  • Learning to talk during Verbal Routines is a critical, "in between" step for many late talkers. This one hour video, ASHA CE Course Creating Verbal Routines, is designed to teach you how to develop and introduce verbal routines to toddlers with language delays and disorders. In this 68 minute video, I'll explain what a verbal routine is and why this strategy is successful with ALL young children, including those with language delays, and provide lots of examples for developing and using your own verbal routines. Finally, you'll see approximately 30 minutes of therapy video clips when I've used verbal routines in speech therapy sessions with toddlers and young preschoolers. Because this is REAL LIFE therapy, there will even be clips when it doesn't go as smoothly as we'd like. As I always say, that's okay, because therapy is REAL life. No actors. No Hollywood set. No sound studio. This video is real life therapy in a real office and real homes with a real therapist, real kid, and real parents. Therapists get CE credit for only $5 - ASHA CEUs too for SLPs! (It may take a few days for CE credit to be available for purchase!) See CE info at teachmetotalk.com for details at this link: teachmetotalk.com/asha-ceu-co...

I greatly appreciate your series of videos. With productivity demands paired with the inability of allowing parents back into the clinic during clinic thanks to COVID, I have found more and more need for something to which refer parents. Your videos give families a great handle on what they can be doing at home to support what we are doing in clinic! Thank you!!
