I got around the rear diff probl by running an oil cooler under car where exhaust used to be. It doubled the gear oil and cools great no more problems. Used rear diff plugs for the lines, direct thread
I don't know who the main dude in this video is but, all I could focus on was how he looks like a Great Value Benedict Cumberbatch; which is a compliment in a sense. Anyhow, awesome transmission setup. I just discovered this company today and started to do research on it--albeit for a different platform. Kudos nonetheless.
555 engineering is making an oil cooler that should be starting to ship in the next month or so.
We have an oil cooler now we will have to look into bigger lines or somthing

Hello, nice project. I am working in a Yaris Gr rally car project and now is the time to decide between X shift or Kotouc, both with Sybecs ECU. Why you decided Kotouc, have you check X Shift? This Corolla on the vide has Motech or Syvecs? Look great and crazy shifting speed.
Our car runs Syvecs for the ecu
I chose Kotouč because I was told that x shift fit and finish and quality control wasn’t the greatest. Sources also mentioned that the technical support and customer service isn’t the greatest with x shift….
If you happen to go with Kotouč the salesman’s name is Neal. Working with Neal has been amazing and let him know you watched our video. He has some awesome stories of all the cool projects they’ve done throughout the years!

looks and sounds amazing! also wow 2400$ for an AC compressor. I really hope as these cars age and toyota maybe puts this motor in a couple other cars that it becomes a little less bespoke. Doesn't instill a whole lot of confidence to own one of these long term with Porsche parts cost
What’s the maintenance required for one of these? I really don’t wanna have to keep rebuilding one…
Yeah it’s alittle bit crazy. They say rebuild after 1000 race miles. So we were thinking like 2000 street miles

yap, it is a czech manufacturer, the name kotouc you read something like "kotowch" and means "disc".
