I was friends with Gary Graver on Invasion of the Bee Girls. He shot it. I was the Decorator on the film. Cool guy. He had me over working on the Orson Welles film . Good times
"Linda goes to call the police and...WHAAAAT?!" Amazing.
:)
"what's the matter babe?Don't you like to party"
lmao
"Someone's passing a kidney stone" on the floor...rolling
I just lost it when I heard "the greatest dubbing ever" lol - that's funner than it has any right to be.
I gotta say, the genuine love for the horror genre you show is really charming and providing the context for these movies is a unique addition to the movie analysis genre on RUclips. Great video and great channel! Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Have you thought about doing a episode about Trick R Treat from 2009? I love that movie.
Maybe next year
I got excited, because I thought this was the 2009 one ... (damn these similar titles).
It seems like the perfect movie for a "Exploring ..." episode, for being stuck in release hell for so long, becoming a fan favorite after release on DVD, still having a high production value ...
Well, theres always next year :)
_THAT 35 CENT, BOY, SIT DOWN!_
I never comment on videos but I gotta say you are my favorite internet film reviewer. Your videos are always enjoyable, informative, and I love the random esoteric references. Solid stuff brother!
Thank you!
How about an episode on the film "Trick r treat"
Meatloaf, Steve Railsback, and David Carradine all in the same movie? Pure gold.
More like pure garbage.
This looks like a lot of fun... GREAT cast.
I swear, I feel like you could talk me into watching just about anything.
its a gift :)
He's wearing knee-pads because he's in the career of tackling and taking down people that don't want to be restrained. I mean, obviously.
amazing work as always. the scooby-doo bit killed me! lol!
Thanks!
that 35 cent boys sitdown!
That scream is from the album thrills and chills from the haunted mansion by disney
I love the new style you're doing with these. You're adding jokes and that's great. Keep up the great work man.
Thanks!
The way she thru the candy at the trick or treaters had me dying
just watched this review again . I worked with Gary Graver on a number of films back in day, including the Orson Welles one. Such a cool guy
He made some gems!
That wrestling overdub was freaking excellent!! X D
lmao worst security guard ever
Two minutes in, and this is a film with Steve Railsback AND David Carradine? Why have I not heard of this film?
Carradine looked astoundingly creepy in that suit and his mannerisms.
I love the information you always cram at the end of these.
Thanks!
You must be Psychic or something. I just watched this a few weeks ago here on RUclips. My first thought was "This will be a great flick for GBF to review". And, here it is.
I'm convinced that the guy who does these videos and I would be best friends if we knew each other as creepy as that sounds haha.
Nice to see 'The other side of the wind' finally released.
How does a 30+ year old babysitter afford to add an extra phone line in her bathroom? And why would she do that? Great review!
And youre a jerky boys fan...love the tarbosh joke. Ive watched like 120 of your vids since i found this channel about a month ago. Gotta say, im full on addicted.
Awesome! Glad you like them :)
Wish you had included my favorite clip from the movie. "You're nuts. I'm mad." - Peter Jason, just before breaking out of the asylum.
Can you do an episode over Maximum Overdrive?
Maybe one day
That kid grew up to be Ace Ventura Jr.
lol!
Finally 100,000 subscribers. You've finally reached that milestone. Congratulations man!!!!
Thank you!
A nice breakfast of STFU 🤣🤣shit like that is why I love this channel
hey how about doing trick or treat. the one with the best 80s soundtrack of all time.
Greatest
5:01 There are still buses here in Raleigh that have that paint scheme. They look like their from the 70s or 80s. For the size of city it is the public transport here isn’t what it could be.
Oh my god- a “Jerky Boys” reference? I already loved your channel- now I may actually have to marry it! (Maybe an Egyptian magician can do the ceremony)- thanks, Cecil- you’re a legend!
:)
This is the funniest episode of goodbadflicks in ages, I loved it, keep up the great work
Thank you!
I HAVE MISSED THESE!!! Thank you
You are welcome :)
I love that the ad before this video was for Phantasm remastered and not some schlock about credit cards or meds
Ah, yes. The age old fable of The Boy who Cried Escaped Mental Patient. :P
Hilarious video. Love your channel, keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Had to go look up Tarbash. Thanks, I always dig it when u make references that lead me to something interesting
UPDATE (for anyone who wants to know or wtv): THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND WAS FINALLY ABLE TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY ON NETFLIX!!!!!
I just watched this movie again I love it I watched it every year awesome review love your Channel
Awesome! Thank you!
That cat toss
David Carridine And Steve Railsback! movie gold.... thanx
Love 'The Ropers'm theme music at 2:53...;)
REALLY well edited humorous review of a flick I have to say I'm glad I never rented...thanks for the Halloween Humor...
Peter Jason's had a long & substantial career before & since this film, while Carrie Snodgress was an academy-award nominated actress. David Carradine, two NFL players (Dan Pastorini & the always amusing Tim Rossovich) as the um, personal care attendants, and Steve Railsback is here as well. Sounds like all system go, and I think it's a real strong cast for such a small film.
THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND got finished somehow, because Netflix released it.
Could've been worse--Jess Franco finished Welles's TREASURE ISLAND!
Nice find. Always saw the box at the movie stores, but never rented it. Reminds me of the '81 movie Student Bodies for some reason. You should check that one out, if you don't know it. The fact that it was filmed in L.A. reminded me of Bachelor Party. It just has that look, much like the way you can tell a movie is filmed in NYC.
love your channel! it made me look at movies in other ways other than how much money they had for production...thanks a lot for that!
Thanks!
Best dub ever!!! Lol great writing rung sir! Will you do any more "explore"recent horror movies for this month?
I never noticed you covered this movie. I watched this a year or two back and it is fun, but the kid makes it a long watch. His acting and the constant obnoxious over the top pranks just grate on the nerves fast.
Also, for me, it felt like a lot was left unsaid, that usually gets explained. Was the guy crazy to start? How long was he locked up, so we know if the kid is his? It makes sense, as you lay the film out. But in watching it the first time, it feels so oddly understated.
For instance, I could almost read the end as the kid not getting what was happening, and thinking the babysitter had finally pranked him back thought the knife was a prop. I like that idea mainly as it would tie back to the kid's habitual pranking and the tricks of Trick or Treats.
Woo! You finally reached 100k subs!
Another great episode, i love this channel. I'm about to start making my own bad movie reviews, found a real gem i dont think many people have heard of.
Thanks!
that sound effect used at 6:08 is also used in an old disney series. talk about cheap public domain sound use
Nice but for a moment I thought it will be a review for the 2007 Trick ’r Treat I hope you will review that movie as well sometime.
AlastorD I would love to see trick r treat get the "exploring" treatment. I heard that movie sat in the shelf for a good while.
Yes I think it took two years until they finally releas it.
This looks like a ton of fun. I'll look it up for sure, thanks!
4:27 how I feel about superhero movies
hi love your channel can you do a review or exploring on the superhero movie mystery men
Thanks! Mystery Men is on the list.
some good/bad movies i love that I'd like to see reviewed: Blood in blood out, only the strong, best of the best, bloodsport, out for justice, baseketball, last action hero, freddy vs jason, universal solider. just to name a few.
I am ADDICTED to your channel
"Knocks out the worst security guard ever"-- sneakiest funny line
Steve Railsbeck was in one of the most awesome Sci Fi movies Lifeforce 1985. I didn't know many of this cast had a connection to Orson Wells. Way to pick that up GoodBadFlicks!
RIP Harambe - gone but never forgotten
2:46 good one!!! Lmfao.
1:20 Mustache Guy is clearly this movie's Dorgo. He may also be a time-displaced Matthew McConaughey during his role in Dallas Buyers Club.
I recognize that yell / howl from Disney's halloween album.
Wow that kiss with the kid was super duper creepy lol
That bus driver 😂
One of my fav B horror movies.
Ah fuck, i thought they made a sequel to Trick 'r Treat.
I like this kind of movies, like Creepshow, Trick 'r Treat and... well apart of those two nothing good comes to mind so they should make some good ones.
At 1:30 seconds in, I'm pretty sure that's Matthew McConahey in his Dallas Buyers Club costume.
Can you do an episode on the descent? I want to hear your opinion on it
Its an all time favorite. Great movie.
4:52 That is an excellent bus.
I was seeking this out for YEARS... all I could remember was the fake drowning/make out scene lol. Thx
The first 60 seconds of this video, while highly derivative, are utterly hilarious. Table match FTW.
Have you seen "Killer Sofa"? Just finished watching. I blame you. Seems right up your alley.
Oh woooow. A Tarbash, the Egyptian Magician reference. How fantastic!
Gahhhhh! He punch my teeth!
Ha ha ha Good times. And when Sol Rosenberg hits the table and the dog makes that sound. Made me laugh every time.
i hope we see tons of harambe costumes this halloween, thanks for the reviews man!
Your reviews are awesome and you do a great job with the back story's.
I recommend you see "Dead End City" if you haven't already. I hope you consider doing a review on it
Thanks!
Haven't seen it but I'll check it out
Funny observation, that "kidney stone" scream is actually an unused sound effect from the Haunted Mansion!
@1:01 Nice Jerky Boys Reference!
I remember Malcom and the 2nd Attendant (Tim “I look like Tom Selleck” Rossovich) in Cheech and Chong’s Nice Dreams and Been’s tried having his way with him.
Scooby Doo chase music had me dying!
No mention of the sweet punk rock collection on the wall in the diner?? 😔 Its also ironic just 2yrs. later 'Chopping Mall' would feature an eye among other parts in a similar poster.
That wonderful Taylor Swift joke....
This is pretty terrific.
This looks fun, will definitely have to check this out!
Nice Jerky Boys reference. Glad people still remember them.
Thanks!
love the intro
These reviews make me want to collect all these films :o)
4:15 Harambe always taking shots.
I'm sorry but the fake flower bit was the best!
Dead-End Drive In. My favorite Oz-ploitation film.
Love this movie
Y'know, my first glance at the thumbnail, I DID mistake it for 'Trick or Treat' (1986). As much as I wish that you had reviewed it instead, I'm just happy that someone else knows about my favorite Halloween hidden gem.
I did Trick or Treat my first year but due to various issues its a "lost" episode. I may re-do it one of these days.
Aw man, really? That's too bad, I know if anyone could do it justice, it's you! If you ever do decide to re-do it, that would be seriously awesome!
oh...Please do Trick or Treat... I'll never forget the melting ears!!!
Gary Graver. Great name.
