Been coming here for the last 8 years when it was only £7.99. Visited last week and price has gone up to £11.99 but the quality is just as good as before . Menu dishes have not changed at all but with such a large selection compared to other Indian buffets its excellent value. My favourite is Tandoori Chicken Leg just like the piece you had. Hope you come back again when you free.

Gary - we went here last weekend off the back of your recommendation and it was 10/10 and incredible value for money! Keep up the good work, will be sure to follow your journey!
A pal of mine told me that when he was a working musician up in Leeds at the end of the night you went to the local Indian curry house and get a plate of minced curry that was all the left overs minced and served with rice for about a shilling, this was back in the late sixties and I was told it was very popular.
Gary you found a gem with this restaurant. I noted the staff busy cleaning up etc, refilling etc, good to see. The price 10 quid is super for an excellent buffet with so many choices and good quality Chinese food. Has to a 10/10 from this chinese food freak in Australia. Keep up the great work Gary you are a breath of fresh air in your profession.
Hello Gary. Great videos: straightforward, honest, detailed and well-filmed. I note that on today's video you say you won't be in London for the 'foreseeable future'. Sorry to be cheeky but I'm trying to work out where you're from: Kent?
Ah very kind of you. Try to be as honest as possible. I'm from deep Kent! I was exaggerating, I'll be back to doing videos in London in a couple of weeks!
It seems like a fantastic deal . My only concern would be how long is the rurn around period for the cooked meat dishes. 2 , 3 ,4 days? . Or is the food made fresh every day, for that price I would doubt it.
Never been to all you can eat buffet in my life. But I think you have convinced me to take a trip down to try out this place. Love myself a good curry, but if you give a 9.5, I trust you, my dear friend. Glad you enjoyed it and have a wonderful weekend. Got plenty of suggestions for Yorkshire and Leeds, but just tell me what kind of food and I will hook you up. Give my best regards to the cameraman/woman! Keep up the fabulous work and speak to you soon, mate! 😊😊
I will drop you a line my friend. Give it a go, it's nice and cheap and the food quality is great for the price. Speak to you very soon and have a great weekend :)
Great to hear you're going to York. Must try lunch at house of the trembling madness ( there's 2 but the one in Stonegate is my favourite). Also fantastic Thai called Bamboo Thai as reviewed by Rate my takeaway.
Fantastic stuff Phil. I've had a look at that place online and it looks excellent - a bit small so maybe difficult to film but 100% added to the list and is tempting me. Anything you'd recommend from the menu? I will mention it in my review if so! Thanks for watching!
The fact that Gary chose to venture to an absolute bedpan of a place like Morden on a miserable wet evening just shows that he's prepared to go the extra mile for his subscribers. You can't really argue about the price, and as long as Gary didn't spend the next day with the squitters it sounds like somewhere worth visiting.
I nearly flew into the air with this umbrella taking me with it. Weather was absolutely awful, appreciate your words my friend. No issues for me, all good. Thanks for watching!
If I went to an Indian buffet restaurant all you can eat for a tenner, I would be like a kid in a sweet shop. We have nothing like that in Poland and my nearest Indian restaurant is over a 300km round trip away. So as you can imagine I don't eat Indian food as often as I would like to 😞.
Hi Ron. Hope you're well in Poland. You really need to try and come back to the UK and have a lovely curry again. Equally, Poland is beautiful and I'd love to visit again soon.
Finally got to see it Gary after about 8 attempts! That looked amazing. Probably the best buffet i have seen and a fantastic price. Pity i live in Birmingham or else i would be a frequent visitor.
Gary, mate what a way to make a living 😢 And i thought the wind came up after the "Ruby" 😮 The chutney looked a tadge thin? The buffet area was impeccable. Clean, tidy and very well lit😊 Confession time 😮 Can't get my brain around eating chicken legs with cutlery 😂😂😂Me and good King Henry ,proper finger lickin food and fling the bones to the dogs or the court jester ( you nicked his coke but did C.T.P grab any food? And did he trott after you in double quick time😂😂)A good local eaterie with I'm sure a loyal customer base. The price is fantastic, a business man who understands that repeat (no pun intended) customer's are the bedrock to survival in catering 😊Enjoy the away days next week Cheers 🥂 Allan&Family
Haha Allan. Hope you're well. I think I'm so used to the idea of using cutlery that I forgot I'm doing it! The cameraman didn't eat at this venture as he was too busy with the camerawork in this one but I'm sure he will be eating again in a video in future. Have a good weekend :)
Just found out your channel and making the 1001th comment! Absolutely a divine experience with your narration and overall presentation! Wising you great luck and success in the future Mr. Gary!
Another top review, but seriously come on fella this is another venue I've got to add on my bucket list and visit, if you keep reviewing like this I'm gonna have to live until I'm about 120. 🤣🤣
My second video from you after discovering your channel - and another excellent one for sure! I love curry - from cooking my own, to BIR curry, to more authentic Asian foods (e.g. staff curry and related). So was very interested to watch this. [Aside 1: Your picture quality and audio is excellent. May I ask what you used for video and how you captured the audio ? ]. Amazing selection indeed - I just hope folks do not load their plates completely up (cos it is eat as much as you like), and then waste the food (your plate was completely sensible). [Aside 2 - many years ago (like 20 !) I was working at Imperial College London. Just down the road was a little dingy Chinese restaurant in a basement called the Paper Tiger. Eat as much as you like for £4.50. It was not a "cool" place to eat (so said many) and it had a limited choice, but I was there a couple of times a week - excellent simple buffet food at great value. Some of the later reviews online before it closed are pretty dreadful, but my experiences would pretty good given the price ]. / By modern day comparison your meal looks unbelievable good value! Again, excellent video. Mark.
Brilliant stuff Mark. Really glad when I get new subscribers and they enjoy my content. Thanks for watching me scof my face with food haha. I've been trying to find lots of cheap buffets, went to one the other day for £9.80 but wasn't allowed to film so couldn't do the video! Thanks for sharing mate.
Hi Gary! It's Sunday 5th November. I'm enjoying my meal at the buffet right now. The price today is £10.99 I find even for that price, with the selection. It's still good value. Very busy. I so far had to ask for my mint yoghurt. this could be because it's very busy. Hopefully they have a popadom left

@@GaryEats I wouldn't be surprised if they raised the price because of the video. Maybe because the price of what they offer is certainly worth that. They even had hand cleansers at the end which were warm. I'd pay up to £15.00 for this any evening. I'll send you an email 📨 now
Hi Gary - I enjoy watching your videos where you give an honest and refreshing approach to a variety of food establishments. I've subscribed to your channel. Great content.
Hi Gary Yet another great vlog by you and Mr Cameraman, i deify any one to criticise this place at just £9-99 that is outstanding vale for outer London, i would defiantly give it 9-5 also, i would only knock the .5 off for the coke price, £3-50 that's a bit naughty, especially when there doing the poppadoms for just £1. So glad your coming up to my neck of the woods, you won't be disappointed i assure you. Food wise we love Rio Brazilian Steakhouse at 18 Bridge street in York. We also love Bamboo Thai at 11 Hull Road, also in York, there food and service is excellent. Chris.
Thank you very much Chris. Is the steakhouse in York new? I've just had a look at it online. I love York, one of my favourite cities so I'm looking forward to going up there! Thanks mate.
Wow, that truly was value for money, & to be able to sample everything, so you can find what you really like, is a great opportunity! It all lookef wondetful, & im.very envious! Lol I'll give it a good 9/10!. Lol
Really enjoyed that clip Gary. The concept of all you can eat rubys hasn't hit these shore but I'll add it to my list when next in UK. That's pretty good value for money for such good quality, was in similar in Copenhagen last year and most of the pails were empty and what was there was ropey enough to be honest.
Hi Gary. Just moved to Teddington. Definitely going to jump on the train and give this a go. I’d love to know how many go into the restaurant and order off the menu or go straight to the buffet due to the choice.
in leeds one of ery best rubys is azrams sheesh mahal on kirkstall road opposite the odeon cinema lesure park head out of leeds , follow kirkstall road and its about 300 yards after the viaduct , on the right
£10 or €11.80. Man, I couldn't get so much delicious grub for that price even here in Bucharest, which has a pretty decent array of quality fastfood joints. If I'm ever back in London, I'm sure paying this place a visit. And in the meantime, Gary, you've got yourself a new subscriber! Your videos are delightfully to the point, no verbose ramblings like some of those "foodie influencers" out there. Just a fellow mortal chap-bloke-mate who just wants a decent meal at a decent price. :)
The food looks decent and delicious Gary. You always have a wonderful smile wherever you go. And give your honest opinion.love this channel. I recommend you should go to Royal Nawaab Pakistani Restaurant, Mint Leaf Lounge, The Rajasthan and The Tower Tandoori Restaurant in London.
It’s usually only on Sundays that Indian restaurants do the buffet, and that’s only because of the leftovers from the weekend….. this looks excellent and unbelievable value, cheers for the heads up,I’m on my way 🏃
we used to do buffet in our restaurant on sundays and never ever used leftover ,everything was freshly prepared ,leftover was always binned on the spot
Hi Gary. I’ve been watching your videos for a few months & find them very helpful - I live in the south east so you have covered many of the places I have eaten, Wimbledon, Cheam, Morden, Worcester park etc. I just wondered if you could make the scoring a bit more varied & categorise the visit giving individual scores for the following - quality of food / value for money / decor, situated + ambience/ staff service - I don’t want to muddy the water I just think thatl give a fairer score overall if they are scored separately, then you could provide a league table under the different locations in the country? Just an idea. Kind regards Alan
Looks fantastic Gary! What a great selection, though I'd hoped they'd have some of my favourites like Palek Paneer and Aloo Matar. Two huge papadams for a pound.. can't do better than that! I'm lucky enough that my best friend is Indian and a great cook 🙂
Ok if in York (I lived there for many years and was a chef at KITES) If it's still there as this was a long time ago.. Great vid as always. Keep on rocking 👍🎸
10 Squids ?????? You cannot be serious. Unbelievable value together with a fantastic selection. Interestingly Gary ..... you could have 10 meals here instead of that recent dire £100 job - food for thought I reckon.
£9. Wow!! Im jealous. Curry on a cold wet day, is just the best, right?! All the best to Cameraman and his mia Coca-Cola. 😂 Looking forward to the Leeds adventure! Can I ask about filming in restaurants? Do you think that sometimes they might give better service, or better quality and quantity because you're filming a review, than just a regular customer? Its like.. traffic on a busy road, when the police car pulls along side. Everyone suddenly on best behavior. 😂😇😇Has anyone said no, to filming? Thank you Gary and hungry Cameraperson!🥤🇮🇳🍛
Hi Mona. How are you? It's the best and I deffo needed it to warm up (probably warmed me up a bit too much) Haha. Yes, looking forward to Leeds and York myself. Of course, most places are absolutely fine with it, we don't let them know that we're reviewing as that would be unfair. No doubt some probably improve their service when they see a camera but some probably don't care or are unbothered. Only one place has said no to filming which is no problem! Cameraman appreciates you looking out for him. Have a good weekend!
A little tip….if the curry heats getting to you, ditch the drinks and eat some naan bread, it’ll take the capsaicin oil off your palate, whereas liquids will only swill it around your mouth and the heat will soon return! Another outstanding review 😊
Or have yogurt or milk if it's available. Works far better than water or any drink ever could. Discovered this the hard away after eating the spiciest prawns I've ever had. I suffered a lot from a dragon mouth drinking useless water until my mum suggested eating yogurt and the heat dissipated almost immediately.
You cant argue with the price on that. In times like these at the moment thats fantastic value. Just goes to show, you dont have to break the bank for a meal out. Thanks.
Another spot on video Gary. Keep us these excellent reviews. I'm from Leeds and my recommendation for when you're up this way would be Fazenda Rodizio bar and grill. Amazing salad bar and menu with 15 different meats that keep being brought to your table. Green card for more or red card to pause/stop. Give it a go 😊
@GaryEats yeah it's an all you can eat. Great Brazilian flavours. There is also Estabulo Rodizio bar and grill more in the centre of Leeds as Fazenda is down near the docks. It's the same all you can eat brazilian meats vibe. It's definitely worth a visit to either of them if you're up this way. Keep up the good work fella. Look forward to the next review 🙂
I don't know what to say, man, I really don't 🤷🏻♂️. I didn't even think something like this still exists in London £10 all you can eat!😰. To be totally honest, it's not just the price that surprised me because you can probably still find buffets for £10 but it's the variety and quality including the price that gobsmacks me! I hope they are doing well in business for their consideration in these hard times!👍💯🌟just the most basic and cheapest fish and chips in my area is £14;50p and that's without mushy peas and curry source!
I found myself needing a moment to collect my thoughts after reading your enthusiastic review! I practically sank into my reclining armchair, trying to steady my breath. I must say, the price tag of £14.50 for Fish n Chips (without the much required mushy peas and sauce) did manage to elicit a big gasp from me! Your wonderful description made my stomach rumble, but my wallet seemed to whimper in protest. That said, I did once try fish n chips at a place called Gigs up in Central London and that was around £17 odd quid but thank the heavens it was amazing otherwise normally I'd be satisfied with a trip down to my local chippy.
@@christianb344. It's in an area called Morden and the restaurant is called Princess of India. The nearest train station to it is also Morden station. Hope you enjoy your trip to the UK. 👍💯💫

What a great find this is - normally with places like this i expect cracks to show either with décor or quality / variety of food. They make their money on drinks/alcohol!

Hi Gary good afternoon. In loughborough. We do not have a a restaurant like that doing an Indian buffet looking at that food and the value of it it would work well in Loughborough. I would certainly use it with my wife selection of food was excellent. Thanks again for sharing this with us another great review. Many thanks, Colin.👍
Hi gary, i have a couple of review suggestions. Rivaaz in Lymington is a superb indian resteraunt. A few miles away you have royal spice which is just a takeaway but has exceptional flavour. If I could afford it i would love to live in London and have this buffet to go to!
As per usual my drinks bill for lager would probably be more than the meal (which I suspect they are hoping) lol, but even so, considering Indian food is usually a lot dearer than Chinese I can see why you gave it a 9.5.
Oooh yummy we love our curries 🍛 wish we had a buffet indian restaurant up in Stratford-upon-Avon!we have indian take away nearly every weekend😅and very 🌶spicy 😊great video 😊

Lovely stuff. Looking forward to having a nice curry in Leeds!
My mate said the same thing with birmingham.
Outstanding value Gary, I’ll be paying a visit mate , great vid thank you 😀
Great stuff Mark. Enjoy the buffet!
You don't normally get spicy dishes on a buffet.. looks like a hidden gem
I was very surprised at the value.
It's not hidden , not from us locals anyway. It gets extremely busy . It got so busy they had to expand into next door.
They’re all over here in wales. Also very popular

Thank you Leslie. Really kind of you!
@@GaryEats Great! Went to this buffet tonight due to your video, really good. I'm from Kent myself!
Great stuff, I hope you enjoyed it!@@islesofscillyardent
@@GaryEats Yes, thank you. Amazing price & fantastic selection of food. Please keep up your videos, they're great!
It seems like a fantastic deal . My only concern would be how long is the rurn around period for the cooked meat dishes. 2 , 3 ,4 days? . Or is the food made fresh every day, for that price I would doubt it.
This is always my concern with buffets but this one was excellent!
From past videos, Indian, Chinese, fish and chips, English breakfast, Steak restaurant
I will drop you a line my friend. Give it a go, it's nice and cheap and the food quality is great for the price. Speak to you very soon and have a great weekend :)
@@GaryEats same to you, mate! 🍻👌🍾
I so love your fair and straightforward reviews. Great stuff. You're up there in my top 3 RUclips reviewers. Keep up the good work
Overjoyed to hear that mate. Thank you!
@@GaryEats I did think about it being small for filming, but I reckon you’d be ok going at opening time on a weekday.
Absolutely mouthwatering dishes. I will try in my next visit this restaurant. Thanks Gary.
Hope you enjoy my friend. Thanks for watching!
Finally got to see it Gary after about 8 attempts! That looked amazing. Probably the best buffet i have seen and a fantastic price. Pity i live in Birmingham or else i would be a frequent visitor.
Glad you enjoyed it and I'm sorry that it took a while to get in. Really appreciate that you kept trying, Mark. Have a good weekend!
@@GaryEats And you mate.
Thank you, definately one I'll try, not far from where I live.
Great stuff. Give it a go and let me know what you think!
Gary!
Wow, thank you!
Another top review, but seriously come on fella this is another venue I've got to add on my bucket list and visit, if you keep reviewing like this I'm gonna have to live until I'm about 120. 🤣🤣
I'm really sorry Ian. I'll slow down on the reviews my friend hahah. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend!

Thanks for the sub. Haha, need to get more of a tolerance I do mate. Cheers!
Incredible value. Hats off to the owners well done 👏🏻
Absolutely agreed. Great value.
Another fantastic restaurant and review Gary. Unbelievable price 😮.
Thank you so much and I'm glad you're enjoying the video! Fantastic price.
Great video Gary, perfect food for a nasty, wet night. I'm going to take a trip down the Northern Line to Morden very soon!
Have fun and enjoy it Michael!
Another great video and brilliant venue. I want to visit!!! Incredible value
It really is! Thanks and have a good weekend!
Hi Michael. I'm glad you're having an excellent time mate. My email is garyeatsbeef@gmail.com. I remember you asking. Also, could you point me towards the account that shared my content on instagram? I'm intrigued. Thanks and have a good time. I wonder if they raised the price because of the video!
@@GaryEats I wouldn't be surprised if they raised the price because of the video. Maybe because the price of what they offer is certainly worth that. They even had hand cleansers at the end which were warm. I'd pay up to £15.00 for this any evening. I'll send you an email 📨 now
Thanks for the email. I will reply soon!
That is a bargain buffet thanks for the video look forward to the next one
Glad you enjoyed it and completely agree! Thanks and have a good weekend!
Hi Gary - I enjoy watching your videos where you give an honest and refreshing approach to a variety of food establishments. I've subscribed to your channel. Great content.
Thanks for that Suhel
Hi Gary
Yet another great vlog by you and Mr Cameraman, i deify any one to criticise this place at just £9-99 that is outstanding vale for outer London, i would defiantly give it 9-5 also, i would only knock the .5 off for the coke price, £3-50 that's a bit naughty, especially when there doing the poppadoms for just £1.
So glad your coming up to my neck of the woods, you won't be disappointed i assure you.
Food wise we love Rio Brazilian Steakhouse at 18 Bridge street in York.
We also love Bamboo Thai at 11 Hull Road, also in York, there food and service is excellent.
Chris.
Drinks are now they make the profit
Thanks Emily, Yes im told this, wow £3-50p for a coke.@@FateBoost
Thank you very much Chris. Is the steakhouse in York new? I've just had a look at it online. I love York, one of my favourite cities so I'm looking forward to going up there! Thanks mate.
@@geordiejones2 I won’t even pay that for a 1.25 litre from a takeout. I go without.
Wow, that truly was value for money, & to be able to sample everything, so you can find what you really like, is a great opportunity!
It all lookef wondetful, & im.very envious! Lol
I'll give it a good 9/10!. Lol
This was excellent value, especially for London
Really enjoyed that clip Gary. The concept of all you can eat rubys hasn't hit these shore but I'll add it to my list when next in UK. That's pretty good value for money for such good quality, was in similar in Copenhagen last year and most of the pails were empty and what was there was ropey enough to be honest.
Great stuff John, glad you enjoyed it. Sometimes buffets can go wrong but this one was excellent!
Hi Gary. Just moved to Teddington. Definitely going to jump on the train and give this a go. I’d love to know how many go into the restaurant and order off the menu or go straight to the buffet due to the choice.
Hi Michael. Small world, I went to Teddington today to do a review!
in leeds one of ery best rubys is azrams sheesh mahal on kirkstall road opposite the odeon cinema lesure park head out of leeds , follow kirkstall road and its about 300 yards after the viaduct , on the right
On the list... looks like I'll be visiting next week. Thank you very much!
Thank you Daniel and that’s very kind of you to say, I’m glad you’re enjoying the content. This place is very cheap!
So nice of you and I will have a look at them online later. Thanks for watching!
It’s usually only on Sundays that Indian restaurants do the buffet, and that’s only because of the leftovers from the weekend….. this looks excellent and unbelievable value, cheers for the heads up,I’m on my way 🏃
Enjoy it Danny... glad you got to watch the video in the end. Thanks for watching!
we used to do buffet in our restaurant on sundays and never ever used leftover ,everything was freshly prepared ,leftover was always binned on the spot
Kind regards
Alan
I do understand your point completely, Alan, but I just try and keep it simple
Looks legit, great find.
Were you only wanting York and Leeds?
I will take recommendations for anywhere Nigel. Just visiting York and Leeds next week so easier for there!

Ok if in York (I lived there for many years and was a chef at KITES) If it's still there as this was a long time ago.. Great vid as always. Keep on rocking 👍🎸
Ill have a look at it online. Thanks Ray, keep rocking and have a great weekend!
10 Squids ?????? You cannot be serious. Unbelievable value together with a fantastic selection.
Interestingly Gary ..... you could have 10 meals here instead of that recent dire £100 job - food for thought I reckon.
It’s great value Roger unbelievable and I agree I know which one I’d go for 👌
A tenner for all that is an absolute bargain... especially for near lomdon too
Spot on. Fantastic value!
For a complete buffet, it requires Indian desserts like Gulab Jamun. Did you omit them, or weren't they there?
There were desserts but not part of the buffet. Thanks for watching!
Wow that looked so delicious! I’d give it 10/10 for choice and excellent value for money.
Great stuff, glad you enjoyed it!
Another really enjoyable review. Thanks Gary!
This was excellent value Stephen
£9. Wow!!
Strange that some don't allow filming because if the food's good, videos like these are a great (and free) advert for them.
A little tip….if the curry heats getting to you, ditch the drinks and eat some naan bread, it’ll take the capsaicin oil off your palate, whereas liquids will only swill it around your mouth and the heat will soon return!
Another outstanding review 😊
Thanks for the tip Bill. Thank you mate :)
Thanks.
Couldn't agree more and thanks for watching Simon!
Give it a go 😊
Is that the all you can eat steak place? I think I 've seen that before. I can definitely give that a go, they have a few in London!
It's truly incredible for the money. I had my doubts surrounding the price and the buffet but it exceeded my expectations! Thanks for watching!
Hi Gary where in South London? We are traveling from Ireland and do really like an Indian.

Hi gary, i have a couple of review suggestions. Rivaaz in Lymington is a superb indian resteraunt. A few miles away you have royal spice which is just a takeaway but has exceptional flavour.
If I could afford it i would love to live in London and have this buffet to go to!
Hi mate. I will note down those suggestions - thank you.
As per usual my drinks bill for lager would probably be more than the meal (which I suspect they are hoping) lol, but even so, considering Indian food is usually a lot dearer than Chinese I can see why you gave it a 9.5.
You can bring your own drink which is good. The value is incredible for this day and age!
