The easy to follow manual along your videos is making my learning curve not as steep as it might have been. Thanks.

Thanks for making all your videos, they have been great.
You might take one factor into consideration. The P45 is a piano, with keys that are as 'hard' to press as a real piano, so you need some force. Of course you'll get used to this (and will enable you to play a real piano), but in my opinion this so-called hammer action is not very well suited for playing other 'instruments' like flute, trumpet, organ and synth, that require a far softer and smoother touch etc. In short, the feel is completely different (like a piano (hitting the keys) feels different from an organ (pressing the keys)). Partly subjective, but good to know before you buy.

Thanks Jeremy... Just bought one, was so confused (casio or yamaha and then which model) earlier but finally went for 373 after watching your videos... Cant wait for my. Classes to start...
Thanks a lot Mr. Jeremy! Your review really helped me in buying this beautiful instrument! Wish you all the success for your channel! Keep working like this 🙏🏻
Among these 3 models: Yamaha psr-e373, Casio ctx700 and Roland Go Piano 61 keys, which one would you recommend (In term of best sound quality)? I am planning to buy one yet I’m quite new to this instrument. Thanks and keep up the good work I really enjoy watching your videos 🥰
Sell the old one for 100 and upgrade. If you do so, thats like you rented your keyboard for 25 a month, which is not bad. And now you have familiarized yourself with the presets, functions, and other bottons, so when you upgrade it won’t be a chore to learn where everything is😊
Today I went to my Yamaha Music Centre and I purchased this amazing keyboard. I was stunned when I saw it's great price and features. Thanks for making this awesome video!!!
@@JeremySeeThanks!! Do u have any more videos about this keyboard's features and options(Especially about the (USB to HOST interface), Coz I really never had such an advance keyboard, previously I had an old Casio MT-640.
GOOD LUCK getting a new one; my city music store searched all their stores for hundreds of miles away in every direction, not a one to be had anywhere. no other stores had any either...I ended up buying a used one from a nonplaying lady that had never even been out of the box! the voices/arpeggios are fabulous and the grand piano button is awesome...
@@JeremySee exactly correct, as my hubby concurred re the chips. too bad they cant use potato chips instead! the electronic chip factory in shi na burned to the ground, then the lockdowns there stopped/curtailed/screwed up the production. plus all longshoreman on western coast must b 2x vxd (most pple now realize the vx is NOT a vx at all) and the trucks used to transport the containers off the docks must b newer than 2011; not every trucker can afford that. this is all being done to screw up/collapse the economy.
Between the NP12 and the PSR-E373 which should I consider? FYI I plan to start learning the piano with ZERO prior experience. Thanks for the awesome videos btw!
I subed to your channel. I have the e373…it’s awesome..fun learning. You show great point how to use it. I rather learn from videos. I don’t like learning from the manual..👍🏽
What about Casio CT-S500? Looking to purchase this model. But In my Country now the prices for CT-S500 and PSR E373 are the same. For some reason which I can't explain similar models of Yamaha always more expensive than Casio. Something like a "traditionally we prefer Yamaha".
They both sound the same roblox man but then e463 has alot more to do still basic. Other hands is that 463 has 6.0 watt speaker higher output for louder tones and bigger sounds while e373 still carry 2.5watt still loud enough to hear from your smalll room to your living room. If e373 great for performing at home large room living room but not big stages or like size of walmart. You can hook extended speaker with it for more power. They are both clearer even max volume there are no distorted static noise you hear. Casio speaker do tend to do that but not always
Yamaha good quality piano sound same sound as always but about them speaker the quality you get is 2.5 watt amp is as loud it can get for house room living room or perform in small stage but still has a good speaker that won't sound distorted even at max volume depending on the voice or song you selected, great for practicing. Both speaker are true stereos sound meaning there evenly played at the same time.
I got a PSR-EW310 now and i couldn't be more happy about it. Thanks Jeremy!! i've seen a lot of your videos to finally choose a perfect model for me! :) PS: It's my first keyboard
I've enjoyed watching your videos the grand piano sounds really sold me on this one keyboards in the 80s and 90s sounded toyish in comparison and sometimes look like a toy this Sleek design not too many multi colors really has me excited you convinced me to get this model for my daughter's Christmas which I just purchased today I will enjoy watching your videos in the future as well and I can tell this will be getting some playing time in my studio as well very happy with your reviews and content on this Yamaha this video helps me pick this one over some of the older one which would not have had these wonderful features and sounds
Compared to CTS-1 it has lots of features but I was drawn to Casio’s elegant design when I bought it. Still am. Though I play my 12 year old Yamaha nearly everyday.
Ty so much I have an old yamaha par 290 and was wanting to up grade to the yamaha par 463. But now that I've hear the new 373 I think I'll wait till it is here in Delaware.
Hi Jeremy, I have a Yamaha PSR E423. I think its great, well in excess of my needs or abilities. However, there are 2 things that bug me, that I never see on any reviews of any keyboard, They would be high on my list to check on a replacement if I ever wanted to upgrade. (Perhaps to the DXG 660). 1. I prefer to practice quietly with the volume very low and the intruding mechanical tapping noise of the keys is a bit annoying - even worse with glissandos. This must be worse still for other people in a quiet room when I am rattling away in the corner using headphones. 2. I recently realised that the headphones and speakers sound was about 90% on the right side, only10% on the left . Is this deliberate for a stereophonic spatial effect, to somehow give an impression that the piano was located on the right (eg if other inputs were added somehow, they would be stereophonically separated to appear on the left - or perhaps a more likely possibility that the keyboard has a fault? On occasions when I want to play piano loudly, it would be good to be able to increase the limited volume by adding to the left speaker too. So my question - are there keyboards that are significantly different on these 2 problem categories? Love your channel, Schaun. Edit .....Just one more thing. My fingers are just a little too big to fit between the groups of 3 black notes. are there any keyboards that help with this problem?
I own the E363 currently. I am eager to investigate the organ voices on the new E373. I was planning to upgrade to the S670 or S750, but if the organ voices are as impressive as I will imagine from the Tyros 1, I may save up for the E373 instead. I am very excited for this release.
I have the Yamaha psr ew410, the Casio sx500, and Yamaha ew465. Now is the time to put my ew 410 and ew465 o. Ebay! Any takers ? Like me and reply accordingly!
Hey, been watching yr piano videos and grateful for all the advice. Daughter has to piano Yamaha ofcourse. She's an adult player so advise me how I proceed bro.
I went to the Guitar Center to try out the P SR E 373 It did have a good piano sound , strings, and the articulation button was only ok not good to have to keep pushing it to get the sound I only found 1 accordion sound and it was not good... Because of the small speakers any bass I played you could not hear.. I chose not to buy it because of the poor speakers... Good pain tho Lee
Thanks for the video Jeremy! Sorry to bother you but I’d appreciate if you could answer this question. As someone looking to start to learn the piano with no prior experience, would the e373 be alright for me if I wanted to play Billy Joel songs or Beatles songs? Or would I need more keys?
61 keys is the standard for playing keyboards. More keys can be used in specific cases. The keys that are "missing" from the standard 88 keys of a piano are at frequencies (very high and very low frequencies) that are used mostly for "passing" notes and musical phrases and not to play any kind of melody in them. Original piano arrangements in classical music use these keys for arpeggios, "heavy" bass notes etc so 88 keys are needed (Not in all cases of course). For playing songs (compositions with lyrics) of any kind of music, 61 keys are sufficient.
Would Yamaha have an updated version with 88 keys in near future? That would obviously increase the price tag but it will still be worth it for just less than $300.
Been on the preorder list since early September. Guitar Center saying Yamaha keeps pushing back the date. They just pushed it back "another week" according to customer service but earlier this week they said Oct 31 for sure.
@@JeremySee yeah but another push back today and Guitar Center isn't sending out notifications you have to call to find out.. I know others have to be frustrated.

Which is a better keyboard Casio CT-X870IN vs Yamaha PSR-E373? Both are in the same price range and both are new in the market, for a beginner who wants to learn keyboard?

Dear Jeremy See, your all videos give quite clear information about pros and cons of the keyboards. I am planning to buy one bedside portable keyboard piano, with built in speaker, may be some midi keyboard. Please suggest some models. By the way which keyboard is placed near to your computer?

Thanks a lot Mr. Jeremy! Your review really helped me in buying this beautiful instrument! Wish you all the success for your channel! Keep working like this 🙏🏻
Have fun!
I too am considering between the PSR E373 and Roland Go Keys. What did you go for in the end?
I am trying to decide between the two, also. I bought the Roland
Go-Keys but now, I'm thinking about returning it for the Yamaha PSR-E373?
Finding out that the LiveGrandPiano voice now in 373 made a shock. Still, ew410 is more of an ease in function controls.💖
Woah! I just bought the Psr-e363 it's not even 4 months and they come up with this huge upgrade. Beats me💔
Sell the old one for 100 and upgrade. If you do so, thats like you rented your keyboard for 25 a month, which is not bad. And now you have familiarized yourself with the presets, functions, and other bottons, so when you upgrade it won’t be a chore to learn where everything is😊
For a change Jeremy, no long supplement. Sounds a winner, look forward to you getting your hands on one and giving a demo.
Always a pleasure to hear from a friend. I'll get one next week. 😉
I ordered the e373.. shipping starts next week?
My e373 arrived today. I bought this model because of your clear and super helpful videos. Thanks!
Have fun!
Today I went to my Yamaha Music Centre and I purchased this amazing keyboard. I was stunned when I saw it's great price and features. Thanks for making this awesome video!!!
Enjoy!
@@JeremySeeThanks!! Do u have any more videos about this keyboard's features and options(Especially about the (USB to HOST interface), Coz I really never had such an advance keyboard, previously I had an old Casio MT-640.
Seems to be a real competition for my CT-X 800 !
Just bough e373 online, thanks to you jeremy! Thanks a lot!
Following my reviews coupled with the global constrained supply due to chip shortage, I'm not surprised. 😉 Great choice. Have fun!
It's so hard to find nice review on entry/education level keyboard. Nice videos!
I have just ordered the e373. Can't wait to have my hands on it!!!
Have fun!
PSR E373 Vs PSR E463. Which is better?
dgx660
They both sound the same roblox man but then e463 has alot more to do still basic.
Other hands is that 463 has 6.0 watt speaker higher output for louder tones and bigger sounds while e373 still carry 2.5watt still loud enough to hear from your smalll room to your living room.
If e373 great for performing at home large room living room but not big stages or like size of walmart.
You can hook extended speaker with it for more power.
They are both clearer even max volume there are no distorted static noise you hear.
Casio speaker do tend to do that but not always
What do you think about buying Yamaha Psr e373 instead of Casio CT X3000? It will be better?
It is my question too. When I saw his video about the casio a few days ago, I was sold. Now I saw this video, idk 😐? What do you think Jeremy?
No, because it the sound is blurry. Maybe wait e473.
Thanx, Jeremy🔥🔥🔥
I got a PSR-EW310 now and i couldn't be more happy about it.
Thanks Jeremy!! i've seen a lot of your videos to finally choose a perfect model for me! :)
PS: It's my first keyboard
Great choice. Have fun!
Is psr ew310 is same as pse e373
Am I missing something? I do not see the ability to use Bluetooth connectivity? Is it there?
thank you man bout to buy mine👍🏽 new subscriber too love the way you give valuable info as well as comparing it on the go with other product
Question well I was wondering if there is any better than PSR E373 at the range of 200-300 bucks rangeI don't want to exchange piano for a long time
Sounds like Yamaha is waking up, looks like a fun Keyboard with a lot of bang for the buck! Good overview Jeremy, appreciate your expertise.
Thank you for watching and supporting me, buddy.
For all viewers interested in watching reviews on keyboards and piyanos there's no better channel on earth than this
Thank you!
Would you say that it is better than Casio CTX 700 for the price?
Pls make a video on best 88 keys digital pianos between 300 to 500 usd
Just waiting for next version of E 463.
👍
473, I presume?
Ty so much I have an old yamaha par 290 and was wanting to up grade to the yamaha par 463. But now that I've hear the new 373 I think I'll wait till it is here in Delaware.
Yup, best to wait a while. Do support my channel via the links when you decide to buy. Thanks.
Would you still recommend this? or should i get the E463?
Hi Jeremy,
Any idea when they will release Psr e473?
SX 600 u mean Jeremy
It was a great video n I'm really glad that Yamaha did stand to all ur expectations of tempo freez n lcd
Sharp ears! At least you are paying attention. 😁
@@JeremySee 😊
Now happy!!! But still saving money for this baby😇
THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT REVIEW
how about now? Is PSR-EW310 better choice?
Hmmm, I'm thinking about selling my PSR-EW300 now. Great review!
You should! Before the value plummets. 😉 I've sold my E363 & EW300 last week. 😝
@@JeremySee 😜 i will pre order it, then tell them to deliver it when i hav money😜🧠🧠
I own the E363 currently. I am eager to investigate the organ voices on the new E373. I was planning to upgrade to the S670 or S750, but if the organ voices are as impressive as I will imagine from the Tyros 1, I may save up for the E373 instead. I am very excited for this release.
Lots of voices from Tyros 3!
Great video, would I be able to get 80's synth sounds out of this, like van Halen and stuff?
I have the Yamaha psr ew410, the Casio sx500, and Yamaha ew465. Now is the time to put my ew 410 and ew465 o. Ebay! Any takers ? Like me and reply accordingly!
You mean to say this new entry-level keyboard has furnished the same grand piano sound as EW 410? And the same depth?
Hey, been watching yr piano videos and grateful for all the advice. Daughter has to piano Yamaha ofcourse. She's an adult player so advise me how I proceed bro.
Wish I had waited for 2 months ! E 373 Specs sounds so cool .
When is it coming to India?
I went to the Guitar Center to try out the P SR E 373 It did have a good piano sound , strings, and the articulation button was only ok not good to have to keep pushing it to get the sound I only found 1 accordion sound and it was not good... Because of the small speakers any bass I played you could not hear.. I chose not to buy it because of the poor speakers... Good pain tho Lee
I find it kind of weird to see a channel deep diving on budget keyboards.
It's 5:42am and I'm looking up budget keyboards lol I need this man
@Jeremy See have you had a chance to try the Roland Go Keys? How would that compare with the E373?
After watching this video I went and bought my E373. Thx
Great choice. Have fun!
Thank you for the video! :)
Thanks for the video Jeremy! Sorry to bother you but I’d appreciate if you could answer this question. As someone looking to start to learn the piano with no prior experience, would the e373 be alright for me if I wanted to play Billy Joel songs or Beatles songs? Or would I need more keys?
There's the ew310, that was released with the e373, and have 76 keys. The prices may be similar since both are beginners keyboards.
Won't happen.
That’s awesome!!! Well done Yamaha!!!!!😀
Nice demo. Thanks
Been on the preorder list since early September. Guitar Center saying Yamaha keeps pushing back the date. They just pushed it back "another week" according to customer service but earlier this week they said Oct 31 for sure.
Demand is off the charts!
@@JeremySee yeah but another push back today and Guitar Center isn't sending out notifications you have to call to find out.. I know others have to be frustrated.
it also doesn't help that Guitar Centre is facing bankruptcy after missing a $45m interest payment.
@@PierceBrunson have you got yours? I ordered one from guitar center too but I ordered it lasts week and I haven’t asked cs about it because it’s currently the weekend
I’m about to buy one, do I need to avail of the 4year warranty extension on Amazon? Thanks!
By when E373 is likely to be available in India as I was planning to buy PSR E363. Now I will go in for E373.
Can i use it as a midi controller too?
What you wanna control with this without faders and knobs?
Doesnt need those to use it as midi, he can change the preset settings in his DAW
Thanks Jeremy! Any improvement in the organ settings?
Quite a number of organ DSPs are gonna sweeten the organ tones!
I'm looking at two different used yamahas a ypt-400 and a ypg-235 I like the fact that I can use them as workstations to produce my music ideas, is the PSR-373 something that will produce the same as the two used keyboards mentioned
Which is a better keyboard Casio CT-X870IN vs Yamaha PSR-E373? Both are in the same price range and both are new in the market, for a beginner who wants to learn keyboard?
I got a used 363. I also have a Casio S1 and a P145. But I can’t get the 473 out my head. JUST the piano sound. Is there a difference or is it the same sample. Cheers.
my favorite feature on that keyboard is the SA Lite?
Psr e373❤️ Finally got mine today 😋
Have fun!
Dear Jeremy See, your all videos give quite clear information about pros and cons of the keyboards. I am planning to buy one bedside portable keyboard piano, with built in speaker, may be some midi keyboard. Please suggest some models. By the way which keyboard is placed near to your computer?
The keyboard on my table is the PSS-A50
@@JeremySee Thank you.
I like your background video like a pro producer but you with cool style explaining an arranger keyboard, its very cool...
And for psr my wish are shape of CTS but sound like this.. it will be ultimate begginer to advanced keyboard.. i mean DSP effect is a must for intermediate to advanced player...
Yes, I really like the form factor of CT-S too.
