    This is great to see, I just did almost the same route last month camping near Winona then up to Sunset Crater where I would agree its the best campsite I've ever stayed and the best sunset I've ever seen. Went down into the canyon and camped March 19th, it was amazing with a big thanks to the Hualapai for allowing people to experience such a beautiful spot. Just barely made it out of Death Valley the other day before the ole truck broke down, now waiting on repairs before I get back on the road towards Utah. Great vid, thanks for sharing.

      Sounds like you nearly hit the route! Absolutely amazing region of this state, the cinders were an incredible place. Our convoy is heading up to canyon lands in may through capital reef then to Death Valley. Hopefully we don’t have the same experience you are… what rig do you run?

      @@Whitedogoverland definitely some amazing scenery there. I'm in an old beat up white 96 f350 work truck but its been a blast of a trip even with the setback. Hoping to be in that same area of Utah in about a week or 2 so if you see that old rig with a TX plate holler at me. Enjoy your trip

    Overlanders... Good fun! I guess I would be called an Overlander just because I have to do it in order to get to my land. I have watched lots of videos recently and enjoyed them. I had a thought this morning, I have never seen anyone on the videos giving something back to the land that gives them so much enjoyment. I felt convicted for some reason of having not done enough myself. How about you?

      Overland, car camping, off-roading it’s all the same these days we just glorify it with a name! I try to leave camp spots better than we find them. Always cleaning trash off the trails that sort of thing. Also like to hit old over grown roads to keep them from getting worse, gives the hotshots better egress to put out fires!

      @@Whitedogoverland where is this trail? Just did Desert National Wildlife Refuge east of Nellis Test Range and Groom lake. Unbelievably desolate. Love to do Grand Canyon…. Meaning is that east or west of south rim? I recognized most of the video, but not diamond creek

    • @Whitedogoverland

      @@truthseeker8123 it’s just north 30mi of peach springs, which is 35mi west of seligman. Extremely desolate reservation town. Saw maybe 2 cars while in the town. Many people don’t know of this diamond creek!

    Very cool video - never knew this was possible. At Peach Creek, what is the name of the place you buy the permit and what is the name of the permit? Also, from this location, how long is the drive to where you camped? Appreciate it.

    • @Whitedogoverland
      @Whitedogoverland  2 года назад +1

      It’s called diamond creek road. In peach springs, at the western end of the town there is an old wooden dilapidated building with no sign or address. It was a wild goose chase finding this place. You can’t even buy them online or ahead of time. Once you depart the tribe office where you get permits, it’s about an hour or 30mi to the beach on the Colorado
