    I feel like a cheaper alternative for LT1 owners could be to just buy a crate LT4 or one from a crashed, low mileage ZL1/Z06 to eliminate the entire machine shop section lol

      That’s exactly what I did. But to swap into my 1970 c10. I Bought the LT4/10l90e from a wrecked 32k miles 2018 zl1 Camaro . It came with everything needed for the swap. Motor/trans, ecm,tcm, wiring harness, gas pedal, and many upgrades like the griptec pulley, aftermarket elite engineering catch can, Nick Williams 103mm throttle body, forced induction inter chiller, and a roto fab cold air intake for a Camaro. I got it all delivered for 15

    was interested in getting a c7 but it's not as easy as throwing a supercharger/ fuel system on a 5.0 and making 800+ whp with no internal mods.

    Dude no doubt you're better to start off with zl1. I get it though i built an ss to. And if 500 to 600 wheel is the goal ss all stock with procharger or heads cam is the way to go. Once that 1000 number comes into play start lt4 for sure. I have a c7z and just bolt ons since its a time attack car but i look at 2650r like once a week lol. Good find on the fuel system stuff. 💪 awesome car dude!

    LT4's are definately better than the LSA like mine. All of them are expensive to upgrade right. Nice work!

    I'm hoping for a similar set up motor wise but a turbo setup i currently have full vikings and bmr suspension parts and aerospace brakes 15"'s all around and just basic bolt ons and e85 haven't posted a pass in a long time but it's much faster now

    I have a 22 ZL1 1LE . Mag, cam, ported heads, johnson lifters, trunion upgrade, btr spring, pushrods, ktech pump cover and 103, roto fab,17/8 headers, 3 inch out the back, wires, boots, 3 upgraded coolers...( I'm sure there is more) of course brakes, sway bars, that bs bar in the rear end. I think its almost 800 at the wheels...? I am pretty much out of fuel at this point, and really don't want to spend another $10,000.00 on pumps...

      My car made north of 800 with the 3.0 whipple, stage 2 BTR cam, pistons/rods, built heads on 8lbs of boost and 93 octane. If you throw a DSX low side booster on yours, you might be able to stretch that a little more

    Great videos and a lot of information. Happy you got the car where you want it. Car looks and sounds amazing. I have a 2010 Camaro SS with the L99. What do you suggest mods to do first. I’m not looking for 1000 HP but maybe close to 500 HP? Supercharge it or Cam it.

      If you want better gas mileage, grab a supercharger. You can also always take the blower off and put the stock manifold back on to revert it to stock if you want to sell it. Camming it sounds awesome but eats gas crazy and is a little more time consuming to revert to stock lol

    Did you run your BTR stage 2 cam on a stock converter and if so how did it run

      Runs great, no issues. Anything Stage 3 or over you need a converter though

      @@Esbei1LE I want to run headers and cam, I'm just iffy about voiding the warranty. Any suggestions of the safest way to go about it.

      @@MerkabaSS Zero chance you'll have warranty after doing a cam but it'll be a fun car with a cam lol. Some dealers are chill about headers long as you don't get a tune but tbh you won't really gain power without one so I'd hold off. If you wanna do heads/cam/FBO do your head internals, upgraded oil pump and DoD/AFM Delete with the cam and you should be good. Those are really the only things that fails on these cars

    why you went with csp headers instead of kooks or other brands

      From what I understand the CSP headers fit slightly better in there and they're 2". Any 2" headers would be good, and Kooks is great. Just the way they fit is why I picked those

      They have 3 options of headers which you recommend & any other brand what would you use ?besides csp

      @@Traknn Kooks is definitely my second choice. Texas Speed is alright, American Racing is alright, but you definitely want the headers to be somewhat pricey because the cheaper ones can melt and have bad welds from what I've seen.

    Are you able to upgrade the lt1 rear breaks too Brembos like the “SS” and lt1’s and SS have the same driveshaft ?

      Driveshaft is the same, and I'd imagine you can upgrade the brakes

      @@Esbei1LEI seen people say it’s impossible, but I was just wanting to upgrade to rear brembos since lt1’s you only get the brembo up front, thank you going to run stage 2 cam and wanna make sure driveshaft doesn’t snap

      Yes. The noises Whipple's make are very unnerving and their customer service is god awful

      I'm just trying to make 850 whp. I was going to do built bottom end, Fully upgraded fueling, I'm already cammed with ported heads, and lastly I was goin to do meth if needed. If I can make 850 without meth and just running straight E that would be preferred. However Im stuck on Witch Supercharger will help me reach that power goal without running meth. So If I can get your opinion on what do you think would be better to help me reach that goal? A D1X Procharger or Maggie 2650

      @@AGodNameFleet ProChargers can still get heat soak (I thought the reason people get them was to avoid that) so idk. It really depends if you want all your power down low/midrange with a top mount or in the upper RPMs with a centrifugal blower. I've always wondered why people don't just go twin turbo instead of centrifugal though because it has to "spool up" similarly to a turbo but the amount of power is limited. I like having power down low and the whine so I'd suggest a top mount (2650) but it's up to you chief lol

      If you want to go full bolt on or just buy a blower then an SS is great. If you want to save yourself a headache and some money, get an LT4 planform car.

      A 2ss is around 45-50k, and adding another 50 in mods is 100k. You can get a nearly brand new zl1 for 65k. Or a new one for a little over 70.

      I said the LT4 fuel system in the video coupled with the DSX booster pump, but I assumed Frankenstein does lifters and dual springs when they do a head upgrade kit. I should have clarified that to make sure people know to get better lifters! Appreciate the comment

    How are you hitting 1k on that fuel setup? I have the same setup and was told to get past my 753whp ill need meth and or port injection. Im procharged btw.

      I've seen guys hit 1000 with the DSX low side booster. I'm not a tuner so I don't really know how that side of it works but I know it's possible
