Hate to sound corny but this song always immerses me into my character that Dragon Quest feeling you get "I want to be stronger" It's the only RPG series where you really feel like you are getting stronger.
I remember the second one being so damn satisfying to hear when you get to it in-game. It's the culmination of the struggles each party member has endured either alone or near to it with the Hero's being the tipping point for both the characters and for the player. They've all come together to confront the darkness as a group and there isn't a shred of doubt that their mission will end in victory. Gonna play this again lol
I don't think it ever will. The games all need to be discovered for its true beauty within, and maybe this kind of story telling is not as appealing for western game players.
@@krisgeno8049 DQ XI, specially the switch version surely helped a lot but still it's way too far for a mainstream audience. At least now some of my friends acknowledge the series lol.
Each Dragon Quest game gives me different visions, nostalgic glimpses to other worlds and landscapes from its music and graphics and setpieces and it's amazing.
I only just recently started getting into this game; I've been working on playing every game in the series I have access to (which is all but X), and this one has been my focus lately, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites. I'm on Chapter 5 now, and there's just something about this game in particular I find myself drawn to. It's so wonderful.
Would you happen to have the entire DQIV suite performed by the Tokyo Metropolitan? I have the NHK Symphony Orchestra version, but the Tokyo Metropolitan did so much better. Also, thanks for posting the first 3 suites. :D

I don't think that sounded corny at all lol
We need a remake of this game with the symphonic OST... March of the Caravan would be so incredible in an HD remake of this game similar to DQ11

No kidding - I didn't know the overworld theme was going to change so when I first heard it I was like... let's do this shit.
Dragon Quest fever hasn't caught up as much here in the U.S. as in Japan, but it's only a matter of time before it does.

Same story here, but I actually bought the Tokyo Met one. It was so worth it, it made this symphonic suite like a whole new experience.
