Jimmy Page's guitar is unearthly. Robert Plant's vocals are supernatural. John Bonham's drums are exalted. John Paul Jones keyboard mystical. Together, the band of the Gods.
Also, this is one of the best live blues performances of all time.

Oh, and in case anyone missed it, my favorite solo (the whole song is a solo basically) from James Patrick Page and that guy on the base is riding it to valhalla...oh, who is the guy pounding the skins back there...he's not the most creative incredible drummer of all time.....NOT. I use the same analogy. These guys and their music are masterpieces for eternity, just like the great masters on canvas.
I was sucked in the very first time I heared Led Zeppelin on norwegian broadcast back in the days before Christmas of 69. Dazed and confused was exactly what the state of mind this song left me. Dazed and confused. As a kid listening to my parents records of Vera Lynn, Bobby Bare and Jim Reeves, Led Zeppelins Dazed and Confused blew me in to a different universe.
Of course I bought every album they ever released because the albums were so diversified and ....I can't find my words to describe it.
Anyway, Since I've Been Loving You became my favourite song defining my years of youth. The subtle guitar on the vinyl is out of this world.

My very first concert ever was in Montreal Canada I lived in Plattsburgh New York on USA side. My brother took me then 14 across the border on his motorcycle and we went to see Led Zeppelin 1973 .it was a memory worth the restriction I was put in for the summer. And the butt beating received for sneaking out the house and crossing the international border. Of course we ended up busted coming across the border. Parents were called to come get us. Worth every tear I shed. And I do it again and and again and again. Something in life are just that AMAZING. thank you for reading my story.

Art is subjective of course, but you can see why Led Zeppelin is widely regarded as the greatest rock band of all time. Lead guitarist Jimmy Page is the mastermind that put the group together, wrote most of the music, and produced all the records by himself… however it is far from a one man band, each member is incredible. The crazy part is that there are over 50 more songs will amaze you like this one did. Every song from this concert (Madison square garden, June 1973) is worth checking out… great reaction, you are lovely, and I hope you keep going with Zeppelin, there are a lot of us who will join you, cheers :)

Robert Plant has this unique ability of using/approaching his vocal mike (as well as its stand) as if he were having an intimate moment or regular talk with a person. He uses this to give the songs this sense of depth and humanity, as oppose to treating the mike as a piece of technology. Quite fascinating... The Earls Court version of "Going To California" is another example of his using that mike approach...

You have been blessed by the presence of THE rock gods with this video! Led Zeppelin has ways of making a song be a transcendent experience for people. I remember a version of this video, probably taken from the entirety of the live performance (this one is partly live and partly clips so it has been edited), when you see the looks on the faces of a few people in the audience, and they are absolutely captivated by what they are hearing and seeing. One woman obviously was stoned out of her mind, but another woman looks serene at first and then suddenly like Robert Plant aroused her from dozens of feet away!
The funny thing is, and I can't exactly recall all the details, but several, if not all of the band, was up for a few days straight and jet lagged when they performed at Madison Square Garden. Absolutely sleep deprived. However, they gave the best freaking concert they could in that state of mind and it was purely magical, and hell, it's still talked about nearly 50 years later! If it wasn't being filmed, no one today would have known except the people in that audience.
One of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs that will blow your mind: "In My Time Of Dying" It's a spiritual experience with that heavy touch of good ol' blues!

The greatest band to ever grace the stage. To do Zeppelin right you need to start at the beginning. First song side one of Led Zeppelins debut album Led Zeppelin 1. Jimmy page produced all of the albums and he changed the way studio recordings were done. His masterful genius innovated 16 track recordings, reverse echo, reverb, added mics to amps, distortion, phasing, precision mic placement on the drums, acoustical recording studios not rooms. All of these things were never before done. So imagine hearing this first album in 1969 the overdubs the call and response, The thunderous drums and the precise instrumentation with 4 of the very best masterful musicians on the planet. Forever changed the way music was recorded, heard, and performed. Led Zeppelin influenced every band that followed and still does to this day. That's why I say start at the beginning then you will hear and feel the progression and total diversity of the band. There was literally nothing they could not do. And that becomes evident by the 3rd album. Each album unique and different. Remember we had to wait 6 month or a year before we could go buy the next led zeppelin album. So every day you played that record from begging to end. With each new song now becomes your new favorite. Until you hear the next track and your blown away again. This experience goes on throughout every album. In my opinion the anticipation, excitement and mind blowing eargasms you will have when you play full albums from start to finish the way Jimmy produced them to be heard. Give you the best understanding of just how much this band set the bar on the music screen. Timeless music that fills our soul. This journey is a long one. But after taking it you will never hear music the same. Here's my suggestion start with the first album studio versions. After that then do live recordings of tracks from that album. And repeat that throughout all their albums. By doing this you will see the masteries of the studio. Then the adlib of taking a 3 minute song into a one of a kind 30 minute live performance. Every live performance the songs changed. There shows would go from 2 hours to 3 1/2+ hours long . Literally a jam session that featured all 4 members equally taking the music in any direction they wanted without missing a beat. When you hear Dazed and confused live specifically from 1973 MSG. You will witness the best live recording that has ever been made in the history of live performances by any band from any era. I cannot wait to follow you down this rabbit hole. I love your heart felt reactions and this journey will change your life. Every day I still after 50 years start my day with getting the Led out. Never gets old. I can't wait to see how it effects you.🤘🤘🤘

Watching you experience that for the first time was an experience for me in itself. Some songs and performances by Zeppelin can’t be put into words. The music made in that era will remain unmatched. Takes you on an emotional and spiritual joy ride. Zeppelin found a way to tap into your soul. Same with Sabbath, Hendrix, etc. Zeppelin was extremely special and unique.

John Bonham was one of if not the greatest drummers of all time. He passed away in 1980 and it was so devastating to the band they decided not to continue. Thats how important he was to Led Zeppelin and their iconic sound

I just subscribed. Wow I have never seen such an emotional reaction as yours to this song. I grew up in the 70s and saw Zeppelin in 77. Its so cool seeing such a beautiful soul as you loving this song. Their live performances were out of this world especially the indoor shows such as this legendary Madison Square Garden concert. This is the kind of music we of this era grew up with, not only Led Zeppelin the greatest rock band in the world but so many other classic bands and songs. Please keep reacting to Zep, there are so many great songs. One you will love is a song called "Thank You" and also "Ten Years Gone"... Love from the Bay Area, California

Love love love Led Zeppelin 😍Thank you so much for your wonderful reaction to my absolute favorite song with Robert Plant 👍😊Zeppelin are fantastic to experience live, saw them a few times in the 70s, but this particular song from this concert I think is not as good as the studio version where Robert Plant puts so much more emotion into the song, so you can't help but cry. I think you should give it a try 😍👍

I have been a fan since 1969, and if you want to be blown away, i suggest you review Kashmir from their last consert wich wasn´t planned, but they did it because they wanted to honour their old label boss, Ahmet Ertegun who died. The band was dissolved in 1980 because the drummer John Bonham died, and they could not continue, because John was to importen for the band. He was at that time considered as the best drummer in the world, so replasing him was impossible. So what you see in this video is his son, Jason. This is absolutly the best version of K ever! 20 million people tried to get a consert ticket to that consert. The consert is of course on RUclips

I can totally understand your reaction. When most of us first saw and heard the song - we were in awe. They poured so much of their beings into their music. Half way through the song when you look like you lost your mind - I began to weep. We miss John Bonham, the drummer, so much.
So elated that you're elated. These guys ruled the 1970s - they outsold the Rolling Stone, The Who, The Grateful Dead and even Elvis Presley.
This song was recorded July 27th, 28th or 29th in 1973 at Madison Square Garden. ❤
