Hello, im trying to get off cigarettes and smoke a pipe. Do you have any advice in making the switch? Also how many pipe bowls do people smoke a day? Just for a rough idea. Thanks in advance.

Good advice my friend. Truth is what matters. And if that’s what matters, we need to know it. Make it our life pursuit to know God and know this Word. You can’t know the one without the other.

Those Ray Bans are beautiful! I tried so many times to wear that shape but no go… my face is meant for wayfarers and aviators.

The combination of pipe, dog, and the quiet countryside on a cloudy day is a proper lunt. Combining tag ends of a jar or tine of tobacco produces some good smokes. The only downside is when a really great combination is created, but, of course, it wasn't a deliberate blend and no be recreated - all the better reminder to appreciate the present moment. It, too, cannot be repeated. Be well and keep it awesome - peace ✌

You don't need a book of made up stories/'life experience's' to lead a good life. Just morals. Some of the 'moral's' in The Bible are amongst the most horrific evil things ever written, in a time long past and should've been left there.

Good evening Benjamin, great to see you, I’ve just started listening to an online version read by David suchet. Started with genesis, I have found it a lot easier to sit or potter or when I go to me nest while listening, and learning, I shall read along at the same time but at a slower rate when I get chance that is one beautiful German shepherd. I’ve tried church from a young age to now but, I’ll leave it at but. I have faith but am not religious. Have a blessed week

Back in the heyday of pipe smoking 40's, 50's, and 60's, young men as well as old smoked pipes. Unfortunately, we won't ever go back to the times, but I have heard that more younger people are starting to take up the hobby now and leave cigarettes, so there's still hope.

New subscriber here. I was just thinking about this a little while ago. You can’t watch the news every day it’s too depressing and counterproductive. Just do you and enjoy life. Hopefully all will be well. PS- try enjoying your pipe after a nice hunt. Nothing like walking through the woods praying and thinking about life while you attempt to fulfill the age old tradition of hunting and putting meat in your table. It’s good to see you country piper! It’s interesting to read the Septuagint (the original Greek translated scriptures that Jesus would have read from) Psalm 23 followed psalm 22 (originally without chapter breaks ), and that is what Jesus quoted from when He cried out from the cross. I would guess He would have quoted the whole chapter if He could have breathed easily, but Roman crucifixion was torture that was similar to drowning.
