Amazing video, recently binged the crash course series multiple times over!! More of a general question, but are you still using a sens randomizer for practice?
All these techniques have gotten me shadowbanned a couple of times. I've always gotten my account back, but it breaks up your training in-game practice. They literally throw you in lag-spiked lobbies, every has 350 ping. Anyway, When I stopped focusing on speed, I got faster. The other thing is I had to do some mouse calibration with the paint application in Windows, I can't tell you how much the helped with flicking in a straight line. I swear to you, sometimes you really think you have aim assist, when you're beaming. Great video, I definitely respect players that aim train.

This is slightly underrated to the video, so I apologize for that, but you talk about using a higher sens for switching scenes, so I was curious on your thoughts on training on a higher sens to help develop mouse control and aim for your primary game, even double your sens. Are you aware on if it could help or not? Amazing video on target switching and help with speed in general!
Yes, it is a common question and I think it's useful to change your sens frequently, and as you get proficient to run at a higher sens than normal for extra challenge. I think it's important to run at lower sens too in order to train full range of arm motion.
@@RiddBTW that makes sense, honestly seems like a sens randomizer overall would just be more beneficial then, rather than swapping for, say, different parts of a routine.
Low chance anyone sees this but... Can someone explain what he means at 8:20 by "Your stability in your flicks"?? He lists this as the number one most important thing and I'm having a hard time understanding what he meant. Cheers.
By stability I take that he he means how well you can control everything as whole, meaning control your flicks and how your hand reacts after (as he stated some people’s hand jitters after a fast flick), etc.
Non topic related question, but can you suggest the best top 3 reactivity playlist for beginners and intermediate players. I am beginner and specifically suck with reactivity. Tried voltaic reactivity playlist but it was for advanced players. Thank you.
glad to hear it! i'm doing smooth tracking next, i was going to do evasive tswitching but realized, smooth tracking is one of the more fundamental techniques before getting into the hardest ones
Any advice on improving stability while applying the BardOZ Method (1 flick fast, 2 micro adjust)? I’m trying to figure it if I need more downward pressure on the mouse or if it’s as simple as stopping all movement int he fingers/wrist to create the stability. Thanks!
@@RiddBTW appreciate you, Ridd! Watching your last 4-5 videos has completely changed my perspective on aiming. Here’s a quick highlight from last two days in Valorant: 40/9 in DM, Match MVP in almost all games, and 4-0 in last 4 ranked games. Appreciate you!
As you said in the common problems about relying too much in micro correction, how do you get on with that ? Like what are you supposed to do when you are too reliant on your microcorrection ? Will you just get higher first shot accuracy in time and practice or do you have to unlearn it and instead focus on perfect flicks ?
practicing pokeball and learning to decelerate approaching the bot, basically focusing on underflicking is the best way to get better at first shot accuracy. you don't want to 'unlearn' overflicking because it's a valuable tool when you miss, it's moreso learning to prioritize underflicking
Im curious what you gonna say when we get to precise tracking as the common advice is currently just "track better lmao" even from people like torje who actually does vodreviews for voltaic.
I've actually been thinking about this and I might do smoothness tracking next, because evasive tracking requires a lot more tracking skills and I haven't covered that yet
been waiting for this after watching your other guides, and target switching has me the most baffled. Having practiced flicks separately form tracking, then having to merge the two is oddly confusing. Whenever i need to track and flick, I always o the shaky thing you mention, I really want to crack that
it really is part of the process, that's one difficult thing about aiming is it is motor and muscle development. so it can be frustrating to "know" what you should be doing, even though you can't currently execute it. you will get there, i promise.
@@RiddBTW it’s something that even happens with simple flicks in game but not aim lab, and it’s really annoying. I’m not really sure how to stop it cause it even happens when I focus on not doing it.
@@thebulletkin8393 pay attention to which parts of your hand specifically are shaky when it happens (likely your wrist, fingertip) and focus on specifically isolating those muscles when aim training to develop. like hold the parts of your arm not related to the shakiness completely still and focus on developing the shaky muscle groups
@@RiddBTW I think the problem is that i try to flick far too quickly, after watching back some clips i got today is em to have this sensation after a very quick flick that needs to transfer into a track.
Checking a lot of videos, training everyday trying to implement the stuff content creators talk about and yet i still sit there like a rampant ape asking myself "why am i doing this?" I am shaky deluxe on my flick landing. A strange feeling i have is that my mouse grinds the pad. It is not floating on it, almost like it is stuttering back and forth. Don't know if it is my unmedicated ADHD or my Asperger, but i have huge problems with implementing stuff i listen to or read.
if you can play with it then that's all that matters. there will be aim types that will just be suboptimal in that range but depending on the game/role you play it may not matter
@@RiddBTW appreciate the reply, and the content not long discovered you on my pursuit of better aim, so got alot to watch but seen reactive video and the tips on there are amazing especially about prediction, never factored that, that is what I was doing and instant improvement from me, no more swaying way off target predicting it's going there, just react. I've tried low sens and it just doesn't work, but fingertip high sens is where its most comfortable and I'm getting better results. Thanks again
the changing my sens for different aim categories might be the missing piece for me hitting diamond. i've just been using 35cm/360 for everything XD. thanks again for the great vid.
I would generally recommend to play 103OW for all scens except TS, then switch to 115-125OW so you can see more real estate. What you actually play in FPS doesn't matter
no, as far as I can tell in AL the scoring system is far more straightforward. linear accuracy penalty if applied, or no accu penalty. I think the mapmaking capabilities in AL are more limited in some ways
Lighter wood floors, black targets, pinkish sunrise kind of sky, concrete panels. All depends on preference though, I literally can use static visuals for pretty much everything.
Not gonna lie, I use ~50-60 cm 360 because of Valo and feel kinda dumb for not going up for TS after trying 21-37 cm out yesterday. Still sticking to 60 cm for Valorant/small dots/pasu (I lowered it and lowered it for a reason lmao) but 21cm felt surprisingly manageable on TS & reactivity scenarios, and 37 cm felt insanely smooth after 30 minutes on 21 & 27. Easy high scores on a lot of TS and tracking scens.
to be fair, people like RandomDeadDude get Astra on TS with ~50-60cm, but I'm glad it helped. And yeah I was also surprised with how smooth it felt after getting adjusted to it in a few mins!
that's a good question, I am actually a systems engineer so it is my background but I'm not a total expert in that domain. I would say "it depends" if you get things like microstuttering in poorly optimized games like Apex is infamouse for microstutters after 180fps, then a stable framerate is more important. Otherwise, more frames = less input lag, so you generally want more frames
@@RiddBTW thanks for the info bro I have a super low budget pc I use only for aim training and play warzone on console on series s and was debating on if a 144hz monitor was worth buying considering the series s doesn’t hold a stable 120 frames for warzone but I think im gonna get it but I have another problem being my pc only gets 60 frames max in aim trainers and I was wondering could this affect my aim negatively ?
