    For future reference when addressing usb 3.x connectivity:
    USB 3.0 = USB 3.1 = USB 3.2 = 5Gbps
    USB 3.1 gen 2 = USB 3.2 gen 2 = 10Gbps
    USB 3.2 gen 2x2 = 20gbps
    Looks and sounds stupid, but thats the way the USB foundation has their name scheme set up.
    Tl;Dr
    USB 3.2 means 5gbps transfer speeds.

      @@EposVox Don't you think, There should also be a tight law/act/ammendment made for standardization of electronics whether they are universal & proprietary product ??
      Where these tech conglomerates like Dell & HP have to fight to approve their patent is better & also why they're making something different than already established standard ?
      Eg. Look at laptops, we have "Fully Soldered RAM" vs "1 Soldered RAM + 1 Slot" vs "2 slots"..... IMO, even 2 slots of crappy RAM is way better.

      Sir, may I know what is the pass through resolution means? Currently I m using GC311(Only support 60hz for both pass through and capture) to do the mobile (android-asus rog 3) game streaming. And whenever I stream or record through the capture card, it cause my phone refresh rate drop from 144hz to 60hz and the touch latency as well. Therefore, is that means if we use this capture card which have high pass through and capture resolution, my phone can play at normal condition which is 144hz without touch latency drop? Looking forward for your reply soon.
      Your help is greatly appreciated...

OR CAN YOU ACTUALLY USE an external MIC???????????? OR are you stuck using headset mic?????????? so confused............ I have a PS5 and have everything hooked up right, however; I am running the audio through the Elgato Wave Link software and im getting really bad static/reverb audio using the HDMI audio. When I have OBS opening I kind of jerry rigged a solution with monitoring and outputting the audio, but I’d rather use the audio routing of the Elgato wave link software so I can control the volume of what I hear and what stream hears. Is their any suggestions of what could be happening?

  • @АлександрНосов-б9б
    @АлександрНосов-б9б 4 месяца назад

    Good day! Thanks for the review! Is there any noise in the sound when you output it to the computer via an HDMI controller? I have it, it only helps to turn on noise reduction in OBS (and even then, not always), which, in principle, slightly spoils the overall sound quality. It manifests itself especially strongly if you listen through a PC, where sound is output from the card, at high volume.

    Could this capture card be utilized in a pass through configuration, for a single pc streaming setup, and utilizing the usb output in order to bypass hooking and display/game capturing issues? Let’s say I wanted to use the NVENC encoder to process the image provided from the USB output in order to reduce the load on my GPU, and bypass issues (stuttering, hitching, 99% GPU load, etc.) when using game or display capture on a single pc setup. Is this a feasible option with this capture card?

    • @EposVox
      @EposVox  3 года назад +2

      Capture cards don’t really benefit single PC setups in that way. Performance issues are caused by running OBS at all on the gaming PC more so than the actual hook in most cases. MW2019/Warzone is one of the only games that have actual hook issues and that should have been mostly fixed w/recent OBS updates.
      You could *try* it for the scenario you’re describing but based on my testing it will not fix anything and now adds extra load via the USB round trip and decoding the capture card feed on top of everything else

Match output fps or highest fps... also tried 60. Over time the audio will slowly de-sync up the the point where it is several seconds behind the game on the xbox. This is the PC version of obs latest and 2560X1440
