3 or 4 yrs now following you and its so great to see you hit a mark in the industry that is needed. Honest light testing. Much appreciated for your work🙏
Vivosun sent me the same light for review, and growing a farmers market jalapeno under it. Currently around 30" high by 24" wide and fruiting. Really like the light. I don't have the sensor, and wondered about the PPFD maps. So when you posted your video, it made my morning! Thanks.
Do you know if the VS1000 will have the sunrise sunset capability is paired with a controller? I feel like that would be less of a shock to plants then snapping on suddenly
I have this light that came with my 3x3. Currently have two seedlings inside it. I’m guessing I need to add as second light to the tent to get better results.
Just Arrived mine from canda but I live in Spain where light goes at 220v. Can anyone tell me if can I use It with a normal travel plug adapter or I need to buy a more expensive power Converter? Thanks!
Oh I answer myself in case someone from Europe wants the panel. Yes , the panel IS buult to work at diferent watts. You just need a proper cable or a plug adapter. I used one from a laptop. Just make sure the cable can handle 120watts.
If you're going with a board style light, I'd rather get 2 separate 2x2 lights (like these VS1000 or the SF1000) so you can space them out further and get more even coverage. The 2x4 lights that are compact produce some pretty big center hotspots.
the vivosun website has updated the information on this light from 640 ppfd to a massive 1081 ppfd in a 2x2 tent at the height of 12" 🤔 it might be just me but i smell B.S
@@LEDGardener its a great shame how companies in the led industry inflate the information on their lights. unless you own a very expensive par meter it makes using the light all guess work! thank you for taking the time to give us a more realistic ppfd reading to work with! 👍🙂
False advertising on Amazon.. Finally the panel IS in my hand. In Amazon was advertised with 301h Samsung diodes but in 2022 mine came with 301D (IS printed on the manual) and those are inferior. Not even the 301B....not Happy at all about false advertising (Amazon).. otherwise this panel looks awesome and well built.

He does a bang up job.
@Daze-Redneck Thanks man! It's such a fun hobby.
Well done brother, great to see how these lights actually stack up against each other, look forward to seeing more and keep up the stellar work :))
Thanks a lot! Cheers.
I got one in a Vivosun complete kit for $199 during Thanksgiving sales 👍
car extended warranty..had me rolling!
I was looking your page and it is an excelent fount of knowledge. Thanks.
I have this in a 4x4 tent I wish I had seen this but my plants seem to be doing fine I wonder how much more I could have grown with 2 lights

Yup, I would run 2 in a 3x3
How about a 2x4? Same deal, two?
What about in a 32x32x63 lol
In between 2x2 and 3x3
@@moetimski9767 Yup.
So if this ment for a 2x2 tent, why do they sell the same VS1000 in a 36x36x72 and the 48x48x72 tents what's funny is that the spider farm SF-1000?
I like mine. So far so good.
Sweet
How far would you recommend this light being from the plants in weeks 1 & 2? Also In a 2x2 with 2 AutoPlants in 5gallon fabric pots.

Do you have any thoughts on the Spider Farmer SF2000 lights for a 2x4 tent?

@@LEDGardener ty!
Great work
how much energy does it eat?
May be a dumb question but will this light grow a plant from seedling to harvest, or would I have to get a different light for different stages?
It will
Can you daisy chain 2 of them and connect to smart hub?
Yes
what are the lumens at each setting?
I just bought a vs2000 for a 2x3… is it tooo much ??
how do you like it?
Can u connect this light to ur phone ?
Not this one.

Well shucks; my readings are a lot closer to their initial claim.
