The @VIVOSUN grow light kit is very innovative with lots of cool features. The Aerolight LED grow light has adjustable spectrum, can be daisy chained to other lights and has a circulatory fan built in.
The controller can be linked to the networked lights and control the dimmer, circulatory fan speed and Aerozesh extract fan using inputs from its temperature and humidity sensors.
The controller can also work with AC Infinity, MARS Hydro, Spider Farmer and other brands with 0-10V DC control.

Thanks.

I agree with this and hes such a nice gyy,i had the luck to speake with on spider farmer mars hydro but he convìnced me on vivosun or another mKe thThat i cNt remembrr.thanks for all you do for us just getting awsy ftom the 6000 to 1000 hps and saving us on our bills thanks
Dose this fan blow out heat
Thank you for the video Shane, we really appreciate the thoughtful feedback, we do think it’s key for continuing to grow our products.
Hey Shane, Just to say recently received the Aray 8 I purchased and my initial impression are that I'm very impressed with the design, quality and my comparison comes from using multiple HLG qb288's 135w. In terms of disability I do not think there is another light on the market that is as accessible as yours from delivery box to grow tent in the 4x4 space. Add this to the fact that you seemed like a genuine guy that gave honest reviews and even to admired competitors efficiency was enough information for me to put trust in your product. Pleased to say was good doing business with you and would look forward to future reviews on all horticultural products. Good luck man, deserve it.
Hard truth soldier ! Belfast
Thanks Nick, I appreciate the comments, take care, Shane
Ditto
Shane, it's great to see your channel growing! Keep it up, the content is quality and unmatched.
I just bought the ac infinity exhaust fan kit with the controller 69. I have their tent too 5x5 but didn't get their light. I went with spider farmer se-7000 8 bar 730w but I wish I could control the thing with ac infinity lol. I'm probably gonna buy a smaller tent and now I have my eyes on this lighting and smart control. I dig it!!
AC released lighting adapters a few weeks ago for their controller 69 so you can control Mars hydro and spider farmer lights
@@bensonh760 wicked!!! I'm headed to their site right now to go look!!! I had no clue! Thanks
Great to see you got them and gave them a test
That is so cool, nice to see other companies stepping their game up since AC Infinity blew the market up the last year so putting out quality everything.
at first Everything WAS great, until I installed an update from the AC infinity developers.
Now, I can't trust ANY Updates..
Always a pleasure to see there's a new test by Shane.
Vivosun usually has an economical approach (their grow tent were not bad) but sub 2.0 PPFD/Watt efficiency is not enough nowadays, and instead of mounting the fan on the light fixture they should propose a tower fan (best air distribution by far when positioned high in the tent) that could still rotate in horizontal position.
I disagree, even 1.8 PPFD/Watt is fine, if it keeps your environment in range, having a very powerful led increases the chance of burning the canopy, and often they don't give out enough heat as you need a powerful extractor fans to replace the CO2. Most grower buy very effective leds and then have to buy a heater because its too cold, another problem is buying a very effective led and turning it down 50%, what impacted does this have on the light spread?
Don't you think its a better idea to give the plants what they need and forget about dimming the leds?
Dimable is great for people using 1 light.Go from seedling to flower. ThankQ.TkEZ>UK
@@ianfarquharson3772
Its a total waste of space, electric etc.
3/4 of the veg time, the plants are very small and they require a very low amount of light, you could veg 4 plants under a single 13w led bulb an till they reach 6" tall/wide, 1ft2 small veg tub, 2ltr square pots, 18" tall(storage container with a small 80mm Extractor Fan in the lid(corner) on a timer, bulb dead centre. pot up and veg for 7-10 days under the main led and flower them off.
@Rss I guess you have never started seeding off under a 2ft T5 FLUORESCENT TUBE (1350LM) 14W 549MM (2FT)?
They work really well(24" x 6")4 plants, seedling's/early veg. A standard 13w led bulb is 1521LM and it covers 1ft x 1ft with reflective sides.
Seedlings don't need any light an till they germinate and then the Cotyledons need a low amount of light to start off, they need high humidity, its takes a while for the young plants to become established along with the root mass, so when the plant gets to about 5" tall/wide (mid veg, 4-5 weeks after dropping the seed in the dirt)
they can start using more light.
The AeroLight 100w gives you 25w per ft2
in flower(2ft x 2ft), so you could dim it down to 50% That would gives you 12.5w ft2 in veg. same thing but you light up 4 times the space.
@Rss you can but its a total waste of space, and electric. with the current rise in living costs, I have spent years working out the best ways to grow weed in return the money spent, I can grow high quality weed for about £10 a zip, but the means cutting back on everything you can. without effecting the crop size or quality.
Just got one used and the 2x4 with 2 of these lights along with the fan and hvac and controller and honestly it’s not bad at all works perfectly with my ac infinity products I have so far too
Great review Shane cheers mate
I love the tuneable idea
Wow, great summary review! Love your presentation style and you focus on the right metrics. I've been using the AeroLight and GrowHub for my tomatoes and they work splendidly. Looking forward to bringing my plants through a Texas winter!
Thanks for watching!
Kinda looks like the AC INFINITY stuff
It’s literally a China knockoff of ac infinity’s controller 69 released over a year ago. Shane already did a video on ac infinity’s system already and I guess light bulbs went off at vivosun hq
@@bensonh760 you're right. the only attractive thing about it for me is the WIFI but AC infinity are releasing a WIFI variant of their Controller 69. I'm suprised the market hasn't taken more advantage of WiFi capabilities.
Cheers for the comment! We do know that there are similarities between our products and others on
the market and this is for a few reasons - mainly that with an LED board there are only so many
configurations that are possible. That said, the AeroLight is the first and only light that integrates a
circulation fan and we currently have a patent pending along with an award for the design. We’re really
proud of how it turned out and we think you’d love it!
All the best,
@@VIVOSUN Hello! Does this connect to humidifiers?
Great product my plants are luving this
Great to hear!
Best thumbnail yet! 😆
Always an interesting approach to lights. the air that we normally breathe into the plants comes from the bottom, because the stale air goes up so you need another configuration to recover fresh air
I bought the whole system and set it up as we speak. I am very excited. So far all components make a very good impression. Built quality and design seems to be top notch. The packaging is almost Apple like. Once everything works together, I will give an update on my experience.
Idk man they couldnt make a reliable clip on fan i dont think i would trust them with even more wattage 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Its like they couldn't even make simple fans that didnt catch on fire and you expect me to trust them to automate my grow? 😆
Their oscillation clip fan doesn’t have the problem AC has with the cheap plastic gears breaking. But at least it will still work as a direction fan.
@@dzznuttz4843 simple online search for vivosun fire will show their clip fans are trash and they even tried covering it up
@@annabellea5656 I also looked up aliens, they say those are real too. Ppl should really have experience before pushing their negativity towards something they never used. Mine work great. No fires here.
I’m a starter I need ti no is this a good investment or a bad one what light and fan is best for a 2•2
I like the WiFi feature on the controller. I get stressed when I have to leave my ladies home alone for anything over 24 hours.
What would be great on a grow light would be a built in intensity timer, it would switch on at the start of the cycle at around 25% then depending on how long the light cycle is keep upping the intensity until it is 100% halfway (to mimick mid-day) through and then progressively get dimmer until it switches off at say 25% at lights out
There’s lights out there like that. I have spectre phaser 660s and with there controller you can set a sunrise and sunset timer where it does just what you said
@@cporz3784 thanks I'll have a look
The controller is capable of this. U have 2 choices actually. U can set it to the sunrise/sunset simulation or u can do it with the recipes. With the recipe mode, u can set it to 40 to start for 1 hr. Then bump up to 60 for an hour, then to 80, to 100… and the opposite as the light cycle comes to an end.
Cross compatibility is awesome. I also reminded me I need to get my Invisible Sun UV Strip out.ThankQ.TkEZ>UK
I mean I don't hate the idea. Lessens that center hotspot in the PPFD map and allows for some more airflow, I dig it.
It'd be cool if the direction of the fan could be changed due to how you'd like to move the air or temps.
love the fan in the fixture
The Horizen pro 710 Watt amazing LED have great power. Good video. 👍🙏
The fan is too gimmicky co2 is in a higher proportion towards the bottom of the tent hot stale air up the top , this could mess up the circulation of removing hot stale air from the tent
Yeah used air should rise with the heat and be exhausted out. Bad design to push down the canopy on the plants to recycle
U shud have better circulation thruout the tent so the top isn’t collecting that hot stale air…
Thanks so much for the comment and giving us a chance to respond! I wanted to comment about air
circulation and CO2 densities. CO2 and air circulation occurs regardless of which direction a fan is
pointed. As long as air is being circulated, air will find a way to balance and refresh (of course this isn’t
the case when an area is physically blocked by leaves, for example, which is why we focus circulation
through the canopy). Regardless, if the fan is blowing upwards or downwards, the final effect will be the
same: fully circulated air in your grow tent. It’s something we’ve learned from talking with educators
and through our research over the past decade, so I wanted to share that with you.
Additionally, we designed this fan to blow downwards because it forces circulation into the canopy,
which would be blocked from airflow if we didn’t. This helps balance moisture and reduce the risk of
mold while circulating CO2 in a physically blocked area.
Thanks for giving us the chance to respond! We all appreciate being able to communicate directly.
Cheers,
brilliant the crossover abilities are a good idea open up to differnt options
Great information. A time saver for sure.
Glad it was helpful!
I couldn't help but notice the "similarities" to my AC infinity equipment.
Which, they're app developers completely destroyed, & had to send me an upgraded WiFi controller, which they're still completely incapable of leaving the app/firmware alone....
That data logging is awesome.
Great upload....it seems like everyone always talks about Spider Farms or Mars....glad you did one on VIVOSUN
Mars and spider farmer both getting lazy on innovation. They make what they think is good, but don’t care about what the growers want/need. I’ve never been approached by them and asked what can make our products better, what do u need as a grower? I’ve seen Vivosun do this quite often.
@@dzznuttz4843 Thanks for the input...only issue I have had with vivosun so far is the tent had some poor stitching....so pin holes...I saw you can use Black nail polish to fill in the holes...right now I have electrical tape lol....but all in all have been happy with vivosun...I just see soooooooo much online about Mars and Spider Farms that I figured maybe give them a try but from your comment you definitely made me rethink that. 😎✌
@@dzznuttz4843 I helped Nancy and Van at Spider Farmer realize growers want independently controlled UV bars for supplemental UV. They’re on their way. Not released into the US just yet but soon. They work perfectly for the SE7000 5000 and or set up independently hung to support any other light.. Gonna be like 70 $ for 2 bars. They also got their own light controller that can do sunrise sunset or anything else any other controller on the market can do. This product has been available for well over a year now. So to say they’re not innovative or coming with new products just isn’t true.
No hate on vivosun but this is an absolute overpriced under powered unit.
A CPU fan on a tiny 100 watt light is hardly innovative.. If anything this is a step backwards. The fan in is integrated with the light . Fan shorts out so does light. This was a an issue with their blurple reflector models. They wired the fans to the drivers to power both fans and chips. Won’t surprise me if this already being considered for discontinuing.
@@timpage5021 this sounds great and all but where is it? I’d really like to see what it can do, since it can do everything any other controller can. The integrated fan design may not sound innovative to you, but it has received the Red Dot Award for its innovative design, so they disagree since it’s the 1st of its kind. Also adding the new light bars u helped SF develop, adds to the total cost of the light… so u are actually paying more (70$ u said) to upgrade instead of just having everything from the get-go, from the factory, the way it’s supposed to be installed. So if an average 100w light was 130$ and u add this to it ur already at 200$ (the msrp of the Aerolight, plus it already has the integrated circulation fan and is made to work with the controller to do multiple spectrums for different stages of the plant’s development (I don’t think another controller/light does this).
Shane, all you have to do is invent something to lift the lights and with this set up and an auto feed system I’d never have to go to the grow lol
If they had a sunrise/sunset feature and the ability to control an external uvb bulb they’d be onto a winner
Good stuff thank u
I like the center fan, ONLY if it is replaceable.
I would like a fan controller that uses " PID like" controller: a) at trigger point, turn on fan fully, b) adjust fan speed downward as the temperature drops, c) continue running until the temperature drops BELOW the trigger point.
Fans controllers like the AC INFINITY utilize a rather pointless "up-ramping" of fan speed when temperature / humidity hits the trigger point. The fan control "algorithm", if you would call it that, is bass-ackwards. It turns the fan on at low and ramps the speed up, exactly opposite of what it should do (at trigger point, bring the temperature/ humidity down FAST, not slow). THats what I would like to see in a future fan speed controller.
this is great!
pretty cool.
Love the technology and the ease of custom schedules. I assume this is the “recipe” setting. That being said I’m unsure how this would compete with the higher efficiency options on the market for a commercial set up. Seems maybe Mars Hydro could adapt this tech and apply it to the next version of the 8000 series paired with the new fans. Well same fans differed branding lol.
i'd like a grow light that was 100 watts but performed like 500 .. might help us in Europe cope with massive price hike in energy 😎
I would like one of those too: )
@@MIGROLIGHT 😁
Would love you to do a video on the smallest led lights with the best coverage say for a 1.2 by 1.2 tent. For people who have there fan and filter inside say if you have a 8inch fan and filter you lose the head room so its basically impossible to use say a lumatech zeus 600w as there so big! It's fine if you don't have a fan and filter inside but many people have no option! The spiderfarmer sf4000 is one or maybe 2x mars sp3000 is the main to options I have seen. Thanks
Thanks for another great Review 👍 Keep up the great job Shane 👊
like the fan in the light idea. that inline fan sounds very loud which made me think if you wanted to review fans the same way you do lights i think that'd be a winner for more content. id need to get a different 'make' of inline fan that was much quieter as it would be in my sleeping area. i just wondered if manufactures and sales people could take that into account when selling there products and perhaps offer suggestions as to appropriate area use's. 'Perfect for the shed not the bedroom' or something. cheers Shane
Hi,
The AC Infinity fans run pretty quiet, get the next size up that you need and run it at a lower setting.
sieht cool aus
Very nice light and nice setup
Rapidled used to do a light with a fan in the shroud housing. Didn't really last long so they discontinued it. Hopefully the fans will last longer here
Hey there 18matts,
Thanks for the comment! We’re happy to answer some of these concerns!
Both our AeroZesh and the AeroLight’s integrated fan are PWM-controlled EC fans with dual ball
bearings. The most critical component of fan reliability is the bearings - these ensure the longevity and
are also the most costly because of the quality required. But this also means the AeroLight’s fan has a
lifespan of around 70 thousand use hours, which is even longer than the LEDs (which come in at about
50,000 hours). Part of our design process is an extreme condition test, which includes everything from
high temps and humidity, salt, direct water spray, and extended operation. From our rigorous testing,
we found on average these fans last around 70,000 hours.
Hope that helps with your concerns!
Cheers
Fan on light blows down? I guess if it’s cold that might be useful otherwise better to draw hot air up and out.
I've been looking to see if anyone commented that haha
Yea it works great too. It’s meant to keep moisture off ur foliage. The air is cool, the heat sinks draw heat away, the air hitting the plant is cooler than above the light. But there’s almost no use to blow the air upward. Ur exhaust shud pull the air from the ceiling. And u shud have circulation fans to move air thruout the tent also, so u don’t have hot air in one place.
Hi Shane you are my most favorite person to watch in the A.M lol.
Do u think I could hook this up to my off grid battery system ?
Not sure about the inverted fan addition it probably doesn’t oscillate and will only be blowing on the plants directly underneath it. What’s is you opinion on it ? I have seen a spinning hps grow light fixture someone has made an led one but I don’t know if it’s any good the spinning motion probably produces a more even footprint/spread of light I would like to see light mover or some sort of pendulum movement to get a more even spread and more area out of the same light only because some LED’s par or ppfd is weaker around the edges
I find that the UV and far red 730nm diodes on lights very interesting. I’ve only grown with one 100w LED panel light fixture that does have a 730nm diode. I look forward to my next setup as, I’ll get to use all of the different things that I’ve learned, and put it to good use! Do these types of lights really have the capacity to be practically used in the advertised manner? If so, I’m very curious and, maybe even interested.
I like the idea of being able to automate 90% of indoor gardening in one application. I really like that the controller incorporates some cross compatibility with other brands.
Vivosun is going to read these comments and i have only two suggestions for the next revision. Release a version without a lcd controller and one with a programable outlet so users could hook up an irrigation system or mechanical dehumidifier.
I think the fan is a novel idea. I'm not sold on it but it isn't a feature that would make me avoid the product. Anything that decreases the probability of rot is a feature worth considering.
Fans are mechanical and would be the point of failure. As long as the fan isn't integral to light cooling and it can be replaced by the user i don't have a problem with it.
Good vid thanks
@Fishy Good for you. I'm glad you have such a holistic relationship with your plants.
Automation isn't a replacement for personal 1 on 1 time with your garden. It is a supplement. If you became lazy and lacked the dedication for your garden that's on you. It isn't the tool's fault.
Plenty of connectability, so the powers that be can see what you’re up to...👍😁
Blowing warm air is not possible for a good grow
If ur whole tent is hot, ur blowing hot air. The heat sinks pull heat away from the fan, allowing cool air to flow thru to ur canopy. But what most of the ppl here are saying does not make sense, yes hot air collects towards the top of ur tent… but not is ur moving air around. The hottest part of ur tent shud be from the light radiating on the plant. The air in ur tent shud be moving the hot air and the cool air from the intake. And the exhaust shud pull any collected heat from the top and blow it out the tent.
I have this light, even at 78 degrees the fan still blows cool air across the canopy
I'd rather have it blow the air up but maybe that is just me? Any thoughts migro. I currently run ac infinity iongrid t22 I really was sold after watching your video! Hot air rises so I would think you'd want the fan in the middle of the light to be blowing upward towards ducting. This could be done with the iongrid because the driver is removable but it would have to be a small fan
I actually center my ducting in the iongrid that's what the square doughnut is nice for at least hahaah
Honestly vivosuns light is a bad gimmicky design. All that used air that’s rising with the heat should be exhausted out. Blowing all that back down towards the canopy is just forcing used air onto your plants.
I love the fan right in the middle. U can add fans to ur tent but u can’t get this angle from anywhere else and it works so much better at keeping my canopy from collecting moisture. When I have a side fan, it only gets thru part of the dense foliage. This blows cool air thru the canopy perfectly.
@@robh2421 disagree, even though you may think it’s hot it will be cooler than the tent air and your offering circulating air at canopy level. I agreed with the thinking, but in practically it’s as stated 🤞🏻
@@robh2421 that is very good system. IT blows warmer air to down, so gold Air have rise up so its change air so much better in tent. That light should be more powerfull, but nice product.
The fans are great idea! They seem under powered as far as par test though.
I'd try one for tester but I'm on the fence with them
Wow that looks like my home made led, with the fan in the middle, wattage, cover, the lot is very similar(but without all the adjustments and dimmers, guess there nice to have) I have 4 of them covering a 1m x 1.4m, (1.2m x 1.2m would have giving me a very even spread @12")
That's what I love.....
Building your own to suit your environment.... One thing I like about DIY lights is that if a component goes down you can always replace it....
What happens when these LEDs go after a few years....mmmmmm
Every 6 months something has improved with these LEDs, just like mobile phones, then again I know people who still use HP's Systems but they upgraded to led but as Soon as winter comes they go back to HP's for the warmth..... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

looks like vivosun is really trying to step up their game.
blowing the warm humid air back down onto the canopy seems a bit counter intuitive, surely this is the now stale, humid, hot air that we want to evacuate and replace with CO2 rich fresh air? Also trying to control temps and humidity together with an extractor doesn't work where I live as there are too many fluctuations, so I run a dehumidifier to de-couple the two processes. With this in mind I find the whole plug and play app based systems a bit gimmicky, it reminds me of programming a bread maker rather than being a conscious gardener! I'll stick to my MIGRO 3's and plan on buying a couple more when back in stock!
Yeah blowing hot used air back down into your plants to recycle is a bad idea. they want fresh air
Gimmick? It’s a smart grow system… u don’t use timers? U don’t check on ur environment? That’s not a gimmick… that’s a necessity. Vivosun just made it easier. I get how some ppl just are not ready for the new technology, but don’t call it a gimmick just bc ur still trying to program ur VCR, man.

@@dzznuttz4843 oh wow. I assume you can also code and if I talk about through zero FM modulations you know what I'm talking about. My grasp of tech probably far exceeds your own. If you can't achieve this anyway then an app will be useless to correct your mistakes. Hence I'll stick to my point that it's a gimmick aimed at beginners.

Looks like light isnt strong enough for 2x2? What yall reckon
Will the Vivosun smart controller be able to control a simple outlet to turn on and off a humidifier or fogger using the( UIS CONTROL PLUG, FOR OUTLET-POWERED EQUIPMENT) from AC infinity?
was thinking about getting the 2x4 smart kit with the double areolight, still want it but those fans are very loud...... idk how i feel about that
are they really that good or is it just a brand recognition thing? blowing warm air down on to the plants doesnt seem like a great idea to me. 300$ for a 100 watt light+controller seems like a bit much. i think im perhaps more hands on than needing to fully automate my grows.. and i dont see it as a huge deal to use a separate fan to blow on the canopy. would rather have diodes all over the panel than a big hole in the middle. dont most of us try to get the heat (which rises) up and out of the tent? also.. does it work on a 5 ghz connection, or do we have to use 2.4 ghz routers just to get the wifi to work?
vivosun got popular selling grow tents on amazon for years, as the lowest asian budget tent brand. They also now clone acinfinity ideas now just like a few other china based coastal companies
@@dertythegrower i have a hard time thinking "chinese knock off=good".
I like the fact that the middle part has no leds.
Its better if those leds were used to spread the board more to the side since you can clearly see in ppfd readouts that the middle of the quantum boards have a much higher ppfd count compared to further away.
I would prefer a better distributed light source
But thb I would rather blow air from the bottom upwards rather than blowing air from the warm/hot downwards
My first thought was that the fans blow upward to cool the heatsink.
Since blowing warm air down is somewhat inefficient
It's good if you're in a smaller tent, pointless for anything else. The problem is the led will outlive the fan.
@@arrowgunt "My first thought was that the fans blow upward to cool the heatsink.

I think the fans are an excellent idea and in the perfect place to move warm air straight down on the plants no need for dodgy clip fans too my only concern would be the quality of the fan and could it be replaced if needed can the app control the lights for dawn and dusk settings if not I think that is the way forward and it would probably save the user on electricity
I like the idea of a fan in the middle as long as it's not noisy
be nice to see a 300 w-400w light with a extraction fan
Have you ever tested the one with the wings on it? What’s your thoughts on the performance of that light? Thanks
I'd love to know the temp of the fan-blown air onto the canopy. Is it just blowing heat-sinked air down onto the plants?? Sounds bad.
The heat sinks draw the heat away from the center. Mine blows cool air.
Normally heat rises to bring all the photosynsized air from the plants upwards which should be exhausted out the tent. This fan blows all that used air back down to soffocate your plants.
@@richardturner4088 …sorry man, air is not “photosynthesized”. Photosynthesis is the process that plants use… it’s not air.
It would be cool if the fan was reversible so you you could clamp ducting and use the light to vent heat during the summer.
Wow

Very interesting set! I like the controls and setting having a built in timer, thats useful!
I ponder how effective those 4 blue diodes are or are they just for looks?
Overall this looks cool but also has a toy like look to it!
The fan is a superb idea but in the end its not necessary, I think if the fan was blowing up it would more effective at dispersing heat around the box or tent. However just having a hole there would cause air flow because Im sure everyone is using other fans to circulate air.
Still the cool design and overall simplicity of the migro system is hard to beat!
Will this light be good for short photo in a 2x2x4
What the fan 😆
Hi Shane have you seen the article in the Guardian regarding the change to led lighting and it's effect cheers mate
Hi,
No we haven't seen it.
Thanks.
the fans look like a good idea. multiple computer fans is more of a proper gas exchange rather than a osillating fan with too much air flow, slowing plant trsnspiration. :)
Hey there, I know this is an old post and sorry to bother you but could you please elaborate on too much air flow slowing plant transpiration?
Hi Shane,
Great video again, it's very interesting, and I'm curious to know how about spectrum per stage features when using others brands lights?
I see some people's say they use their Mars hydro lights FC series or spider Farmers.. All say that their lights can be dimmed but don't know if spectrum features per stage works too.
Do you know if it's will work when using fc 6500 smart light?
And does this features really ajust the light color?
Thanks again, best regards 🙏🏼
UVB for end of flower on ita on timer built in. Although not sure you can do with led think you need fluorescent.
Yes only fluorescent for now.
I've see you did a review or you checked out the AC Infinity controller 69 Pro my question is you think these are your both just as good as each other or is one a little better than the other
I would love the fan so long as it was replaceable, no doubt the fan will be the first thing to breakdown.
By the time, based on normal EOL your light will be obsolete
I bought my light and controller as an open box new item on ebay but there was no cable to the light can u use any ethernet cable or does it has to be that specific cable ??
Yo Shane, see if you can get your hands on a karma horticulture light, it’s an unbelievable light for the price.
Do the grow hub connects straight to ur phones wifi or do u need a router ?
I still haven't been able to get my grow hub to turn on at all or control my Aerolight they didn't send me the ethernet RJ45 looking cable that actually fits the Aerolight
Shane please hope you don't mind me asking sir. Does this system work with your led lights? Thanks Mike
Is this only for a 2 x 2 or could it be by 4 x 4 a few by two?
What diodes are used in this light?
Hello Shane, i hope this quastion doesnt annoy you, but can you tell something about the diodes in your Aray-lights? You changed them from LM301 to LM281B. Youre using more diodes per watt now, but still this is the only light on the whole market that reaches 2.4 with LM281B diodes. Other good lights with LM281B+ usually reach about 2.0, like the Vipar Spectra P series or Maxsisun lights.
Hi,
It is down to design how how the diodes are driven.
Thanks.
@@MIGROLIGHT you dont know what rank/bin they are by any chance? Cause there are some good 281s out there.
Best advice and reviews on all products. Ps your own products look awesome 👍👍👍
@vivosun what diodes are in this light. Why dont you advertise the diodes in your lights on your webpage?
Great light great review but what happens when a fan stops working.I prefer LED lights that don't have a fan and stays cool to warm.
The light has like a 3 or 5 year warranty. And mine doesnt get hot enough to worry about.
I’ve had mine going since they were released, very smooth quiet. U can’t get this angle from anywhere else except for the fan. It keeps my foliage from collecting moisture and preventing disease like wpm.
