm from Ukraine.
Good luck guys.
Thanks for video.
Your campground is olnes pond just 7 miles north of fox alaska on the elliot highway
So I am also kitting out the AluCab for winter camping, and I got insulation lining for the tent itself. How difficult was it to keep the tent warm with the bed down?
Not bad, we have the Webasto heater and the mozzie nets. No issue keeping the tent warm!
What kind of tires is this rig running to have such good traction on the ice?
Hakkapallitta studded tires
@@alaskaoverlander *Hakkapeliitta. Pallitta means without balls.
I don't know how much truckers make up there but they need to get paid more. It's no joke up there.

i have from india are you ourlanding camping very nice ....
With that new tundra i hope it doesnt lock up on you !!!
Social media has blown that out of proportion... No pun intended
@@LifestyleOverland Ditto -- I have a '23 Tundra Limited TRD-OR, did a 9,000-mile coast-to-coast trip last spring and it performed beautifully. No worries about it.
Never received a dime or vehicle from Toyota. Go fish.
Very nice show from you guys happy merry Christmas what is kind tires you got?
Hakkapalitta studded
Did anyone catch the size and name brand of the tires? Obviously they had the studs added but looked like an AT.
why do i dream of doing this?
I need to get a bubba rope now.
Going for a toilet must be a challenge in this cold…
These guys should land a Sponsorship deal by Toyota for this video😂
Trusted 4x4,if i was going, Toyota is une problem away. Very good 4x4
I saw this video months ago and here it seems to be released 2 weeks ago
This is the full length movie version. RUclips prefers longer videos these days so you'll see series wrapped up into feature films from time to time.
@LifestyleOverland oh ok that makes sense now.
wow
Great video. But the OSHA side of me panicked when pulling the truck out. If that rope snapped you’d be cut in two!!
That's why I stood at the middle of the break point, 90° from the line. 👍 Glad you enjoyed it!
Who sings that Livin for the day song in the video? I love it.
I don't have that in front of me right now but you can ask Google, Siri, or use the Shazam app to get quick song info. It's pretty handy.
What is the tires you put on?
At first, I was worried that a lot of people from Alaska were angry at the choices in this video. Then I realized it was just one keyboard warrior commenting 50 times 😂
Yeah, someone was very invested in the story... lol
In what month did you guys drive up there
pretty wild that the oil company basically owns all US access to the sea.
Pretty brave to drive that grenade that far
Social media has over hyped the Tundra issues. Never seen one on the side of the road myself.
@LifestyleOverland since toyota is replacing all the engines id assume it's a nit worse then average
It's sad that an auto manufacturer who goes above and beyond to make things right gets cut down for a bold, very expensive solution.
This voice is used for some other channel 2. It’s called hoofcow
How come the semi didn't have chains on? I missed that part
Awesome,was it Supac Mountain?
Sukakpak Mountain
