    You're doing great, kid. Your storytelling has really progressed, and you've found the magic of making a connection. Your grandfather's connection with old Tom has clearly picked up again with you. Now, as you travel to new destinations that feeling of a connection will draw you even further towards an answer. It'll be up to you through storytelling to make we the viewers feel what you're feeling. As you just did.
    Stop by and visit Johny Ringo Peters grave on the other side of the mountain. There you'll find my connection. We carry the same family name. Yep that Johny Ringo ...

    The old stomping grounds. The roads look a lot smoother now then they use to. Your story telling and homework that you have put together has defiantly progressed over time with your trips. That is some of my favorite land in the whole SW. I had some really great times with your grandpa in those hills on our hunting trips. Those were definitely some of the good old days. Great job as always son. Love you! Your Pa...

    I’m a HUGE fan of this new rig and your old RAV4. My business had an old rav4 years ago and I loved it so much I might just get one in the future. There are far more people who have small suv & crossovers than have full size rigs. I always look forward to seeing your new videos. I drive a full-size SUV & jeep. Millers Valley in Prescott was named after my 3 or 4th great Grandfather.

    LOL, I took a rental car over Middlemarch pass last time I was in the area. Wondered if I'd make it or have to turn around, but I did. Got more comfortable as I got out on the flats toward Pierce for sure. Spent most of my time and young life on the Sulpher Springs side. We would wander about looking around mines, for pretty rocks, arrowheads, and gather acorns to eat. Although a small acorn you could eat them raw as they did not have the bitter tannins other acorns had. Went there with a Christmas tree permit once, damn hard to find a good tree though. Thanks again for the memories.

    Really love your channel. I’m also loving the new RAV4. I use an ‘18 forester and people love to give me crap for not having a try 4x4. But the fuel economy is great, it’s great on and off road, and fits my gear and family. Nothing more is needed. Stay safe, thanks for the great content.

      @Whitedogoverland  24 дня назад +1

      Sometimes it’s just a better option. I still have the tundra when I need a true 4wd but mostly content with the rav for solo runs. I think a lot of people overestimate the average excursions difficulty.

      @@Whitedogoverland completely agree. I grew up in the valley and was always told gotta have 4x4 to go explore. Had an old ram and then the wrangler and a lot of times never even engaged 4x4 for what we were doing out at like Butcher Jones and that 4 peaks

    Thanks for a great video and history tutorial. Hope to make the trip to the China pass next fall. Regarding your Rav, people can be a little judgmental. If it work for you, go for it…I would be happy with 27 mpg while seeing the world. Too many are caught up on all the gadgets they think will make life better on the trail. Work with in your budget and make sure you have the essential equipment to be safe. Cheers!

      The washer reservoir only sticks out from under the plastic shroud a small amount, I made two supports off the bumper support and bent a piece of aluminum as a skid. I’ll do a video on the rav soon
