@@m.e.d.7997 Yes, the little boy does die in the book. He gets lost from the group, and never returns. In the book, his parents are also on the ship, and they survive. The older sister also survives, but not before she is raped by one of the crew members when she briefly strays away from the group.

Pamela Sue Martin. Born in Connecticut in 1953. She was in a few movies over the years when she was younger and she played Fallon Carrington on Dynasty.

Kim Kochel That 1 girl looked like Susan Dey from Partridge Family TV show. Ive heard the 5 Great Lakes are as Dangerous as the Oceans. I feel for those people who live in Buffalo, NY they get 10-12 feet of snow from Lake Erie. Buffalo was called ( SNOW CAPITAL OF USA ) from that 1977 Blizzard. They said it snowed everyday in December & January, City & Schools were closed for 3 weeks.
Soooo many memories come to my mind with this video. I was only 9 when I saw it. I wanted Gene Hackman character to survive so bad. I cried when he gave his life to save the others. Later as an adult, I realized how many famous actors where in it. And always crack a laugh when I see Leslie Nielsen (Naked Gun) as the captain of the boat.

Never has this song been more appropriate than at the times we're living ... once a life marker to our personal sorrows, now a beam of hope for all humanity amidst this gathering darkness.
l bought the 45, played it to death, bought another copy. It's not everyday you feel dedication like that to a song, a concept, a philosophy. The lessons I learned from films like The Poseidon Adventure is not to lie down passively in the face of adversity and die. Fight for something that really has meaning, not a new pair of Nikes or your team winning a Superbowl game. We all should be exposed to such clear morality tales early on in life. If you're lucky, they may help shape and define you into a person you're proud of becoming.
Yes that's right here's got to be a morning after if we can hold on through the night we have a chance to find the sunshine let's keep on looking for the light. Oh can't you see the morning after why don't we cross the bridge together and find the place that's safe and warm it's not too late not while we're living let's put our hands out in time. There's got to be a morning after we're moving closer to the shore. We'll escape the darkness we won't be searching anymore. There's got to be a morning after.there's got to be a morning after, there's got to be a morning after, there's got to be a morning after.Yes this songs lyrics are very well put for positive reinforcement to continue to move like the song of Movin' on ,Movin' on.

This beautiful song reminds of my college days. Sergio Mendes was a music icon in the Philippines and often held concerts there. His last visit was right before Covid struck in 2019. Sadly he died of long Covid. He will be missed. Thank you for the music Sergio ❤️🙏🏽😔
Irwin Allen was a true showman. He created a lot of excitement back then.
¡¡¡¡¡Bravísimo!!!!...
¡Qué temazo!... ¡Qué película!...

I just looked up The Poseidon Adventure soundtrack CD . It's $75.00 and includes three versions of The Morning After. Maybe a Christmas gift for me next year.
Update ! I got it 😜😎🤩🤣😂😅😆😁😃😀🤓
For some reason I get chills from listening to this song.
A great and inspiring song to sing to if ever you are lost in the bush.
This song rips your heart out. Beautiful.
Excelente interpretación, me gustó desde que vi el estreno de la película y hasta esta fecha la sigo escuchando. Buena música y mejor voz. Gracias de nuevo.
The BEST montage of the movie (set to the beautiful theme song) on ALL of RUclips.
Ned, I've watched this clip of yours many times and each time it makes me sad...and gives me goosebumps.
Kudos!
I am saving this video for myself, in case RUclips decides to take it down, I agree with you!
