    Great video buddy. My 2011 6.7l has at least 2 to 3 inches of free play when it's running. I imagine it'll feel like a new truck again after driving it like this for 3 years. I can't wait to tear into mine. Thank you for the video buddy. I gave this video a GIGANTIC THUMBS UP.👍

    Just dug into my 2011 F350 crewcab long bed mine has same stering box. I need to get an alen wrench that fits in that space. I sprayed down with seafoam penterating oil. We will see what happens tomorrow. Hopfully it will break loose tomorrow.

    I have a 2015 f550 I also don’t have that. I have a plastic cap on top. I removed it and it has a sealed cover with a c clip.

    I have a 2013 F550 6.7 and it doesn't have those 4 bolts with adjustment screw in the middle.

    The nut holds the Allen key bolt into place? So to make the steering wheel have less play you tighten up the Allen key nut, right?

    Left or right to tighten?did you turn the allen or the open wrench? How do you know when to stop?

    I have play in the steering wheel and it’s crooked when I drive . Even after an alignment. Will this help the crooked steering wheel?

    • @bubbasfabrication
      @bubbasfabrication 7 месяцев назад +1

      Your alignment shop should have straightened your wheel. The adjustment for the wheel is on the tierod closer to the passenger side of the truck.
      The gear box will only tighten things up it will not center the wheel.

    Hi, do you know if this would solve a wandering issue? My truck seems to wander on certain roads above 50/60 mph. Thanks for the vid!

      It could. I replaced my steering stabilizer shock and tightened my steering and it helped a lot !
