- The CZ BREN 3 is the third generation of the extremely popular CZ BREN select-fire family, which is currently used by the Czech army, as well as by other armed forces around the globe that include the French anti-terrorist unit GIGN, the Mexican Federal Police, the Portuguese Air Force, and the Hungarian Armed Forces.
The CZ BREN 3 comes in 5.56 × 45 NATO and 300 AAC Blackout calibers. High accuracy and double the service life is ensured by its chrome-lined hammer forged barrel. The extraction of combustion gases is adjustable with a 3-position selector knob, which improves the function of the rifle when using a suppressor or adapting to adverse conditions.
Fully ambidextrous AR-Style controls include a 45-degree safety lever (safe, single shot, full-auto), magazine release, and bolt catch/release located on the left side of the receiver and also inside the trigger guard. You can choose from a fixed or folding charging handle on both sides of the receiver.
The standard version of the CZ BREN 3 comes with a folding, 4-position telescopic polymer stock, although a 4-position PDW stock is also available. Its extended forend features an M-LOK interface for mounting a wide range of accessories, such as sights, flashlights, laser markers, and more.
A total of 7 QD attachment points - 2 front and 5 rear - allows for a more personalized attachment of a rifle sling.

Never owned a Bren but a 300 Blackout 7in with a tucker suppressor looks awesome.
I hope they offer it. The collapsable stock 7in is currently only 556. I'd prefer 300 bo tho.

@MarketAndChurch just buy a 300 and a 5.56 then just swap the stocks on them. That simple and also this way you end up with 2 guns. Much better.

I thought the bren 2 in 762x39 would be the ultimate platform for the cartridge. Sold mine during the plandemic (for a small mint) I actually liked my 12" VZ58 better, but the PWS mk111 mod 2 is the best 762x39 platform ( Duramags only!) I have the old style JP captured spring, most steel case can be fired on setting 2 gas and the recoil impulse is fast but soft some how.
@@almaadams3631 I like your style lol. Love 12" VZs, now on a PWS MK114 5.56 with a 7.62 MK111 upper. The PWS guns will chew through just about any ammo.
@@ProLapsRacing If you have the cash ( Lord knows we are all a little "short" the last 4 years) buy the Colt 6762 EPR.
I had a titanium ×39 firing pin and Xtra power hammer spring
in my "parts bin". Colt is using their 90s formula: .135 bolt depth and matching extractor( same as PWS, although the were smart enough to borrow it from Colt)
1 in 12 twist and a
.125 gas port/carbine length. This combo is sublime as well but only comes in 16".
As for VZ58s: RS regulate Zukov stock adapter and scope sidemount( they are on stock now)Bonesteel forend. Primary arms 2× prism( SLX? older model)

Portugal is already using the CZ BREN 2 in the Air Force SOF Land forces, NOTP, and inf I got is we're already buying CZ BREN 3 to equip it and phase out for good (would be used by other forces) the H&K G36 KV/KE. We'll start to receive them soon, also in small numbers so I guess czech armed forces will even notice less 100 or even 200 if we would go crazy, as they told they would fully equip their army first and only latter would sell the Bren 3 to third parties, but as usual nothing is just Black and White.
CZ released a solid banger with this one. Shame the pistol grip isn't customizable. Think I should wait for another Evo model.

@@rossg4788it'll get here eventually. Same was true with Bren 1 and 2 but once they freed up capacity from their mil cuddles they came to civilian market. Given Ukraine probably won't end anytime soon, it may be awhile

They also created kits to also modernize for the same effect the Sub.Machine gun H&K MP5.

Probably yes, but sometime in 2026 at the earliest. Bren 3 is exclusively intended for the army and other armed forces, I like it too, but people from CZ told me that first they have to cover the needs of the army and it is very hungry for now. Bren 3 is the result of tests from the war in Ukraine.

як оператор брен 2 я хотів би звернути увагу на низьку відмовостійкість даного автомата, а трохи не чищений і ми отримуємо подвійне втикання, трохи брудний магазин і затвор кне стає в заднє становищі при закінченні патронів а ще слабка кнопочка на прикладі бісить

It is coming out in 7”, 11.5”, 14.5”, and 16.5” in 5.56.

you have one in 11'5" no reason for a 12'5'". And I surely agree it's stupid to fire 5.56 from a 7" barrel even in very short CQC combat, I'd rather use the 300 blk in the same 7" size.

I prefer the czech FN. And my country's Army SIR is the SCAR L. Navy, Marines only, H&K416A5. AIr Force SOF, NOTP, CZ BREN 2 and we're already buying CZ BREN 3 to fully phase out H&K G36 KV/KE still used by them. We were told we'll receive them very quickly (not a great batch of them, maybe 100 or less). Yeah but our Armed Forces interoperability and logistics are just fugging stupid, three branches, 4 weapons (the G3 still arms regular navy and Regular Air force Military Police mixed with some G-36 KV/KE, so really in total 5 issued different weapons, not considering newer 7.62x51mm rifles for all branches as DMR/SSR, Airforce Land component and Navy the H&417A2, Army, except Tier 1 with 417A2 and G28's, SCAR H/H-PR - another logistic dumb choice)
Пробывали наши специ этот автомат на СВО. Возможно старая генерация, но это больше гражданское, слабое, дешовое оружие. Максимум для армии мирного времени. Для тяжелых условий не годится. Алюминий трется по стали в затворной группе...
