My 2 year old almost 3 year old is maybe at 25 words, he only says my dada for two word phrases. I try to read with him, I’m watching your videos and idk where to begin. Functional language is important…
I want him to learn I want food or water but I don’t want to skip steps. Do I do flash cards of one words? What the first good stepping stone any videos on that? He also understand a lot just won’t talk from what I think.

Hey dear.... Thanks for making this series... I doubt that one of my twin babies- the boy is autistic... They will be 2 years old next month but they dont speak a word... During this tough time it's very hard for me to take them to a pediatrician or a speech therapist... Just want to ask that where are you from????? And can an autistic kid be completely treated by correct speech therapy???? Please please please reply

First you will need to see a developmental pediatrician to get a formal diagnosis, then he could have an evaluation and possibly see an ABA therapist (applied behavioral analyst) they work very closely with kiddos with autism, so to answer your question, an SLP can definitely HELP but they will likely need more treatment than just the SLP (ABA and/or OT for sensory/feeding concerns)
