- Should you buy the Apple Watch Ultra 2? I recently bought it, and in this video I review many of the new exclusive features on the new Apple Watch Ultra, and compare it to the specs of last year's model. I really like the new features on the latest Apple Watch Ultra, and I give my opinion on whether this watch is worth buying.

@22jeepmojave75 yeah, reading the text on screen hasn’t been an issue for me on my Apple Watch Ultra in any light. I’ve never heard of, or encountered this issue before. That’s why I’ve no info on whether Apple fixed it…

Do you think it’s a good watch for marathon runners? I have the iPhone 15 and last years iPad, but have not had a Apple Watch
Hey. Marathons were actually one of the reasons why they made it. The idea is that the additional battery life will allow you to track your marathon. The standard Apple Watches don’t have a big enough battery to go the distance. So it should be great for a marathon.
I upgraded from the series 6 to the 1st gen ultra and I absolutely love it. Only thing, I miss having a smaller watch for formal occasions so last month I picked up the series 9 which is really great also.. it’s nice having the best of both worlds 👍🏻
Nice! Yes, I totally get that the ultra is more rugged and less formal. But I haven’t looked back once since I got it. I’ve some more formal bands that I throw on when I need to. Otherwise I like to keep that more rugged look!

The modular watch face works on the Ultra 1 too.
Yeah, the modular face is on both. But my understanding is that the modular ultra watch face requires the S9, and is only available on the Ultra 2.
Does the apple watch ultra trail band absorb alot of water/sweat?
I haven’t put it to the test with sweat yet 😅😅 but it deals with water very well. It doesn’t hold it for very long, and it dries out pretty quickly after a shower.

I came from a Series 6 myself, that I bought new to this Ultra 2 model and this is my 1st Apple Watch with Cellular Connectivity so it’s really going to come in handy at times when either my iPhone 13’s battery is running very low, or should I forget to bring it outdoors with me! While this thing might have its drawbacks when compared to the likes of Garmin’s smartwatches, it seems to be more than enough for me (for now anyway), and it’s built like a Tank, compared to the Aluminium case of my last Apple Watch! So I nearly was going to get a Series 8 in Stainless Steel, I’m glad I still waited long enough for this one!
Nice! Yeah, I found the Ultra to be a massive leap forward from the Series 6 too. i LOVE it! In Ireland, we don’t have compatibility for the cellular option though 😔 hopefully one day! Then I’d really break my over reliance on my iPhone 😅😅
