    In 2014, the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the New England Patriots in week 4 of the NFL schedule in a game that would later be dubbed "The Arrowhead Massacre."
    This game was dominated by Alex Smith and the Chiefs as they easily knocked off Tom Brady and the Patriots by a score of 41-14. After the game many questioned whether this was the end of Tom Brady and the Patriots dominance in the NFL.

    ***CORRECTION***
    1. At times during the video I referred Kansas City as "Kansas". Yes I did know that KC is in both Missouri and Kansas but didn't know you always had to stay it as Kansas City. That's on me! Thought you could say Kansas for short. Kind of like how New Yorkers just say "I'm from NY" and not New York City. Anyways, my bad. Chalk it up to me being your neighbour from up north, hehe
    2. Yes I accidentally read KC receiver as David Bowe when I had it written as Dwayne Bowe.
    3. And yes, I do recognize Tom as the GOAT but that he's had some things go his way. (tuck rule, Pete Carroll... and of course, Gisele)

      Oooooo boy I heard "Kansas" and was on fire. I paused the vid ready to type a long ass comment. Thanks for clarifying, at all. Some of us KC Missourians take it too personal (ME). I wonder if St. Louis, MO people feel the same about St. Louis Illinois.
      I edited this. (Now I know the right name is East St Louis, I'm from KCMO and it hurt me to mess up y'all name, I know the feeling. My b.)

      @@StuntzMcKenzy2D haha that's exactly why I'm here. For the record though no one counts kck. It's just Kansas City, Missouri. It's only a big deal because of how much Kansas mooches off of Kansas City.

      @ClasherSports  3 года назад +9

      @@StuntzMcKenzy2D lol sorry.. it really sticks with people down there i guess. just to clarify, so I know Kansas City sits on the border of Missouri/Kansas.. just the Missouri side is called Kansas City and the Kansas state side is referred to as Kansas, Kansas state?

    • @StuntzMcKenzy2D
      @StuntzMcKenzy2D 3 года назад +8

      @@ClasherSports we usually say KCK (Kansas City, Kansas) and KCMO (Kansas City, MO). Both are Kansas City but most of things the rest of the country references are on the MO side Royals, Chiefs, music/media, culture. Even though KS has the soccer team and race track Also we have a lil bit of a border war historically and KU vs MU.

    Man, thanks for the throwback memories. I remember that season, it was also some of the toughest personal year I’ve had. Watching Brady growing up and how he bounced back that season served as huge source of personal motivation. I don’t think I’m where I am today without it. Thanks for giving the opportunity to relive some moments.
    As a side: first time watching your video. Love how often you respond to your viewers. As a token of appreciation here is my opinion, you are a great guy who humbly gives your opinions in fear of backlash. Be confident, talk about your thought process and it’s just your opinion. There is no need to defend against haters, while they can be right occasionally it’s just not worth your time as you have little to gain.

    People don’t understand what happened say “Brady threw 3 picks in the NFC games against Greenbay and still came out on top.” No it was not his luck. You have to understand first Bruce Arian play calling is “no risk it no biscuit” downfield oriented and his quarterbacks are going to throw more picks. Against the chiefs the bucs did much more run and play action which is Brady’s style and he threw no picks. Second, all 3 picks came after the huge lead and it was thrown to great field position. One thing people continue to underestimate Brady on is the understanding of the game. You can quote things like 2-3 picks in a championship game but you can never point out a critical game which he was the factor that caused the loss. He simply makes good decisions all the time, unlike Rogers who’s throw cost him the last NFC Championship.

They drafted him high in the 2nd round that year(just like Jalen Hurts) and Tom was told to go out and perform with a brand new high pick QB breathing down his neck. Arguably it was worse for Tom, since he was 37 and felt the pressure from the outside world to see him fail to play past 40 at the time. This is what makes him great, he was able to put all this negative mental stuff past him and just simply perform greater than everyone else at his darkest hour. It ultimately became his finest hour.

    This season is what made me a patriots fan. When all the kids at school were saying how the Seahawks were going to dominate the Patriots, that it wasn't even going to be a competition. It annoyed me so much I decided I was going to root for the Patriots, obviously didn't turn out too well for those kids lmao.

    Look at the fans here. Just a few years later on and I can't say "Redskins" no more. But these fans can chant like a Indian all day. When Natives didn't even do that. Don't get me wrong, just hypocrisy.

      It's because Redskin is a slur and chief is not

      @@iamnotjcook because it's offensive. My point being, how is what those fans were doing not offensive as well. It's a pick and choose world.

      I’m native (Choctaw) and I don’t see “red skin” as a knock. When I get out in the sun my skin gets pink but doesn’t burn....
      I turn red.

      @@Zman82 it's celebration over a name. You don't see the n word being put on billboards, but people listen to black music and use phrases that originate from them, sometimes erroneously like the chant at arrowhead does for natives, but there's no affront to anyone by chanting vs a literal racial slur on the team.

    I’m from Springfield, MO and went with my friends. Monday night football and Arrowhead broke the record for noise. I was wearing a Pats hat. It was a three hour ride home. My friend was so drunk that he told me he was going to “write a letter to Mr. Kraft about how he could operate the offense”. I was on the ~43 yard line about seven rows up. Go Pats!

    All I can say is that "It's good being a Boston sports fan"... Most sports fans can't even begin to imagine how AWESOME these past 2 decades have been. I don't even know how many Championship parades I've been to since 2001.
