yea for as much as I like Vivosun, they really are duping people by saying it will cover 4x4 area. At max it will cover 2x2. You would need 8 of these lights for a 4x8 or you will have the plants directly under the lights grow well while the ones on the outside will be stunted severely.
I am changing from HPS to LED, I am debating between the Vivosun 2000 or SF 2000. From your experience which one would you recommend ? 4x8 grow tent. Six plants. Thank you !

Doing alright, vivosun has decent starter tents not sure I’ve seen the light 💡 looks nice and shades included is a groovy bonus. The dimmer dial is nice. I run a sf400 from spider farmer the first run that you have to adjust the light with a tiny screwdriver. The one in my 3x3 vivosun veg tent is a mars hydro.
They typically say 30-50 actual Watts per square foot. 3x3x5=45x30=1350watts. I think you said it draws just over 100 Watts. Good luck. Interested in your sucess.

Cheapest best ... I'd say mars ts,series not my fav light but u get good results for a very cheap upfront cost and running efficiently cost. Also I got a discount CODE if u use the mars site "CANNABEARD" cheers

Mr. Canucks grow pulls a half pound of flower from 180 true Watts in a 3ftx2ft. If you got two of these and put them in a 2x4 I’m sure you could get similar results.

How much heat does it let off? My plants are in 90 degree heat with the vs2000. They claim these lights give off less heat bu that’s not true.

Ya I tested it i think it was about 103watts
You calculated cubed feet, not square feet. Square feet would be 9x30 = 270 watts on the high end.
