I have been looking for an easy, but tasty Rasam recipe for a long time and I even didn’t attempt to try making it again for more than a year because the recipes I tried before never came out good. I followed your recipe today after trying the Soya Pulavu recipe yesterday ( which was super delicious)… and the Rasam came out to be soooo good!! 😊 Spicy and Tangy, and so comforting.

Awesome But One Suggestion is that before adding mustard,cumin etc make sure that oil is well heated and after adding it should splutter as it enhances the flavour of the dish ..

This is how we make rasam too (except we do't add garlic). Some pepper and jeera powder added in the end will really take the flavour up by a notch or two. Thanks Hema. Lovely rasam to clear a blocked nose and enjoy otherwise too :-)

I have to tell you that I’m in love with your rasam, and my husband, who usually does not like it, was all for it when he had it now, said that though the salt was a little less, if I fixed that, it’d be great and that he wa# gonna have it again tonight.
