One thing that helps me a lot with smoothness that is almost never mentioned is using a gyro ball. I think scucci talked about using one at some point and I had a gyro ball from when I was playing table tennis as a kid so I dug it up again and it actually improves my smoothness a lot. The way I use it is spinning it up for just around 1/2 to 1 minute right before I do my aim warmup and it gets rid of all the "rust" in the fingers, wrist and forearm which boosts my smoothness and stability by a noticeable amount, especially if I felt a bit shaky or physically rusty before.
what a nuanced and well thought-out take on not only tacking but aim training as a whole. really like the way you frame it as a supplement and not a substitute for actually playing the game. i expected nothing less from ddk
precise scenarios , pgti, raw smoothness transitioning tension through your arm is the key along with playing multiple sens to help with isolating your arm wrist finger tips exc
Play a lot of quake and game sense, then you will improve a lot. You can outsmart by targeting but you still need grind your game sense on what kind game you were playing.
Whats ur opinion on aim training with a glass pad especially tracking scenario but playing TacFPS with cloth mudpad for extra stability? Because I find it hard to play a tracking scenario like (cloverControlAim) with a mudpad because how slow it is. So basicly the glasspad for aimtrain and cloth for actual main game (Val,Cs2) Really appreacite if you give an insight to this topic 😊
Yeah I think tracking is a lot easier on glass, for sure. I think the main trade-off for glass is that the dynamic friction is so low that it is harder to control landings consistently. So what you're saying makes sense--minigod was describing to me that he had this issue with glass and performs overall better on the right kind of cloth pad. Here's what he said: "I've learned that my sweet spot is basically a cloth pad with a hard surface (or mid), smooth fast glide, little stopping power. So I have that glass-like feel on a clothpad for better flicks and that's how im using kurosun ninja now."
Hey dan! I'll take my chances even if high chance you won't read this. Would be great if you'll make a 'movement' video, what's good and what's bad. I'm more into valorant, some cs, and apex. I keep hearing pros or good streamers say that the person their inspecting or like a video they're watching for their content has bad movement. So, what I'm saying is, what differentiates the "bad" and the good and or godly movement?
This is a great idea. I have a couple deadlock videos and another aim video in the pipeline for this week, but I'll try to see how a movement video could fit into the following week. I'm not sure how easy/hard/how much time it'll need to make, but I'd likely try and take examples from various games I have experience in as movement generally tends, like anything, to be about efficiency. Efficiency in advantages/options it affords you, in time it saves you, or in options it restricts the opponent from. So with that said, taking a few different games as examples could be a good way to approach it--no promises on release time but I like the idea a lot!
@@ddkesports thank you so much dan!! I never really expected this! Loving your content so far, I hope you're doing well. Loved watching you since DDK + Sean casting duo! There's no need for a deadline, you do you. GLHF!
Ive been gradually lowering my sens from 102cm over the last few weeks because i could barely track at all im down to 60cm but i cant make it any faster without becoming very shaky, any tips?
yeah when I started making it, I was going to cover some more tracking skills, but quickly realized it'd be better to spend a bit more time on each one and give each its own vid. Will also do this for flicking! Not sure how fast I'll be able to roll these out with other content going on the channel, but as the reception has been great so far it's really motivating to prioritize these!
Currently switching between 3, Vaxee XE-S, Lamzu Maya & Finalmouse SL12 Small I'm trying to get a sense as to how and why each shape helps or hinders. Each shape has performance differences for me. I'm actually looking forward to getting my hands on the Pathfinder mouse next year to see if I can craft the perfect shape!
that’s just not true😭 if your bad on 400 dpi/1000 hz your still gonna be bad on 8000hz i have some of the smoothest tracking on 1000hz polling rate it really doesn’t matter
@Phaniac. 1600 being smoother is a fact. I have years of experience on 400, 800, and 1600. 1600 dpi is the smoothest if you can control it. 400 is the steadiest, but takes a lot of work to track compared to 800/1600. If you don't have first hand experience using 1600 and can't tell the difference, then you've tarnished your value
Stalk3r and Topdragon 1600dpi players on tracer aren't known for their smoooooooooth tracking or anything amiright. Lmk who else matches them for smooth tracking on 400/800 in ow2, I'll wait. Dafran plays on 400, Proper plays on 800. I'm ready to go into detail on it all, just lmk
The fascination with aim trainers is really bad for people. 90% of aim is just learnin g how a human being moves around while trying to avoid damage. If you're good at that they might as well be stationary. Obviously you cannot learn this by shooting at scripted targets, which will give you bad habits.

great vid!! the scucchi wrist thing is actually something I started doing just a few days ago and it really does improve smoothness a lot!
Thank you for the effort you put in the video !! A lot of knowledge shared and no directive advice, room for personal preference, perfect :D
Have been trying to work on smoothness so this video comes in at the perfect time. As always, amazing video- love the content ❤
loved the video, i think ur great at explaining thing by making it simple and clear but still keeping the nuance between aimtrainer and actual games

what is pgti raw smoothness😭
@@Phaniac. not as in one thing its meant to be 2 different things like TSK
Yay you did the video, thankyou
My tracking is probably the best part of my aim
i enjoyed this style of video!
Nice!
I love the tsk benchmarks for this
Good stuff!

just started my tracking grind after neglecting it for so many months to get gm clicking and i have no idea what im doing so thanks
Another great vid. What mouse are you on now? Are you still using the Maya? Thanks!
My tracking is actually so bad💀💀
Tracking is the only think you need if you play a game with high mobility

1:48 name of the scenario? (Also, any Koovaks one that's literally it)

Viscose is using 32-34 cm for tracking games.
whats the music at 6:20?

What shape did you find I am also a high sensitivity csgo player and I want to know
Is this a new series? Looking forward to it if so

@@ddkesports Excellent! That's good news. I still reference Ridd's series on each aim topic and I feel like this is an excellent addition to it.
is the Vaxee XE-S your main mouse at the moment?

Aim Frog?!🐸
Someone can give me code all map lg56 from A to D, i can't find him
8:50 - pretty sure Matty uses ~45cm in OW
I'll check with him and get back to you--last I heard was 35ish.
he uses a different cm for each hero
Connect your mouse with a high end USB pcie card and crank your dpi to 1600 with 8000 hz polling rate youll have smooth tracking

She's pretty good, think she has celestial complete on voltaic iirc and is one of their main coaches
