I like the Centennial game sweater, and yes I agree it should be all gold socks, it is a massive oversight on those. The Bruins do have their inaugural sweaters (the all brown with one or two yellow stripes) only on sale at TD garden in their pro shop. I've only seen a picture of one in a Facebook jersey group but it was beautiful. Definitely should have wore those for the game.
What you forgot to mention is the fact that Cam Neely is the Bruins GM and could be why the Centennial game jersey may be heavily based on the 1974-1995 road jerseys. Now if you want to be more historically accurate, what they should be wearing should look more like what they wore in the 2016 Winter Classic except for swapping out the black for brown and maybe getting rid of the sleeve numbers. If they really wanted to complete the look they could have gone with tan/beige pants as well.
There was a claim, we think we're going to beat it, we know we got it legitimately, but it's not something we want to keep messing with. So we're trying something new. I think it'll grow on us
The yellow sleeves makes it look like a black t-shirt to me. To even suggest Les Habitat wear an Anglo jersey is blasphemous! (Lol). Nice review of this one off. New opening will take some getting used to, or is it a one and done like the B's jersey?
I really like that Boston jersey, shame Montreal aren't resurrecting the Maroons jersey for one game as well. But yep, will not be paying $600 for a jersey no matter how nice it is or much I want it!!
To charge that much money you better have something unique not a rehash (albeit lame rehash only changing the sleeve) of what you’re already wearing. Seems like a cash grab.
WTF opening?!? 🤯🤯🤯
Wooooooah, new start sequence! 😮
Johns jokes were actually pretty clever on this episode. Blazing Saddles references always get me 😂

Babe, wake up, new U3 intro theme just dropped
I laughed at this far harder than I should admit
I like this jeresy alot but if the rumors of it becoming the main home jersey next season are true I'll be really bummed I love their current look
I like the jersey I'm hoping to get one!
Why is Phil always a mile from the mike?
They switched from yellow socks to black socks when Adidas took over
Yep, a proper casualty of the Adidas era. Still blew my mind that the first time the team had EVER worn black socks was with that third jersey
I respect you guys trying something new with the opening but the old one is so much better. Did the old song get copyrighted?

Why do you guys not have a longer show or a podcast yet?
You want MORE of us?! Who hurt you?! 🤣
@ you guys did, when you smashed my dreams of ever hearing more fun conversation about NHL and other hockey jerseys. 😭😭😭
It's such a visual medium though! I can't show patch stitching texture through a podcast!
@@uglythirds those are some of my favorite videos.
Bruins should have worn replicas of their first jersey in team history instead of creating something new.

Love the look for Boston, but yea it just feels a bit like another Boston jersey, it doesn't feel particularly special.

@@stuartrogers5807 If I'm paying that much, it's going to be a gamer and not a retail jersey.
$600 and the Fanatics logo on it doesn't pair together well for me lol
@@JPbruv In about 8 weeks, you'll be able to buy 12 Adidas jerseys for $600 as they try and sell off the last of their inventory.

Totally have the option to just not buy it, and only buy it if you want it.😊
That opening was... God damn y'all 🤣
Side note, a racist ass Fandom like Boston "looking to the past" is very on brand
