Pipe Smoking On An English Beach

While I was away with the family on an English coastal late summer holiday; I enjoyed a much needed little pipe smoke on the beach!
The Gawith Hoggarth Seasonal Reserve tobacco I smoked in my Peterson Aran pipe, actually seemed quite fitting, despite the time of year; as the weather has been pretty extreme whilst staying here.
Walton-on-the-Naze; near to Frinton-on-Sea, is overlooking the North Sea and directly in line with Dunkirk in France; which reminds me of Winston Churchill, who visited the area during the Second World War, and stood on these beaches smoking a cigar.

Great stuff! The sea is so emotive, you can feel it’s raw energy - fantastic place to enjoy a nice pipe and contemplate. Hope you enjoyed your break. Good to see the dog enjoying her holiday too!! 😄
