I bought one for 50 at Meijer. I was looking for an air fryer for awhile. Since then, I've grilled a steak, made hamburgers w toasted buns, french fries, baked potatoes, blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls and reheated pizza slices . I waited to buy the optional griddle to make sure i was keeping it. I cook everything on parchment paper to keep it clean. Things cook really fast and crispy. I dont overload it so maybe that helps.
I bought this air fryer a couple months ago for $60. Great deal! I didn't experience the same problem with the air fryer as you did. Mine did well with fries and chicken nuggets, that's all I've tried so far. I spray my fries with a little oil to crisp them while they cook but I just followed the instructions in the book on how to air fry and they came out nice! The baking and toasting are great, evenly toasts bread, and muffins were perfect. Overall I would give the machine a 10.
I got this grill as an upgrade / bonus when I ordered my Forever Pans (which I needed new cookware badly anyway). I love the pans, but when it comes to this thing, I agree with some comments. I do like it, but I wouldn't multi task with it. Either grill something, OR air fry it. Air fry the fries, and I do my steaks in the forever pan with the grill insert. Worked great for me at that point. Or toast some bread while you're cooking eggs on the stove. Basically, let it do ONE thing at a time, and you'll be fine.
I did fries and rib eye steaks at the same time, but used the 450F instead of the 400 suggested in the manual. The manual leaves a lot to be desired and I have just experimented to find the best temps for the various foods. I should have used some olive oil on my fries and seasoned them, but I didn't at first and by the time I decided to do that they were getting tough. All in all they were edible. I advise doing toast on the top shelf at L3 or L4, according to how dark you like. I toasted chiabatta rolls successfully on the top slot with the rack. I will let you know how my next experiment goes. Happy cooking!
Oh my gosh glad you caught that last piece of foam and really appreciate that you showed us that. I can totally see someone else missing that as well. I agree this may be nice for someone that doesn't have access to a regular grill but it would be nice if they could figure out how to make the air fryer work better. Good review. 🙂
I have this and the only thing I have used it for so far is chicken and veggie kabobs. I couldn't figure out how to get the temp changed from C to F, but thanks to your video I now know. There is no indication in the manual. Thanks a million. I will let you know when I make the next item.
I have the Ninja Foodi 8 in 1. It's very similar to this except the grill in top. Whenever I air fry fries in mine or takes a while too. So I started putting them in the microwave first to get them started and that helps tremendously. Give it a try.
Hold temp button in for 3 seconds and it'll change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I couldn't figure out how to do it with the manual because it didn't tell you, so I just played around with it until it changed. He does tell you how to do it here.
very good explanation, but I don't know if when I use the air fryer function I should hear the fan, I try to keep pressing the fan button next to the light button for three seconds but I can't hear the difference, with both buttons only the light turns off, is this like that or is the air fryer silent? thank you.
Does anyone know this - can I use the grill if I have the Air Fryer function chosen? I was thinking the fries might cook better if the Air Fryer function was used, but to do chicken on the grill at the same time, does that also heat up if you use the Air Fryer function? I just got this machine this past weekend, and need help!
Thank you Jeff! I just got this gifted to me from parents for xmas 2022. It is still in the box. I prefer watching an unboxing and review before opening my own products. Great review.
Ive used mine once and I was not impressed with it. My potatoes took forever to cook and I had parboiled them and the steak looked as if I had tried to cook them outside in an Arizona summer day.
Pick it up and see how heavy it is. I have an older Cuisinart oven/toaster that must weigh 8lbs. I was in Sam's Club and saw one of those Emerald Lagasse ovens. It was light as a feather. The metal it was made from was one step higher than heavy duty aluminum foil. You have to watch what you are buying or it won't last very long.
I honestly don't like that at all I can do everything that you're doing in this in my air fryer except for grill I can do that in my toaster oven you should start doing the price because I want to know how much these things really cost and maybe someone that wants to buy these products they want to know the price before they waste their time and get it and that sucks though because you have to wait for it to preheat instead of just making what you want to make.

Yes. If things don't cook exactly like you like, you just have to play around with it a little til you get it like you like it.
I just received it for my birthday, as we do not have a working oven. It does wonders for the cookies.
Great review! I’ve had mine for about 2 months so far so good. Love the grill feature, bought mine for $50 from Big Lots. Thank you!

I grill my first steak on it and it turns out great. Thanks for the guide dude.

Great tip about microwaving them first. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Well done review thanks for pointing out the pros and cons
Absolutely! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂
I have this oven. It takes me a long time to cook French fries too
Can one bake cakes, tarts and muffins and pizza in it with regular-sized pans? Or does the company offer add-ons?
Hi wonderful explanation
But I need to know one thing how do I go to the Fahrenheit feature

Does all the lights shut off without unplugging it?
How do you turn this things fan off!??? It keeps tapping the metal on the right side where the fan is!!

My grill top seems to get hot while using internal functions so I would say you can try it
Great review ! Thank you for doing this for us. I like this oven but that pre heat time ..15 minutes ? 🤷♀️ Like someone asked, is it heavy ??
Doesn't take 15 mins to preheat.
Not sure if this was already stated but pretty sure fries took too long due to overcrowding. Definitely got to spaced food out. Awesome vid tho!!👍
Thank you
You are welcome. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
How do you preheat?
Thank you Jeff! I just got this gifted to me from parents for xmas 2022. It is still in the box. I prefer watching an unboxing and review before opening my own products. Great review.

Did you find the griddle plate for the 360 plus?
I never could find one. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
To get it for less look up "emeril griddle plate redeem".
What size is the griddle plate?
It's the same size as the grill on top.
Electricity bill??
Electricity consumption was not measured. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
First mistake was trying to bake fries with the grill
It’s trying to juggle too many functions and keeps dropping balls.
I 💯% agree! They should stick with one thing and do it well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Really disappointed in the air frier portion. Fresh potatoes take over an hour when cut into fries
170 for your steak???? Welllllllllll done huh

Takes way too long. Return to sender. Get a refund. In my experience they don't have enough power 😪
