Sanding an Engineered Hardwood Floor to Remove Dog Scratches

In this video, we are sanding an engineered hardwood floor, with a top veneer consisting of maple wood. It is 1/8+ inch thick and can be sanded safely. While it has the aluminum oxide coating from the factory, which is the toughest out there, a Labrador was able to scratch it up over the span of 10 years. In this video, we remove the dog scratches and recoated with Bona Traffic HD for its superior scratch resistance properties. This is a 2-component commercial grade protective floor finish known for its durability and scratch resistance.
