I really like these. Have owned them on both cars, each a little over a year. Hopefully me going over what I both like and dislike can help you make up your mind on whether you would like to get some Rev9 Coilovers for your car <3

Don’t tighten the spring! You should never screw up the preload. It will destroy your handling and destroy the longevity of your springs

Even with how much more difficult they are to adjust, do you reckon they’re still a great entry level coilover for someone hoping to get onto the track while continuing to daily around with the car?

I’ve had them on my 2003 Audi A4 for about 6 or 7 months now and they’re awesome for a performance oriented suspension set up. If you want to slam your car I’d suggest going another route. I’m almost fully adjusted in the front before I get any spring slap and haven’t that I’ve know of but they’re awesome. I’m also running their ko4 turbo for well over a year and I have nothing bad to say, it spools fast and hasn’t blown any extra smoke out of the exhaust

Rev9's website specifically says you can't raise your height with these, that a 1 inch drop is the minimum.

Thank you for making an honest review video. Wish I could saw your video before I got mine. I recently bought these coilovers for the my 2014 Scion xB “my daily driver” . I agree with you 100% . The springs rates and dampening aren’t that great. I’ve adjusted the dampening many times to get it to ride “decently” but still it gives off a bouncy ride. Ive seen other videos of people saying these are “solid” coilovers and that was enough convincing for me. I should of saved up more and spent the extra money for a different brand. I can honestly say they did make my car look good though and for the price and you can’t have high standards.

Low key, the companies that make Great Value brands from Wal Mart are the same companies that make the original products too. General Mills makes the Honey Nut Cheerios and great value version, Honey Nut O's. Blue Bell makes their ice and some of the great value brands🤫 So really it's just two different prices for the same thing made by the same people. So Rev9 is basically Godspeed with a different name/look🤡

well if there better then the lowering springs the previous owner put on along with 3 of the struts being blown and hearing a bang every bump then i’m fine

I get the comparison but I mean cmon, bc racing is literally 3 times the cost lmao I’d hope they’d be better

SuperDan !!’ Love your vids and I miss your Destiny videos. Used to watch you pretty often. I am looking to put these coilovers on my 2017 Acura ILX. Glad you suggest them cause a lot of mixed reviews from what I have seen. I trust your review so I’m going for them. Hope all is good with you and try Destiny 2 again, I been playing since D1 launched. How much would you think the labor would be to have these coilovers installed ? I know it could very by location but just a ball park.

Thanks for the valuable input. I’ve been looking to upgrade my B13 Sentra suspension from the current Eibach drop springs. The part that got me interested is they’re rebuildable. Thanks!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

This was really helpful. All I want to do is lower my car, get the alignment and be done with it. Do you get a lot of bounce out of these?

Just saw these for about $500 for my corolla 2012. I like the setup they have but im concerned on how reliable these are and if they can withstand a good beating. My corollas a daily so i just want a lower center of gravity and more stability around corners. I dont plan to make my corolla a fully tuned street race car so i dont mind going cheap with the struts
