    I don't think the people want this to end. Maybe it's just me but this is easily one of my favorite segments

      Since they pulled crowds during the pandemic I've pretty much get most of my wrestling through them, and these segments are definitely awesome. Their love and knowledge of wrestling is more entertaining to listen to than 90% of traditional media (TV, radio, movies...).

      Agreed! Love hearing the match rundowns on the old shows. I wish Brian would go for more 70’s/early 80’s stuff. Lately it’s been too much 50’s & earlier, but pretty sure that’s mainly what Brian’s been collecting recently

      As much as I love to hear how much modern wrestling has dropped the ball every week, Guess The Program is still the best listen in podcasts

    I love when Jim gets magnificently stumped and somehow has the explanation for the card, its year and the location...that he didn't know.

    That first card Brian had was so stacked but some of those guys were quite old. Thesz was 52/53 at the time! Lol

    When Jim is not giving some of the best Pro Wrestling booking and
    schooling. Programs like this, segments. Is very popular with me. I really
    like these games and I sincerely hope there are more to come in the future.

    Since 2 years I'm an avid listener to the podcast and only watch wrestling matches when Jim explicitly recommended them or they were so ridiculous that they got quite a lot of buzz on Twitter.
    I have basically no idea what happened before the 2000s in the wrestling business but I still love to listen to the both of you because you manage to make almost everything sound interesting and entertaining.

    I've been listening to the podcast pretty much since Brian came on board and these Guess the Program segments are hands down my favourite bits of content Jim & Brian have done. Would love an omnibus of the ones to date & for it to be a consistent feature going forward!

      This segment doesn't work outside context of the territories. You can guess the year, but that's not particularly interesting. And both Jim and Brian didn't particularly pay a lot of attention during that period.

    I love this segment! You could do an entire "Guess The Program" podcast for 3 hours and I'd never miss an episode! Better this than reviewing crappy AEW programs.

      He was the Grand Wizard in the WWWF houses and Abdullah Farouk when managing the Sheik in Detroit/Toronto. At the same time. The Apter magazines would show both in the same issues.

    23:15 So I looked up Hogan Wharton and it gave me a football player of the same name who was relatively good and a small stub on the “Pro-Wrestling Fandom Wiki”, who’s birthdate and death date are the same. All it says in his entry is “Hogan Wharton is an American professional wrestler”

    Well Jim sounds better. I know he said he’s been sick and so has everybody else to. I been vaccinated and still caught covid but i gotta say it’s not affected us near as bad as my family that didn’t get vaccinated. They ended up in the hospital with it but for us it’s just been like having a mild flu.
