I prefer The Swarm. Also been looking for another killer bee movie from the early to mid 90's. Set in rural California as I recall, the opening is fly-over footage of brownish hills and fields as if seeing from the bees POV. Might have been a TV movie. If anyone knows it, please reply.

      Johnny Rio,
There's a TV movie from 1995 featuring killer Bees called Deadly invasion: The killer Bee nightmare.
Could this be what your referring to?

Yo! 80's Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends cutaway! Swarm! I've told my kids about this episode and they didn't believe me until I showed them. Lol

John Saxon must be one hell of a badass to stay so calm around so many damn bees. Tony Todd must be too, considering he had bees in his mouth in multiple moves (give that man an Oscar for doing that!)

13:30 Look at the flags on the right. Apparently in this Bee-universe, the 2nd Spanish Republic and the Republic of Yucatan are still in existence.

Okay...that was hilarious. Talking to the bees, intelligent bees, peaceful negotiations with bees! Bwahahaha! Oh well, it looks better than The Swarm!

    A movie about bees?
A suitcase full a bees should put a stop to this!
This movie was written the now late Dr. Bees.

For obvious reasons, I always thought "The Bees" was a B-movie ripoff of the ultimate B-movie "The Swarm". It's interesting to find out that "The Bees" was being made at the same time as "The Swarm" and the studio wanted to hold off the distribution. Since The Swarm was a box office flop, why would a smaller studio want to jump on that bandwagon? Thanks as always for another great video about another great genre film.
