Fun fact for you Cecil; After this film, Baxley and Silver were supposed to do an action sci-fi buddy comedy titled Man To Man, which would have been about repo man who picks up alien who's hitchhiking in Nevada desert and two of them then go on a search for his spaceship. It was written by writer of Tango & Cash and Baxley, and originally Schwarzenegger was going to star in it but then they went with Dolph Lundgren. But despite spending few million on pre-production and everything already set to start filming in Las Vegas, Silver and Baxley got into some arguments which lead to film being cancelled.

I *loved* this movie as a teenager. Discovered in on VHS and always told anyone about it I could, since it was pretty much unknown (especially here in Australia). I love how it also feels like a "best of" for so many 80's actors, especially Predator and Die Hard actors. Speaking of which, Die Hard may indeed be the perfect action movie, but I'd easily place Action Jackson in my personal top ten, alongside huge classics like The Rock and Cliffhanger. It's just *that good*, IMO. It is indeed a crime that Carl never became a bigger star; he's not just a fun action hero but has decent acting chops too (he's great in his small Mandalorian role, I agree). He at least deserved his own action movie franchise!

Oh GBF you know how to make a gloomy day a bit brighter. Thanks for the vid
What movie was the clip at 2:04 from? I thought that I saw all of Pacino's movies, but that one is new to me. Tried googling and IMDB but too many results for google and i didnt see much overlap for (what looks like Jim Brown) and Pacino in a movie other than Any Given Sunday which was from 1999...
Dude the Cruising scene sent me down a rabbit hole where I wound up discovering a flick you might be interested in. Surprised you never mentioned it but 'Brotherhood of Justice'(1986) Keanu Reeves and Billy Zane in the same movie. New to me.
I think the best line in the movie is "Hello! I'm Mister ED!"
I cracked up at that line when I first heard it, and I wasn't familiar with the sitcom.
Been waiting on this one for a long time! Thank you bro 😎🍻
I'm so glad you got to Action Jackson
It was Awesome
Dude, I'm glad you put this up!😉
The Invisible Men could learn a thing or two from the Predator.
The new Invisible Man movie in theaters this Spring 2020.
excellent as always, thank you Cecil!🌞
Excellent movie. Great vid mate, cheers.
