Glad I’m not the only one just that reflects on things like our existence. Just blows my mind some days
I have 2 Nordings freehands. I really like them. I especially like the unvarnished so they patina with the smoke. Both smoke smooth and drier than many of my others.
My best place to smoke my pipe is without question at the bottom of my lovely garden next to my shed.
I love sitting in the garden or just going for a Lunt. I’m lucky that I often sit the dining room. Plenty of heat

Another handsome Nording 👍 true, each pipe has its own characteristics and feel, but freehands are special whether in front of a fire or on a ramble through the country and woods. Lovely day for a lunt and musing on nothing in particular and everything in general - especially about the pleasures of the pipe. Enjoying dark, heavy blends on gray cloudy and rainy days sounds about right. They do seem to pair well with days like that. Be well, stay safe, and keep on the road of awesome - peace

Nording is a good buy for the money - getting a good pipe under 100 dollars is a challenge but Nording delivers.
My favorite pipe though is a Ben Wade I bought 50 years ago for 16 dollars. It has been everywhere from the deserts of Saudi Arabia
and Iraq during the Gulf War to Tintamarre in the Caribbean to a dozen other countries. I estimate I have had about 3700 smokes out of that pipe
and there is much to be said about briar pipes made before 1995.
