- This isn't a first-time reaction because I know I've heard Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven", but I haven't explored much else from the band's catalog. Today we're watching them perform "Since I've Been Loving You" live at Madison Square Garden in 1973.

There’s 2 kinds of people. Those who love Led Zeppelin, and those who haven’t heard them yet.
You forgot all the ones who piss and moan about what thieves they think Led Zeppelin were. I pity those people.
Amen 🙂
You're wrong. There's 3 types of people, the third ones are the ones who know better..
you forgot to insert the word 'only' between the "therer's" & '2'
Only The Beatles exist for 2 people.
Led Zeppelin were famous for not playing songs the same way twice. They're just great musicians. It was fun to watch your appreciation of their blues chops on this one. Speaking as a guitar player, that high note near the end that you were curious about is most certainly Robert Plant's voice. I can't get enough of this particular version of the song. Great reaction, Bethany!
This is indeed Plant's voice. If anyone is in doubt, just look at Jimmy Page's left hand. If he played this high note, then his hand should have slid to the base of the guitar neck: this is where the strings are clamped on high notes. But he didn't. I did not immediately understand, and then I began to closely follow the guitarist, and not the singer. This is Plant's note.🙂
Another band to look at on that note (not playing the song the same way twice), listen to the Grateful Dead. Any song, it doesn’t matter, they were a jam band more than anything else. Their lives shows were an experience… even if you weren’t on anything (but I’d say only 1% of people at dead shows were not on one drug or another🤣… at least that’s what a friend told me😜🤣
He goes for the high note but his voice breaks, as does happen on tour playing many shows a month.
@@j_freed Plus all the cigy's , cocaine and booze you want, dont help the vocal chords
I agree his voice breaks - I have heard other recordings where it doesn’t in this song. But it is definitely his voice and not the guitar.
This was 50 years ago. Still is the best rock performance in history
You can say that again! Ever since my step dad showed me this when I was a kid back when we had VHS it did something inside me that I can't explain. My life was never the same and ever since that night long ago I have not stopped watching it from VHS, DVD to Blu-ray they even came out with an album of the show and now waiting for it to come out on 4k. Can't even remember how many times I've seen/listened to this. As a matter of fact I'm watching it on RUclips, forgot what I was searching for but the whole movie/concert was free to watch with ads. How can I not click on it.
All the dates were in 75&77
@@T.D.I.Y.M.F.MSame here!

She blushed the whole song.nothing to do with Robert plants tight pants 😂❤😊😊
Zeppelin was notorious for improvisation during live performances. That’s what really made them special to see live. Their performance was never canned. Maybe not always clean and pristine but never, ever boring. Four of the most accomplished musicians in the history of Rock music. Really enjoyed your reaction, young lady.
Attention English hopeful...NOTORIOUS has a negative connotation: infamous, disreputable...I think you have meant: Zeppelin was WELL-KNOWN for....that's something quite different...
@@ionicast - Notorious has two meanings... one simply meaning "of note", "famous" or "worth noting". But yeah... it is also often used in a negative sense to describe criminal notoriety or an underhanded sort of fame.
PS - The word that people always seem to misuse in this context is "infamous" which is always a negative.
Amen
You said it exactly what I was going to say plus the best band ever!!
💯 correct
They were recognized and given a Kennedy Center award for the best rock group...they are musical geniuses.
Led Zeppelin recibió el premio nobel de la música en 2005 .
El premio "Polar"
En Suecia.
He was 24/25 here. Which just blows my mind how much confidence and stage presence he had. Actually even their first recordings when he was 20. Just an unreal performer. Best of the best.
Yep going to see him in Nov with his UK band of the moment Saving Grace , lovely folk blues psych fusion . He is not the Robert Plant of Zep but he is at 75 still a great vocalist , v musical and v playful with a few nods to his past and if youre lucky the odd Planty scream
He had a lot of experience, having started performing on stage while only around 17 years old. He was only 20 when Page found him.
Yes all of them
@@Grimalken1969he was 16 in his first band band of joy 1964 bonham got his first set of drums at 14 years old he played in his first band the king snakes when he was 16 years old 1964
Also Remember no voice lessons either Just all natural crazy that also goes for Bonham I believe he went to one drum lesson and the teacher told him to save his money and don't come back there was nothing he could teach him he was 14 then first year that he got a drum kit two years later his playing in the king snakes
The studio version is well worth hearing. Plant himself considers it his best performance. It's sublime.
100% agree 👍🏻
Exactly, the studio version is easily the best imo
Definitely well worth listening to, my personal fave. But… perhaps you’re confused? I’ve heard Plant in an interview say that The Rain Song is his proudest Zep moment.
no it's not/ not even close to this. yeah i know you got a led t-shirt last year. it's all good. i saw them this '73 tour. sit down
There's also a version from the Zeppelin DVD that's from a different night at MSG, it's a little tighter. I think it's the better version, though they are quite similar.
Very few bands could get into a pocket like Led Zeppelin. Those four made magic together; their grooves feel almost telepathic.
Gods. The POWER of Led Zeppelin is unmatched.
Watching the young ladys face during this vid was magic. Heres hoping she does all of Zepplins work. I've been a huge fan for sixty odd years. Young lady has years to enjoy their majesty! Enjoy and Rock and Roll
The aura of this band live is unexplainable. They have double doses of the "it" factor.
Quadruple doses! Zep were peerless!
Deal with the Devil, baby.
Arguably, one of the finest performances ever captured on film.
Improvisation and working together, playing off one anothers' riffs was part of the magic of Zep.
Agreed. This and Comfortably Numb at the Pulse concert is the probably the Mt Everest of live performances - nothiwthstanding apparently LZ did many better performances than the TSRTS film.
I’ve been loosing my worried mind listening to Led Zeppelin for 50 years now, for me it soothes the soul like no other band
Bluesy is right. Conversational is right. Improvisational is right. Soulful is right. This song actually beats out Stairway to Heaven for me. It's like a religious experience each time I listen to it. A stillness overtakes me as I listen in awe to the raw emotion being portrayed so masterfully by all the musicians in the band with each of them complimenting one another. I enjoyed your cool insights to my favorite Led Zeppelin song! As an aside, I saw them live 4 times! The first two times were at the Kinetic Playground in Chicago. Oh, were they HOT!
I saw them at the Kinetic Playground in spring ‘69 as well-with a little purple haze, they were spellbinding. Bonzo’s Moby Dick was epic.
Loved them but never saw them live.....Dam!
Saw them 3rd row right in the middle at Madison Square 1977 tour. Unreal!
To answer your question: this is the music I want to listen to. All of Zeppelin. All of it.
Each member of Led Zeppelin is a master of their craft. My favourite band of all time since 1972 when I was 12 years old. As I got older I came to appreciate their back-catalogue (which I was too young to appreciate at first) as well, and my love affair with them has continued and grown ever since.
I don’t always listen to Led Zeppelin but when I do so do my neighbors
Yep. ❤
🤣 🤘
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
lol...🤣😂🤣😁
Lez Zeppelin and Robert Plant have been my favorite since I was a young teenager. I'm now 60. Robert still puts me on another level of consiousness, not to mention I was in love with him just for HIM but his vocals just put me on another level. Still makes my heart beat fast and sweating. There will never be another Led Zeppelin.
So amazingly talented and sexy. Mwuahhhh. ❤
Led Zeppelin 1 is number 1. The variety, the raw emotion, power. Made in 38 hours. True stait from the soul. Number one album of any group
Don’t worry, Led Zeppelin has been blowing peoples minds for over 50 years. 🤯
55 years 👍👍👍
And it sounds absolutely fresh and emotional each and every time! Led Zeppelin was such an influential group in the early days of rock, blues rock, hard rock music that by the time I saw them live in 1979 my image was shattered - they were human after all!
Listen to,Going to California,it is a great chill song.
@@leelyda4308 I think I’ve listened to every Zeppelin song at least a 1001 times.
44 years for me!
I was a teenager in the 70s and Led Zeppelin is what we listened to. They are who I think of when I think of rock music.
❤
Plant and Page had great instincts for blues and mastered call & response between Robert's voice and Jimmy's guitar. In "Dazed and Confused" there is an entire section that showcases such an interlude between the two. They were just a fantastic band, all 4 members locked in together so they could riff and improvise without ever losing their groove. Robert also plays harmonica but in the style of vocals; he's amazing on "When the Levee Breaks".
Led Zeppelin is for the ADVANCED music listener. 💥💥💥👍😎
What always impressed me about Robert Plant live is his way of converting a song we know from a studio album and tastefully cheating, not hitting the high or intense notes on the album. He's masterful at it. He certainly goes for some of the high bits, as shown here, but is very smart in saving his voice.
That is experience and knowing what he has in the tank to get through the night or the upcoming schedule. It comes from doing 700+ 2-4 hr shows.
Thank you Bethany. A classic performance with Robert in his prime. Watching the expressions on your face as you experience these songs is priceless. Keep discovering new stuff!
Past his prime.
His voice is damaged here.
He developed nodules on his vocal cords in late 1972, which got worse through 1973. He had to have a throat operation.
He's still bloody great here though, with an amazing stage presence which every woman reacting to it seems to be in awe of. I've literally watched dozens of them.
@@Incomudro1963 I would agree he had damage here that limited his full range displayed between 68-72. His voice alone in the early videos is worth a reaction from people like Bethany. They were extremely loud, and with that ultra pro rhythm section pounding behind them, Plant and Page up front in your face literally overwhelmed audiences, especially seeing them for the 1st time.
16:39 in the album version, when Robert sang the part “oh my tears that fell like rain.. don’t you see them fall”, the drum actually followed with the beats that imitated the emotional impact of tears falling! Love it!
I've watch this performance 1,000,000,000,000 times. Love it more every time.
I’m with you here bud..I watched it probably every day (a few times) for about five years in the early 90s..had it on the old VHS cassette..every single day..over and over, the whole show, still pure magic ✊🍻
ME Too!! CAN'T GET ENOUGH!! HA HA HA!!!
Just phenomenal , brilliant performance . Page's guitar is from Heaven . Best ever , love it ❤
Page is so overrated and totally botched the second guitar solo here. The man couldn't keep in time to safe his life. Maybe it's all the drugs I don't know but yeah he played horribly here
@@goldenboy140lol, I bet you play guitar, and pretty badly I’d imagine. You probably also love to listen to lukewarm players, lol. You have no concept of how tone deaf you are . 😂
Led Zeppelin is known most as a blues rock band. If you want to hear a great example of this listen to "When Levee Breaks" which is a cover of an ancient blues tune. In my opinion they are the greatest rock band that ever was.
Thanks for your appreciation of this band. All the members are amazing. You have opened up a door that can lead to Robert's life time of work, along with all the commentary Jimmy Page gives on creating the music. As said below, you need to check out studio versions too. There is so much emotion in this song that it helps me to cry when I need to get it out. Thanks again for your appreciation.
The studio version has the most incredible blues guitar solo ever recorded. I was fortunate enough to see Zeppelin live in 1971, 1973, and 1975. In Florida. Their live performances were incredible.
This is beyond rock.
It's blues/jazz, these guys are real musicians flexing mastery way out on the edge of being.
One tiny misstep and everything would fall apart.
Yep that is absolutely Roberts voice at the end, best blues/rock vocalist of all time 😊
Just discovered your channel, great reaction! That is an iconic performance and I was fortunate to be at that show July 29, 1973… The original version of the song was released in 1970. Believe it or not three years later as powerful and high pitched Robert Plant sounds, from all the touring he lost a good amount of power and range since three years earlier. If you want your mind really blown, please listen to the original studio version!
Great reaction .... LZ did about 80% of their 700+ 2-4hr concerts/shows between 68-73. They did not release singles (very few and always forced by the label) and promoted the albums this way, as they also did not use TV or other media methods of the time (ie: interviews ect ...) to promote their music. Plant had vocal surgery not long after these tours. They took a full year off and worked on the double album release for 75, but Robert Plant was never the godlike phenom he was when he broke in and shocked the industry. Listen to studio or live from 1969-70, you will not be disappointed!
Plant developed nodules on his vocal cords in late 1972, which got worse through 1973. He later had to have a 'secret' throat operation to get rid of them. He still hadn't fully recovered when Zeppelin recorded Physical Graffiti, and you can hear a cool raspiness in his voice on the songs recorded for that album in 1974.
@@lyndoncmp5751 Several tracks that were added to PG were earlier recordings and studio work that did not make it onto previous albums. This accounts for the variances in his vocals from track to track on this (what turned into) double album (15 tracks). The albums and other musical ventures that came afterward were tremendous efforts and produced more timeless music. I don't want anyone to think I am saying Robert was not fabulous going forward! I (and apparently others here) are just stating facts about his sound having to evolve as the years went on.
@@johnwalsh9144
Indeed, and you can tell the difference in Plant's vocals. The raspiness on Custard Pie (recorded post operation in 1974) vs the high pitch on Houses of the Holy (recorded pre operation in 1972) to name just one example of the different voices he had.
This song just nails it for me in terms of emotions, page's guitar work is the centerpiece of this masterpiece and how he just
weaves in and out of his notes. Definitely one of the best work page has done.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Those of us who loved Led Zeppelin have always considered them a blues/rock ballad band. One of the best bands ever. I played for my wife on a road trip who really had never heard them and is now a huge fan.
This has to be one of the best performances of all time, in my opinion. The talent, tightness of the band, and vocal range are all just astounding. I've watched it hundreds of times and am almost brought to tears, every time he hits that last apex, near the end: SO THRILLING! Has to be one of the most mesmerizing, erotic, AMAZING performances I've ever seen! Really showcases their cohesiveness as a band. The call and response is amazing, as it always is with Led Zepplin...and, you add JPJ's bass and Bonzo's amazing drumming (usually in a very different time signature than the rest of the song with their catalog): you just CANNOT get much BETTER THAN THIS! LOVED your reaction. It matched mine, the first time I heard this song, years ago!! JUST INCREDIBLE. Thanks for your channel - I've really enjoyed watching your reactions! HUGS! ❤
I’m only 26 years old and the only person in my peers who have seen Plant perform live albeit with the band of joy but still a sight to behold and one of the most cherished memories of my life ❤
Led Zeppelin's brilliance was the constant improvisation between the 4 musicians. The drummer played off the guitar licks just as much as the vocalist. They pushed themselves everynight, never playing it safe.
I saw them live in 1975 and true, he doesn't seem to use his diaphram at all. I like your reactions. i think that Zeppelin's partial success was the fact all four members stand out in each and every song on their own contributions, whether it is vocal, guitar ,bass ,or drums. They are all excellent. Peace and Love. (I am 74 and when I saw them live, tickets were only $10.50 for a non stop 3 1/2 hour gig. no frills, no auto tune, or dancers, just talent from four excellent musicians.).
I saw then in uk in 1975....yep.. 3.5 hours...Best gig I ever went to.😊
I’m so jealous. They would have been amazing to see then
@@nigel274 в 75ом мне было 5 лет))
Every time I watch one of your videos I think "I love how you nerd out". Your expressions show how much you love figuring out every little detail of how the artist accomplish such amazing sounds...
Yes, the coordination between all members of the band but especially Robert (singer) and Jimmy (guitar) is spectacular. You can see in so many of their live performances how they use call and response back and forth with each other - much of it, I assume is improvised!!
That's why they are the greatest rock and roll band to ever exist. Great reaction. Please keep going. Studio, live, it doesn't matter. They are masters wherever they go.
There's also a great symbiotic relationship between Bonham and Plant that blows my mind.
Bonham and plant knew each other before the band was formed. Jimmy page was a session musician in his teens and JPJ was the real musician in the band playing Bass sometimes foot bass whilst playing the keyboards Jimmy page invented many guitar production methods including pedals. Many of their albums were recorded at Headley Grange a few miles from where I live.
One of the best vocalists ever. ❤
You cant explain it, there are no words. Zeppelin was visually , physically, and mentally life changing. Outstanding…! This woman looks like she’s in love…like all of us! Haha…shes needs a cold shower!
You are touching on the magic of the 4 most astute musicians/singer in rock, I’m tearing up watching this video (and your reaction) having seen this so many times over the past 45 or years. I’m a diehard Zeppelin fan and will go to my grave playing their music over and over in my mind…
Another great reaction video! Listen to current Robert Plant and realize he hasn't "blown" his voice and can still sing that big head of hair off. He's still so vocally expressive and can still dig into that wild range of his.
Just saw him and Allison Krause 2 months ago...Amazing!!
He lost his ability to hit certain notes by the mid 70s. You can see the transition happen on Physical Graffiti. Since then his voice is still the same. He can do all of the later Zeppelin stuff just fine. The earlier stuff he does differently, but not really much differently than he did in 1979.
@@patwilson2546 Agreed. And he’s aged more gracefully than a lot of rockers. His arrangements of Zeppelin songs played live now are just awesome.
@@garrygrasinski I never saw LKZ live but I did see Page twice and Plant three times. The last time I saw Plant was around 2005. He played one Zep song to one new one throughout the concert. The Zep songs he rearranged with a North African feel. it worked.
The interplay between Robert and Jimmy is simply amazing. Keep in mind much of this is just improvised on stage. And of course the backing can't be beat. Simply the best rock band ever.
If you followed them on tour, you'd never see the same show twice. Every show, every set list, every solo, and every vocal choice you hear is improvised on the spot. These guys went out there night after night and just JAMMED.
A friend that served In the Marines with me called me up and had gotten 4 tickets from a promotion. I flew up from Dallas and crashed at his place. His girl introduced me to her cousin. What a weekend. We had Saturday night tickets. 3 months later I flew her cousin to Dallas. Been married 50 years to the same damn women, and would do it over and over again.
Amazing story!
What a beautiful moment I have spent traveling to my childhood listening to Zepellin. Beth, you are the best! Thank you for this. The sharp sound that you mention is Robert's voice, the guitar is making a tremolo (mandolin type). Both Plant and Page were the pillars of this band. All his compositions revolved around the voice and the guitar. Page created great epic hard rock riffs.
Excellent reaction, thanks. The band members really played off each other, did a lot of improv during live performances.
If you want to explore Plant's voice more in-depth, I suggest also listening to studio versions (the first two albums have a lot of blues rock tracks). Keep in mind if you do that there was no auto-tune back then. Although you won't be able to see his muscle action, you'll hear some absolutely incredible singing, as well as musicians who were beyond compare. Page on guitar is something to behold, but Jones on bass/keys and Bonham on drums really held down the fort. ;)
Edit: As far as what type of rock music I like to listen to, it depends on my mood, of course. But Led Zeppelin has always been my "go-to". They were so diverse (blues, folk, English country, rock, punk, jazz, a bit of metal, etc.) and creative that one can set the needle at the start of an album and not have to lift it until it's over. They were no one-trick pony band like so many others, thus will hit all vibes. ;)
Great voice. Steel heart " I'll never let you go" this guy's voice hits some extreme highs. Love to see this.
Fascinating to watch a singing expert screw up her face when the camera switches from the vocalists abdomen to the 5-star lead guitarist. That is FOCUS! I love this so much in your reactions.
Your technical comments give a much clearer idea of the depths of Zeppeling s songs and unique skills of his members.Being an inconditional fan of Led Zeppeling i enjoy this video a lot .Thank you
It always amazes me the things I take for granted. My childhood was so steeped in Led Zeppelin, since my Dad was (and is) 60s and 70s music junkie. I sometimes forget that it is possible for people to not even be aware of the things I am so intimately familiar with. It truly shocked me when you said that Stairway to Heaven is the only Zeppelin song you know! Shocked and positively delighted, also. We all have such different childhoods and experiences. It is marvelous!
Consider that they had done this song as a standard staple in all of their live shows, there was a vast evolution of the guitar improvisation and the vocal embellishments from the studio version, correctly called sublime in another post. The band "grew together" in that no two performances could ever be exactly alike. They play in harmony taking cues from the others in a well-developed performance presentation that is easy to track over the years. This performance is a masterpiece but the studio version (and all live versions) make me cry EVERY time (I excuse myself because it IS the blues). I love watching your enthralled gaze while listening to it! You really can spot the best of one of the best performances of any group.
The way they match the guitarists and vocals into one has always intrigued me
I really enjoy this woman's blend of earnestness, enthusiasm, and curiosity. Great videos!
It’s not the stamina it’s the sheer excitement of that time… he gave it his all 69-71 . His vocals gave out in 72…
You know what's amazing (and crazy) about Robert Plant's vocals, If you watch the movie "Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same" right before this song he is smoking cigarette backstage. He was a smoker and was still able to perform for two three hours at a time
You have seen nothing yet! Tightest band ever! The studio is different and they never played the same song the same way. They were UNIQUE!! Absolutely improvised!
Amen to that, Julie... literally, thousands of hours of listening bliss..
This song will make you surrender, just makes you feel light n goose bumpy😊❤️ soon as heard LED ZEPPELIN I fell in Love!🔥
Watching you witnessing the magic that emerged when these four got together was really fun and I appreciated it a lot! It's just so good! Please do more Led Zeppelin.
Great Rock Bands were just different. It was a collaboration of exceptional musicians and the sound was always unique.
Great song. Love that you dropped your jaw on this one! For you THE Vocalyst you should stick with great singers in the Rock world. From Janis Joplin to Bruce Dickenson, Robert Plant and other big singers is a great place to start. Rock is bigger than you can imagine with all the variations in bands and styles. Cheers and keep having a great time exploring!
Jimmy Page on guitar definitely had control in this song. Roberts singing is very much in answer to Jimmys riffs. The bands background is American southern blues. The bass line and drums are holding the structure of the song together. Fab musicians.
By far one of the best and most powerful blues songs to ever exist.
I attended that MSG concert in '73, and again in '74 at MSG. To this day, the '73 show is the best concert of my lifetime.
This is my favorite Led Zeppelin song. I love the emotion that pours through this song
Yes listened to them since 1970 and they were so talented so many different kinds of music blues, jazz, rock and roll ,Evan some classical songs
You NEED to listen to EVERY Led Zeppelin song TODAY.....Led Zeppelin covers many genres....funk...country...folk...rock...reggae...swing...eastern...etc etc
Blues at its best. I first heard Led Zeppelin when I was in the army and very sick with pneumonia in a hospital. Someone had a tape recorder with a tape of Zeppelin in it. I borrowed it and played it non-stop for days, just mesmerized and dumbfounded (in a good way). I was 19 at the time.
Love your analysis and delightful personality! Your are beautiful inside and out.
Zeppelin never performed a piece the same way - they were master improvisers, constantly exploring. I don't believe Robert Plant used much in the way of traditional formalized vocal technique. I think it was all inspired energy, and deep immersion in the blues and rock traditions. This is among their greatest performances, but there are many more.
Page and Plant, “Since I’ve been loving you “, with the Egyptian Orchestra concert from the 1990’s was exquisite!
I love the way you follow music, moving your head and with your eyes...i do the same when I follow guitar playing.
True classic rock has feel and emotion. You don't get that with simple head banging rubbish.
This version of this song is my favorite guitar solo that Jimmy Page has ever done.
a "burst" of voice IS a singing skill and the tapering off is a part of that.
I was 14 when they did this...I saw them live in 76'77 and 78.....Just a surreal experience....I look at you guys now and just thi nk.....dang...you seriously hed to be there. t was ALL so new.
Watching someone meet literal rock gods for the first time is adorable.
Led Zeppelin greatest Band and Musician hands down EVER
Was blessed to have seen them in person twice..
THE GREATEST BAND EVER HANDS DOWN!!!!!❤😊
YES!!!! I remember well, gradulated that year! Just gets better over the years!!
Led Zeppelin have been blowing my mind since about 1972.
The BLUES................ Zeppelin style..!!!!!!!!! I love this band and this song. AND I so enjoy your channel. Thank you lady.............. Robert is/was a gifted vocalist AND Jimmy is a guitar master!!!! This band is one of a kind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take care
If you don't feel it after that, you have no feeling - Led Zeppelin doing the "beck and call" perfectly.
Zep. Never before. Never again. There is no substitute.
Thanks so much for your superb heart felt but technical analysis of the astonishing vocals of Robert Plant... I grew up listening to and sharing the awesome music of Led Zep and it still brings me to tears... Much love to all who share the magic!
Yes, I have always said that his voice is almost like having another instrument. Legendary!
I love to listen to anything Led Zeppelin and have for many years. I find something extraordinary every time I hear a song by them.
Zeppelin was the first band I would say was my favorite. I've been listening to them since before I started school, on vinyl and 8 track. At the time of this MSG show I was 6 weeks old. If you like drums, listen to Moby Dick live at Royal Albert Hall 1970. Bonzo was amazing, only 22 years old at that show. He was arguably the greatest drummer of all time, who knows how much better he could've gotten had he not died so young. I'm so grateful that recordings of their shows exist.
This is why they are bar none the greatest ROCK band of all time Led Zeppelin are the gods of ROCK ... speechless .
Best band ever. Favourite band of my father, I grew up listening to them and now that I am in my twenties I am appreciating their music more and more day after day. You can hear blues, soul, jazz, bossa, oriental music listening to Led Zepelin. Amazing.
It is very entertaining seeing people see my favourite band with fresh ears and eyes. The shock and awe is worth it.
If you listen to the original studio recording, the improv sound is exactly the same. I saw it live twice, and both performances were EXACTLY as like the live performance in 1973. It is so cool to see in your (very cute) face what I experienced in my soul in 1970's as a teenager hearing Led Zepplin, or Deep Purple, or Pink Floyd, or or or. I saw so many 70's concerts never moving a muscle and just sitting still being mesmerized by the musicianship and crazy vocalist of that era. I am a musician of 50+ years so I fully understand how incredible the 70's musicianship was. I really enjoy watching your reaction to MY Music :-) It is like seeing on someone's face, what you felt inside back in the day. Very Cool..
Since childhood, I started with Led Zeppelin and I will finish with them. The Vocalyst is an amazing woman. I LOVE HER!!!
Yes, that was his vocals that shriek at the end. No effects. He’s just that damn great
Jimmy had the techniques down , as a studio musician early in her s career proved its teachings in effect and pauses . The mastering of capturing each musicians sounds with 3 mics give them the depth . He was Led Zepplins mad scientist
