I hope I make lots of loot and find lots of treasures, sure there will be a few battles but I'm looking forward to seeing all 50 USA states (seen about 24-26 of them as a kid but can't remember) Going to definitely eat pizza in all 50 states so far in Tennessee "Mr. T's Pizza" is recommended, very dielucious horse duecedees.

I still remember getting to this part of the game and putting the controller down on multiple occasions while playing this game in my youth just to hear this song play in its totality cause I liked it so much and I know I am not alone in that and this remix is just the perfect homage to this theme, every time I listen to this I get that same feeling but better somehow which I greatly appreciate, this might have started out as a present to just one person but it has now become a present for all who listen to it so thanks for such a great gift

Well, you made me think about which theme from the saga is my favorite one, and I have found indeed this one is also my favorite one amongst every other one :D I always appreciated the complexity and diverse parts done for this epic song :) Even when I love the much the world map theme for FF VIII, I felt a little disappointed about this one hadn't so much variety in his own. This arrangement is also great, even when I missed the brass from 4:20 approx. That part is one of my favorites in this track ^_^ Thanks for another year of your GREAT art. Have a Merry Christmas!!!
god, i decided to buy ff7 when it was on sale for the switch, got it for 8 australian dollars, and the feeling of coming out of midgar and hearing this song, and spevifically that crescendo for the first time is absolutely magical and worth so much more then those 8 dollars.... im about to reach the temple of the ancients, and i dont know how im going to deal with what will happen... the yuffie quests in wutai were pretty damn fun though, im falling head over heels with this game!! thank you for contributing your own piece to this game's magic :)

remake will never come close to the wonder we felt then. back then, the world was small. delineated. limited. what else lies beyond? you heard this and suddenly it was all possible. hearing this during his bit in the lifestream with tifa... when he bested his opponent... ugh. then finding the notes they scratched to each other in shinra's basement after. the world is filled with beauty, disgust, possibility and loss. this ost captured that better than any other imo.
I remember the first time I heard this just when I got out of Midgar, it's sad but gives you the impression that you have to move on and continue the journey to the unknown. Definitely like life. Sometimes it's sad that we have to let go of things and to move on without them, but we have to.

Hey! I love your Zelda tracks and always listen but just found this a moment ago after looking up the new Final Fantasy 7 Remake trailer and this is beautiful!! I had the thought that if this theme had been made the exact same 200-300 years ago in a classic orchestra, would not music like this considered to be among the best of the classics? Beethoven, Bach, why not? What is less about Mr. Uematsu's masterpiece then other great pieces of music?
This is very true of Uematsu's melodies. I've thought this often as well! Like, if Tchaikovsky or Debussy had composed virtually ANY of Uematsu's strong melodies (of which there are hundreds), they would rank among the most popular classical pieces today!
I am kind of collecting ff rearrangement on the net and especially those of ff7, it is properly endless, i had no clue so many people spend so many time on ff music even though i already knew it was enourmous, it is much much more than what ypu think. Cheers you alll.
Oh this could definitely work in FF15 style. Btw that's a huge dillema for Square I bet. When they made a big leap from PS1 to PS2 (hence FF789 to FF10) they were able to awe us with the graphical details in the towns. But what about world map? Alas, they knew they couldn't deliver that same level of awe and details. So they instead opted with that whole teleport system where you go directly from one point to another (and build some direct linear paths in between). Everyone shat on FF10 back then for that. Then in FF15 they introduced the world map as they did, and they still got shat on by a large portion of the FF community. World map is a real bitch.
This song is excellent. I instinctively thought it would cut to battle music every 5 seconds or so, only to be pleasantly reminded that there is a full track here.

Yes, definitely! ^_^ It's one of my top five soundtracks in the series (the others being 3, 5, 6 and 9). The tracks I'm mostly likely to go after from 7 are Buried in the Snow, Forested Temple, Chasing the Black Caped Man, Fortress of the Condor, Tifa's Theme and Barret's Theme. Also, Holding My Thoughts in my Heart, Interrupted by Fireworks and On that Day 5 Years Ago!

salut, j'imagine que c'est du taff, mais je trouve que celle de nobuo uematsu est un chef d'oeuvre a coté, il y a des note qui se croise qui dénature tout, aussi bien nobuo uematsu que final fantasy 7, je pense qu'il n'y avais rien a changer, just y metre plus de cœur et de sentiment, regarder comme le chef d'orchestre s'amuse comme un fous c'est magnifique et non manifake

I just beat FF VII remake and this is the music I will always hope to hear but I will never do.
I suspect that the overworld arrangement will be one of the better ones in the remake.
I hope the world map will be good in Rebirth. And I hope they include it and actually make it big. You can go from Town to Town. And you're not actually bigger than the town 😂😂😂
I very much want that! I like the way they handled it in FF12. It had zones, rather than an open world, but it really felt like an open world!
