Oh hell yes! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who enjoys this gem. Far from perfect but dang it is fun.

Aw, you cut it before the response “When you’re this cool, the sun shines on you 24 hours a day!”

I never knew how they missed Sherman hiding in the bushes when he had a bunch of flashing red lights on his head.

This was a VHS favorite of mine back in the 80s and a fun late night TV pop up in the 90s. It was a fun, easygoing film that didn't need too much effort to be entertaining. I can always watch this.

I loved the crying Dawson Creek emblem you inserted at the military base. I had to back it up to make sure that's what it was, it was so quick.

I remember my dad had this on a VHS back when I was little (early 90s) and we'd watch it. So many good videos we used to watch that we had on random blank VHS tapes. Thanks for covering so many of them!

DIS-A-GREE! Saw this as a pre-teen in the theater and loved it! It was the perfect low budget mix of goofy, adventure and a little romance with some low brow humor mixed in. I've seen it since and it holds up as the low budget cult classic it is!

This movie is responsible for me calling almost everyone I knew "dicknose" for the best part of a decade. Did not go down well at divinity school...

I had a theory that every Dennis hopper character was the teacher blasting through time.

Honestly one of my favorite 80's movies. So emblematic of the times

My science project, Weird Science, Revenge of the nerds and Better off dead were the movies of my youth. Thanks for bringing them back!

Love this movie. Makes me yearn for the 80s again. Like the time travel, alien, supernatural elements.

I loved this movie as a kid. Haven't seen it since I was 14, it's about time I did. Every time I see those plasma ball lamps, my first thoughts are the gizmo and this movie.

I can't count how many times I saw this (and the Wraith) growing up. The concept was clever and the characters were good, right down to the deadbeat dad. I annoyed the hell out of my friends quoting Vince Latello. To this day I remember how to connect dynamite to an electrical tower.

I remember watching this on heavy rotation on HBO back in the 80s
