Medical Biochemist and research doctor ..... The plateau is already well known about. The vast majority of people plateau around four months in. A small percentage plateau around the year mark. Important question to ask patients ...... Has it stopped dealing with your appetite? If the answer is that the patient has started feeling hungry again, I would politely suggest running bloods. I have noticed a few patients with specific deficiencies especially anaemia seem to get a hunger kickback ..... Once they are on an iron supplement, they then say .... "My Ozempic is working again!". Hope that but it into helps!
I have been on it for 16 weeks and I am plateaued doing 1200 cal. 150g protein. No oil butter very low carb. 3x week 1000 calories burn work outs. 5x week weights. 3 meals 400 cal each everything weighed. I was 298 lost 30 then got on ozempic. Lost 38 more. Plateaued for a month.
week 1 i lost 10 lbs (mostly water weight probably) week 2, ZERO weightloss BUT I lost 2 inches off of my waist and 2 inches off my hips! been walking 10k steps a day, eat low to no carb (ketovore) I focus first on meeting my protein goals. drink between 64 to 96 oz of water per day. I was bummed after weighing myself and then remembered to check my measurements and walla! He is so right! Be kind to yourself and consistent!
Something medicine really needs to look at. The weight-gain profile of middle-aged women compared to when we were younger. I was someone who was presumably very insulin sensitive when I was younger. I would INHALE pancakes, candy, chocolate, anything that I could get my hands on. I had substantial meals for my 3 meals and any snacks I liked (within reason) and I sometimes had trouble keeping weight on! Now I'm the opposite. I can skip breakfast, watch what I eat, etc., never go out to eat, avoid dense carbs like oatmeal and be lucky to lose 1/2 pound per week (IF I'm lucky)! I'm also low energy/fatigued so can't exercise heavily without experiencing post-exertional malaise, which has put an end to my daily 1 hour walks. Anyway, it just is so hard to change from one weight profile to another. I've had all the tests (thyroid, etc.) and no explanation. Is this simply middle age? Is it mitochondrial dysfunction reducing energy expenditure/metabolism?How can people like us get back to how we used to be or is it just hopeless? Researchers, please look into this!
Hi! Great information. So this week was my first week going up to 1mg, I would like to adjust back down to .5mg while implementing your advice and changes. Will it still work if I go back down to .5? I’ve been on for 2.5 months and down 20lbs but stalled the last 3 weeks. Thank you!

Well damn what now,?! I'm on it & assumed I would lose quicker if I increased... I *ALWAYS* have slow digestion, so didnt think much of it w/each increase I'm still only on 1.25 i want it to work AS FAST AS POSSIBLE its been about 2.5 months & I'm only down about 10lbs... I cut out dairy immediately & don't eat much... B4 this tho i was no sugar, no carbs, & fasting often, trying to be carnivore, but i have no gallbladder & can't handle a lot of fat ... Anyway: since being on semiglutide, I've started eating carbs again, but i not too much a lil popcorn, some sprouted bread, i did have a tamale once, anyway I'm frustrated, any advice? Also i 💯 want to ask for an increase this week, not sure if i should now, been taking mag 07 to help digestion & so far i feel prettu good, but have noticed my appetite is a bit stronger since getting to 1 & 1.25.. I'll probably ask to increase, idk i wanted to do mounjaro, but the place I go to only had semiglutide at first, now they offer Trizeptide but idk if i should make this switch it costs more.
Please make a video on IF, it's a very interesting topic. I was taking 250 mcg of semaglutide peptide once a week and then every five days and while it totally killed my appetite, to do not lose muscles I would eat protein diet (100g) and lift on most days and fast 38h once a week. Sometimes I had a hard time to resist and would only fast 24h and I would try 38h again next day. I only saw the weight going down after the fasting days, but wanted to keep my feeding days to prevent from lowering my already low metabolic rate. Overall, I lost 22 lb in 3 months and gained muscles, which I will check precisely with Dexa test after the next milestone 12lb. I started with Ipamorelin for first 8 weeks and then moved to semaglutide for another 8 weeks. Now thinking about trying tirzepatide.
I am at 1mg ozempic. About 16 week. I eat 1200 calories about 150 g protein. 3 meals 400 calories each. Everything is weighed. No oil butter very low carb. Mostly protein. I work out 3times a week cardio 1000 calories burned. Weights about 5 times a week at home. I was 298 now 230 so 68lbs down 30 of which was before starting ozempicbut plateaued. About 2lbs this month. I don't know what else to do. My blood sugar is good now.
@@BeaverQueef I know how to read macros and I have my iced coffee vice - my vice use to be crack so I think I’ve improved from that. The daily recommended limit on added sugars is 25g and I most definitely get those macros in my iced coffee.
Thank you for this information and your channel. I am glad it came up on my feed. I have been on Ozempic for two years plus. I started with the beginning dosage and now at the maximum. I am diabetic. I’ve been asking my primary doctor why after dropping fifteen pounds why I stopped loosing and his answer was to increase the dose and recently put me on a low dose of another diabetic medication. This has caused me to rethink what is going on as the new medication caused my legs to swell. Needless to say I stopped taking it. I now need to become more informed about Ozempic and why so long on the drug with very little results. I should be skinny by now! In listening to your videos, it’s obvious I am doing something wrong. I will continue to listen to your channel. Thank you.

What are the clinical trials on dosing every 4 days ?

Try tirzepatide. It's amazing
So milk and bread are not allowed?
I do not have a gall bladder. Is it okay to use Semaglutide or like medications?

Same with me. My doctor told me pepto to help with that.

Is there a way to continue losing weight without losing lean mass and muscle? I feel like I’m losing strength in the gym
You can start using Creatine that’s what I’m doing and it works great!
Iced coffee, I already know 😂, working on it though - I feel more sensitive to caffeine now so that’s kinda slowed that consumption down.
