Listening to Jim cornette talk about old wrestling is better than actually sitting down to watch wrestling now
How cool to have programs from the 40’s with fans leaving notes on quality of matches. Amazing.
Guess the Program is my favorite bit they do.
I agree, Gordon Solies trivia is good too
@@Wolfpax82 Absolutely!
Mine as well, every now and again i even get 1 right...
I love listening to this b/c you get to hear Jim's knowledge of Wrestling going back to really the dawn of it. Gordon Solies trivia is a lot of fun to listen to as well for the same reasons and sometimes I know the answer lol Now as a comedy bit, Hogan's Beach shop updates are pretty damn funny.
Mine too
I love listening to the Jim Cornette clips after a rough night!! They always give me a good laugh and some fun wrestling knowledge!!
Jim Cornette is Incredible with his Recollection of Professional Wrestling …
I just can't imagine anyone talking so affectionately about today's wrestling in 50 years time. I've already forgotten who was on last week's AEW show.
Never underestimate nostalgia.
Cos AEW is donkey turd and not professional wrestling.
Nostalgia is crazy. People were claiming the last ten years of wwe sucked at the time but would rather that than what they have now at the time. About 500k people are obsessed with AEW so they'll definitely talk affectionately about it.
Just like today’s comic books, music, and movies.
@Paul Adams - Daniel Garcia was on last week's AEW show [very high probability of being perpetually correct].
If I remember correctly, Blassie was a salesman at a Plymouth dealership, not his own dealer. The cutoff age for athletic commission licensure was 56, not 55, which was a standard age in a number of states.
Brian did pretty good. I feel like Jim picks trickier ones when he's being the host.
Being from GA, being a kid at the twilight of the career of Blassey.. I can tell you he was much much more than an old man manager..
He is still on a throne down here .. down here in Atlanta, Georgia baybay!!
I remember my dad talked about back in the '60s that Freddie blassey stop by Cedartown Georgia a few times at some wrestling events he said he used to call everybody there pencil that geeks. Which he called everybody pencil neck geeks. LOL
Bussies?! 🤦🏾♂️😂😂
Bussies used cars 👀
I know it's supposed to be Blassies, but I'm happier thinking it spells Bussies
Any time Jim and Brian do wrestling trivia is great shit!
Good shit pal!
You're half right...
Bussy's Used Cars
Used cars that posses a bussy or used cars that come with complimentary bussy
The crazy thing is Paul Heyman in his brilliance attempt to warn people in 2001 public pipe bomb on smackdown and predicted Vince's future.
@studio732jrl2 good observation
I look forward to these!
So much more fun then Orange Cassidy's entrance music.
Classy Freddie Blassie.
Need to start doing programs from the 80s onwards to give the rest of us a chance
"Enrique Torres" is Clouseau in disguise...
Love this game but would love to hear more 70's-80's card.
Bussies ? 😂😂
I enjoy it when you guys give your thought process, and thank you for the videos 👍🤟
This is why l think jim cornette's drive thru is the best wrestling podcast today. Better than Austin's.
What?
The reason l believe jim cornette's drive thru is the best wrestling podcast today it's because it not only offers a perspective on the business of pro wrestling today, it also entertains and educates on what constitutes good pro wrestling and bad pro wrestling, at the same time that educates us all on the history of pro wrestling by giving information on past superstars, promoters, territories and other things of historical interest. Other wrestling podcast like Austin's; are more focused on interviews and analisis of today's wrestling topics and personalities and aren't willing to give solid, unbiased reviews for fear of negative reactions from fans who believe that the stile of wrestling that they like is the best ever and that anyone who says otherwise is wrong. That's why we need a jim cornette and a brian last to tell things as they are and not as we want them to be.
If "The Great" Brian Last will accept _ANY_ challenge, then how about he competes in the "Show Your Face" challenge? There seems to be a single photo of the man from 1999 with no music industry or investment related Linked Ins or articles or professional profiles. The man is a ghost.
Brian Last and his wife live in Brian's parents' house in New Jersey.
He never worked in the music industry, and he has no job outside of doing stuff like pro wrestling podcasts.
Brian's wife is the one who works 9-to-5, and supports her family.
No one ever mentions Blassie doing a cameo on an episode of the Dick Van Dyke Show.
You just did.
A few of the Von Erich boys were born in Upstate New York and unfortunately Jack Jr. passed away near Niagara Falls in Upstate New York. So I could see why Fritz would be called that.
Yes almost an hour this is going to be epic.
This is a education of past cards
There really wasn’t much else to do in Omaha. I found that out when I lived there, albeit 60 years later. It’s in the middle of nowhere. Hunt, fish, milk cattle, toss cowturds.
I need to head to Bussies Used Car to get a new Fanny
love these segments
I love when they do this,, I really miss the in the news segment they used to do...I always found those so interesting
27:03 we know, we know.....LOL.... we actually are the 'middle' of no where, no where else in any direction for 200 miles...
Irish Jack Kennedy? 1953? Dallas? That’s a little Erie given What happen to JFK in Dallas in 1963 in Tx. He was frequently referred to as Jack
Jim Brown was on that Syracuse team. There were other pros as well…
Being the middle of nowhere is not an insult, many people prefer that, I do
Best ever segment
I think the next time the play this game, they trade back and forth. Jim reads and bryan guesses and then they switch
classic rubbing tape in the eyes spot
Favorite segment ever :)
It was brilliant really, if you knew you could beat 90% of the other wrestlers and made friendships with as of them who could beat you as possible. It's ignoble, sure, but nowhere near as much as post territorial locker room politics.
Bussies Used Cars
Thank you for putting respek on NYS
00:25 - "wild card bitches!"
is that an Always Sunny reference?
Radio calls of the wrestling matches.
Now you can't even get people to watch the shit they do these days with color awesomeness in 65" full HD right from their home
Guess the program is my favorite thing you do.
Even I knew who Jack Adkisson was :)
"Dick Beyer, known to fans in the Midwest as Dr X.".....and to Debbie Harry too!
Bussies?!?!?!
That's what I'm saying
Please do more of this and less AEW reviews.
Agreed.
Why the censorship
RUclips rules. If you curse within the first 15 seconds(I may be off on the exact time) you risk getting the video de-monetized. After that, you don't need to bleep. I assume you're talking about the bleep of "Wildcard, B******!"
@@john_blues nah that was not bussies….
Hehe... Willy Love.
Did he just say…? 🤨
What episode does Jim talk about Roe vs Wade?
Episode 437. It never got a separate clip.
Bussies
So, who is going to carry all the knowledge of bygone times when Mr. Cornette kicks the proverbial bucket?
We needn't worry; he won't go until Russo dies first.
Can you do this once a month
I knew a few of these . I love guess the program
ROSEMARY MY HIVE QREEN and the bunny is the best lmpact wrestling and the monster abyss and crazzy Steve
Just when you think you know a thing or 2 about wrestling history because you grew up in the 80's....... And then you listen to these 2 🤷🏾♂️
& realize you don't know shit
Bussie? 👀
Do these guys fallow aew dark
they will love this name
Jake Something that's the actual last name they went with
could you imagine Fargo VS Something lol unfortunately Jake is not bad yes he is not good but he's not totally crap and Excalibur going Something on the top rope. Something kick out Something poison RANA ...dosen't help this kid at all I said what the shit yo.
AEW didn't come up with that name. He got that name while working for IMPACT! He's also wrestled on the indie scene with it
well then creative at aew should have changed his name or he should have changed his own name or at least have the self-worth to tell someone at IMPACT fuck no I don't think that a good name idea for me.
Pal
The septuagenarian entrepreneur
Guess The Program is one of the few enjoyable parts from his podcast.
It’s Time Once Again Ladies & Gentlemen for One of the Best Segments that Cornette & Last do on either show…….
LET’S PLAY…
GUESS
THE
PROGRAM
WITH
JIM CORNETTE &
BRIAN LAST!!
Brian sucks at this lol Jim is so much better.
Finally something cornette is good at
Trash.
You have two videos on your channel, and both are five seconds of a fat guy screaming at a camera.
Brian is a Haole
Imagine playing guess the program in 30 years and trying to guess if card is from WWE 1993 or Impact 2010, or WWE/AEW. Would be impossible
Not gonna lie, it's a little sad how excited I get for Guess The Program
I would but this ain't it
Gatekeeper Cornette... covering for Vince Mcmahon
I think Brian is a Jew.
He is
@@emperorburton Nothing wrong with that.
I think Corney is an atheist. No doubt a communists and probably a stooge for the illuminate.
@@ThomasMiddlehurs1984 He's definitely an Atheist, Democrat and closet racist....but I love his stories.

CONGRATULATIONS... for being first you win... ABSOLUTELY SWEET FUCK ALL... had you been 2nd or 3rd you would have won.. NOT A DAMN THING
🏆
Nobody gives a fuck.
Worst part of the podcast besides when brian talks
I believe this bit has run its course, guys... I skip it every time now.
Guess the program is easily the most interesting and fun part of the show.
@@Jayzon666 I disagree
@@dougdaniels1242 You're free to do that, but you're wrong.
@@Jayzon666 nuh uh you're wrong
Is this where we're headed?

Omaha was huge since the manifest destiny expansion. People would host physical exhibitions as towns were popping up across the United States.
