Thank you so much. You explained it in a way where I completely understood everything that you where saying and could follow along with my own chi square test
hello, i have some zeroes in my table, so i cannot run the chi square test, can you help? idk what to do, have a dissertation due on monday thanks @eleven bottles
Hi, presumably you mean you have zeros in your "observed values" table. That shouldn't be a problem unless it causes to to have too many low (less than 5) "expected values". It's not really a problem about the spreadsheet, more about the conditions for the test, so I suggest you read up on the theory behind it. One thing you could do is to combine rows and/or columns that only have a few responses, but I can't help much without more information.
Thank you! Sorry to tell you that, if the two values aren't the same, then you've probably made a mistake in the formulas, and you'll have to check each one. Sorry!
That's more about the test methodology that the spreadsheet. If an observed value is 0 it might not be a problem, but if an expected value is 0 then there might be a problem with your data collection. You should probably just ignore the row/column of the table which has nothing in it.
Thank you! I needed to understand this test for some statistics I need in my master's thesis. This video made it possible for me to perform and understand the chi test. I have one question though, do you recommend any alternative to chi test for tables bigger than 2x2, which have observed values lower than 1? I cannot find anything that I could do in Excel.
thank you sir. three years later and you are saving my grade!
No joke you saved my IA! Thank you so much!
Glad to be of help, Max. Hope you get a good grade!
THANK YOU SO MUCH, you have single handedly saved me from failing physics, if I ever get into my dream school I will come back and thank you 😃!!!
Thank you so much. You explained it in a way where I completely understood everything that you where saying and could follow along with my own chi square test
My pleasure, George! I'm glad that you found it helpful.
Hello, thank you for the video. What about if the test statistics check is not the same as the one found before. What should I do?
Literally thanks alot
I am trying to find the p value from last 1week
You made it possible for me
Thankyou so much❤
I'm so glad I found this. Thank you for posting! It all makes sense now!
Glad that you found it useful, Nicole!
Thank you SO much! I have been working on my IA and this video was so helpful. Really appreciate it!
Glad to be of help!

Glad to be of help, Samara. And that's quite an honour!
Wanna send me your IA😂😂
Wow you are such a good English native speaker!!!
Hello, I have a 2x2 table and was wondering if you could elaborate on the correction you mentioned.
this was really helpful! but my p-value is 0 so when I tried to check if it was correct it showed an error, what do I do there?

I can't thank you enough for this video.
can you explain the calculation you did when you created the expected table?
Thanks... Proper explanation.... You made my day easy
Thank you- very helpful video! what happens if the p-value in the "check" is different?
Thank you! Sorry to tell you that, if the two values aren't the same, then you've probably made a mistake in the formulas, and you'll have to check each one. Sorry!
THANK YOU!! it helped me so much!!!
This video helped a ton! Thank you so much !
Glad it was useful, Mohammad!
Hi there. I've tried this, however, I have some observed value cells that have the value of 0. Since I cannot divide by 0 what should I do?
What if one Of the numbers is zero?
