Great review as usual. This was a guilty pleasure growing up and the look on my Mom’s face when I asked “What is a muff diver?” Is one of those priceless memories. I had such a crush on Kay Lenz back in the day. So thank you for bringing not one but two thoughts that made me smile.
Dude, found your channel a couple months ago and I’m still binging through all your content. Keep up the good work and love how much you appreciate the art!
I did the same thing when I found this channel. He goes through so many movies from back in the day and the info he gives on the backstory of the movies (released past and present) is pretty damn interesting.
Shitting on bad movies is one of my favorite pastimes, and the RUclips channels that do that are easily my favorite. And Good Bad Flicks is the cream of the crop of those channels because of the spirit in which he shits on bad movies, because he really doesn't do that. He pokes fun at the cheesy stuff, but he's never a dick about it, and truly celebrates the overall entertainment value of the flick. Good on ya brother, you are killing it.
dude, did no one else catch the reference to Toto's AFRICA? "hurry boys, she's waiting there for you" as opposed to "hurry boy, it's waiting there for you"... unless that was just coincidence. but you're too attentive to detail for that, Cecil. thank you for another awesome video!!! :)
There were indeed 2 Africa references in there. That was one, the other was near the beginning. (and I thought it was more obvious but I guess not) You are very welcome :)
That blade in the water like a shark fin was really cool actually, surprised I haven't seen it in any other movie. Only thing I know that replicates it is Pyke in League of Legends, but that's not a movie.
Thanks for this series. I love that I found other people who can appreciate a bad movie. I grew up in the height of the rental era of the 80s-early 90s. And I’ve seen a ton of these, on the 10movies for 10days for $10 deals at the local stores.
Damn, for a split second i hoped it was a film about the PS2 game Headhunter... maybe one day... Great work as always Cecil !!! Also the Headhunter looked like a prototype for Saruman's Uruk-Hai boys :P
Believe it or not, the sky does indeed become pink/rose and grey/blue every now and then. I used to think it was a Miami Vice thing, but no, those colors actually show up in the sky. I agree - there should be a movie about the Florida Man Files. The stuff you see there is insane!
Yet another great recommendation! Thanks Cecil! Also, lol, loved the insert of the clip from Cool As Ice! Speaking of which, would you ever consider re-uploading that one?
Another great video. This and AVGN make my slow ass Monday's in this comic shop bearable. Especially loved the wrestling reference, that music was perfect.
Just for the records Dude..She was Nick Noltes wife/girl friend in Rich man Poor man..As i remember her..But im and old fart.:)..Keep up the good work.!
Great review. Never saw this one but it reminded me of a movie called "The Manitou" that came out around the same time. It starred Tony Curtis and scared the crap out of me when I was about 10 or 11.
I wasn't exactly sure when I left the comment, which is why I was vague with the time frame. ( and didn't this one come out in the 80's ? ). It reminded me of this film because of the spiritual aspects each have. Thanks for the correction.
Hey Cecil I remember you saying once the "Wes craven's new nightmare" was your least favorite "nightmare on elm street" film, funny considering how critical acclaimed it is maybe you should do a video on why it's your least favorite, it could start a new series for you.
whats going on with the sky is a 1/2 coral filter. As seen in plenty of 80's/90s shitty post apocalypse and fantasy films and the like. I worked as a lighting assist for 6 years on Xena, we used it a lot ;), Love your channel so many great films, awesome "critique"
OMG Thx for this video, Cecil! This movie looks like hilariously good campy fun! I have to see it now; I cannot figure out how I missed it. First of all, no one likes a good (or bad) decapitation like I do, and I was living in Miami at the time it came out. I loved the Metromover scene (only 25 cents to ride then!) because I used to take that when I worked downtown/was going to school at FIU. My dad worked downtown at the Government Center so I would visit him a lot there. The movie looks like it is filmed actually in either South Miami or parts of Miami Beach or one of the areas south or west of Miami - it doesn't look like Miami proper. Do you have any insight? I do love the voodoo angle, though it is a bit stereotypical to set it in Miami or New Orleans when it comes to that subject. At that time, it was kind of the height of Haitian influx in South Florida, and the fight amongst refugees from Cuba and Haiti because the government accepted tons of Cubans for asylum as political refugees, but turned so many Haitians away - they were escaping their regime too but not in the eyes of Reagan and company. Sad. Anyway, thanks for another look at a movie I have to check out - your videos always make me smile and laugh and I appreciate so much how much work you put into them.
“My wife’s a muff diver “ lmfao. Some great cheesy one liners in this movie. Epitome of 80s cheesy flicks. Great review Cecil.
I've heard some people say that in the 90s. You'd never hear that line in a movie today
and then ... the budget runs out
2:37 KILLS me every time. It's so out of nowhere but also a perfectly appropriate reaction.
Great review as usual. This was a guilty pleasure growing up and the look on my Mom’s face when I asked “What is a muff diver?” Is one of those priceless memories. I had such a crush on Kay Lenz back in the day. So thank you for bringing not one but two thoughts that made me smile.
The Toto lines were placed perfectly for maximum joke effectiveness.
"My wife is a muff diver!" - important detail in this film...along with the random gut-punch.
"I did not alter this footage" good call adding that notation.
I lost it at "do people just hang out in front of police stations?"😂
Dude, found your channel a couple months ago and I’m still binging through all your content. Keep up the good work and love how much you appreciate the art!
Excellent, thanks!
I did the same thing when I found this channel. He goes through so many movies from back in the day and the info he gives on the backstory of the movies (released past and present) is pretty damn interesting.
You look at the bright side of movies. So refreshing compared to a lot of RUclips critics
I really love your little comments during the summary for the movie. Just those little tidbits make me laugh every time.
You and Jared from Avalanche Reviews are the only reasons why my Mondays are awesome. Keep up the good work, sir.
Thank you!
"Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you!"
I freaking love these obscure movie reviews! I'm getting invested with each one! Keep it up, man! : )
BEST CHANNEL IN RUclips!!!
Thank you!
Dont forgot to see Cofin Joe.. You will loved...
Shitting on bad movies is one of my favorite pastimes, and the RUclips channels that do that are easily my favorite. "Do people just hang out in front of the police station?"
in my city, they do.
Nothing will get me back on RUclips faster than Good Bad Flicks!! Bravo!
Thank you!
They could been Mulder and Scully of the 80's Cecil. 😂😂😂😂
The Horror Miser Monty Isn't that Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers from "Strange Things"?
dude, did no one else catch the reference to Toto's AFRICA? "hurry boys, she's waiting there for you" as opposed to "hurry boy, it's waiting there for you"...
unless that was just coincidence.
but you're too attentive to detail for that, Cecil. thank you for another awesome video!!! :)

You are very welcome :)
Yeah, thanks for that Cecil. I love that song!
i just caught it. HA! :)
I caught them both the first time. I feel like Captain America
That blade in the water like a shark fin was really cool actually, surprised I haven't seen it in any other movie. Only thing I know that replicates it is Pyke in League of Legends, but that's not a movie.
That lunch meat party, punch moment is beautiful
Your videos make me so happy. I can feel shitty and a new video comes out and I get a fun distraction. Thanks!
*"My wife is a muff diver!"*
Thanks for this series. I love that I found other people who can appreciate a bad movie.

that dude getting punched in the stomach at the crime scene makes me crack up every time
“My wife is a muff diver!”
someone's always releasing the deadites." *sheesh* :3
This movie gave me nightmares when I was a child. I saw it in turkey in TV and got disturbed from all the beheadings
Loved the new episode. Thanks again for doing the red church story!
Thanks!
8:46 When the movie is so out there that Cecil needs to post a disclaimer! LOL
Did you intentionally quote Toto's "Africa"? ("Hurry, boy, she's waitin' there for you")
There were indeed 2 Africa references in there. That was one, the other was near the beginning. (and I thought it was more obvious but I guess not)
"Bless the rains." I thought it was to obvious. ;)
Officer Chad deserves his own movie.
So the headhunter is defeated by dismembering, so it’s a necromorph in disguise
I assume that the "total dismemberment" rule is an Evil Dead reference.
Damn, for a split second i hoped it was a film about the PS2 game Headhunter... maybe one day... Great work as always Cecil !!! Also the Headhunter looked like a prototype for Saruman's Uruk-Hai boys :P
Thanks!

Seeing as you mention Wayne Crawford, you should do a bit on Jake Speed which I haven't seen since it came out.
Yet another great recommendation! Thanks Cecil! Also, lol, loved the insert of the clip from Cool As Ice! Speaking of which, would you ever consider re-uploading that one?
0:23 Obviously these are the red sky seasons of Ninja Turtles
Headhunter:"Oh no, a knocked over table. My one weakness!!!"😂
Shit, now I want a movie with the "Florida Man cases."
I laughed WAY too @ 2:37 when he hits the other guy. WAY too hard!
That quick frame at 10:29 is pure genius.
The actor who played the Captian, Steve Kanaly was in Dallas, which was a HUGE series in the 80's.
Good to have u back Cecil
Another great video. This and AVGN make my slow ass Monday's in this comic shop bearable. Especially loved the wrestling reference, that music was perfect.
PS - It was Rebel Storm.
Thanks! Rebel Storm was the alternate title to Rising Storm.
GoodBadFlicks Well, aren't you Mr. ImGoodAtMyJob.
Excellent video Cecil can you please do an exploring video on The Company of Wolves?
10:52 best line in the whole movie.
*WOOOOOOOO! NEW VIDEO!* (Mashes thumbs up button)
:)
Just for the records Dude..She was Nick Noltes wife/girl friend in Rich man Poor man..As i remember her..But im and old fart.:)..Keep up the good work.!
OMG, an About Last Night reference !!!!
The movie looks really good I like to see it but it also has That 80's cheese to it as well too. Great review as always.
Thanks!
Great review. Never saw this one but it reminded me of a movie called "The Manitou" that came out around the same time. It starred Tony Curtis and scared the crap out of me when I was about 10 or 11.
The Manitou came out in the 70's not the 90's.

I must now find and watch this!!!
Thank you for this video!

...wow....i had a 80's crush on Kay Lenz! even seeing her now makes my heart flutter ..loved me some Kay!
Everyday I watch a video and I never get bored
Aah. My reward for getting through Monday. Thank you Mr. T😎
7:08 "It was me, Austin! It was me all along!"
How is "The Florida Man Files" not a show/movie series yet?
This is fun goofy movie. I really like the main characters. Surprised that’s it not more known. Kay Lenz is also fine.
“NO CHANCE! NO CHANCE IN H E L L!”
Amazing!
Not 1, but 2 fabulous Toto references!!
1:43 she’s in a movie called *The Passage (1979)* that has Malcolm McDowell playing a SS officer.
whats going on with the sky is a 1/2 coral filter. As seen in plenty of 80's/90s shitty post apocalypse and fantasy films and the like. I worked as a lighting assist for 6 years on Xena, we used it a lot ;), Love your channel so many great films, awesome "critique"
Thank you for letting me know and thanks for the compliment! :)
@@GoodBadFlicks most welcome x
Thumbs up for the Night of the Comet reference alone. 👍
Love how you picked out flip flop Captain
Wonderful review! I got quite a few laughs while watching =) Keep up the great work!
"It looks like someone had a do-it-yourself lunch meat party." Gutpunch - LOL rewatch LOL
OMG Thx for this video, Cecil! This movie looks like hilariously good campy fun! I have to see it now; I cannot figure out how I missed it. Not sure where exactly in Miami they filmed unfortunately.
Strange fact...not only was Kay lenz in the movie "house" but she also did a cameo in an episode of the show House MD. Coincidence? ...idk probably...
Kay Lenz rocks
Cecil, you and I both adored the Warcraft movie. Can we expect an Exploring video on it in the future?
I haven't watched GBF vids in quite some time now, but I think your last few recent reviews are a lot more fast paced now for some reason.
Sweeeet. I just picked this up at a horror con a month or so ago. Slight, but solid B movie.
Telemarketers: *BIG SHOT!*
Logical People: *Sorry, Professor Sinclair, Number 44.*
" He explodes!... Then the budget runs out." LMAO
11:49 you may remember him as Walker and that poster can easily been William Katt from House 1986
Wired to Kill my favorite near apocalyptic flim and she also appeared in Death Wish 4:The Crackdown
I met Kay Lenz in 1991 at the Music + that was down the street from my apartment on Vine Street in Hollywood.
I been waiting for a new vid
10:45 The painting is what is sparking, so it makes sense.
wow, its weird cause yesterday I bought a blu ray copy of this movie you just reviewed, did you read my mind or saw in a crystal ball
I just rented this because June Chadwick is in it.
Must be xmas, got a video from 2 of my fav channels, LGR and GBF! :)
:)
Almost 200k subs!
Slowly getting there
Deserving of a hell of a lot more than that!
Nice Toto reference at the beginning
I'd like a remake of this
toto reference was gold!!!!!!!!!!!!
I laughed at the part of the guy getting punched in the stomach
It's from Blood Diner. He also reviewed that movie on his channel.
@@dcosta7716 yeah I know, I watched that one as well
2:19 he look more like J. K. Simmons J Jonah jameson
A great channel, keep it up!
You called "Rebel Storm" "Rising Storm"... was that intentional? Oh, and LOVE your content, brother!
The captain was Steve Kanaly from the hit tv series Dallas
Have you done Deadly Friend?
The Captain sounds like the jive-talking scientist from Zombi ‘90.
what mic do you use, your audio is very good!?
A Shure SM7B running into a Behringer XENYX 1002 Mixer through a CL-1 and Scarlett Solo
Quick question, why did he say rising storm when the picture says rebel storm
Rebel Storm was the alternate title to Rising Storm.
I figured it was something simple like that, love the content :)
Thanks!
"OH LAWD YOU LISSEN TO ME!!"
I've always had a mad crush on Kay Lenz, I gotta check this movie out.
