In this video i talk about all the things i like and the things i dont like about my Volkswagen Golf 7 GTE Plug- In Hybrid. It is a owner Review, not very long but i try to keep it short.

A feel-good atmosphere while driving is taken care of. The interior of the Golf GTE sets with its distinctive sporty design by blue stitching on the steering wheel, shifter and floor mats elegant accents. The dynamic GTE look is additionally underlined by noble details such as the aluminum-look gear lever knob with blue rings and the stainless steel pedals. The black headliner gives the interior of your Golf GTE an appealing atmosphere, enhanced by the aesthetic inlays "Honeycomb Black" in the interior door trim.
When driving at night, you can use the blue ambient lighting to create a particularly pleasant lighting mood in your Golf GTE. These include the discreetly lit door openers, the armrests and the decorative light gaps in the front doors. The footwell and the reading lamps are equipped with LED lights. These are easily regulated via the central display.
The front of the Golf GTE with its closed radiator grille and blue trim stands for agility and aerodynamics. The blue band continues in the dynamically shaped LED headlights and harmonises perfectly with the Volkswagen emblem, behind which the charging socket is integrated.
The LED daytime running light, which is mounted in progressive C-shape in the bumper, convinces, as all LED components, by low probability of failure and low energy consumption. Viewed from the side, the side skirts stand out, leaving the Golf GTE visually full on the road. Of course, the distinctive rear end is just as sporty: the rear spoiler is painted in the same color as the car and painted glossy black on the underside.
The chrome twin tailpipe is located to the left underneath the diffuser, which impresses with its sporty design and forms a compact, dynamic unit with the sturdy bumper. The dark red taillights in LED technology look very elegant and shine dominant when they are needed.
The Light Emitting Diode LED is an ingenious invention that has become an integral part of modern technology. Compared to an incandescent lamp, which gives off a lot of energy in the form of heat and not in the form of light, the LED is a true energy-saving miracle. In addition, it is much more durable and failsafe.
In the Golf GTE you will find the light emitting diodes in a variety of applications, especially in the front headlights and taillights. The full-LED headlamps with daylight-like light color spread a pleasant light and at the same time provide good road illumination. The characteristic C signature of the LED daytime running lights is more than a design element, because it increases the visibility of your vehicle. This is also the highlight of the beautifully designed LED taillights.
A special highlight is the innovative dynamic flashing light: an animated light band that indicates the turning direction.
Looks good for you: the wheel selection for the Golf GTE. As standard, you will receive the 16-inch "Astana" alloy wheels, which will guide you through everyday life. With the "Marseille", "Rio de Janeiro" and "Sevilla" light-alloy wheels you have an optional wheel program for the Golf GTE. All of them impress with their dynamically striking design, larger diameters and strikingly blue calipers, which leave nothing to be desired, even for the ambitious driver.
In the new Golf GTE you can choose between two optionally available navigation systems. The "Discover Media" system is equipped with a 20.3 cm (8 inch) color touchscreen display, eight speakers, FM radio reception, CD drive, two SD card slots, AUX-IN and USB interfaces, a mobile phone interface via Bluetooth and free software updates.
If you want more, the optional navigation system "Discover Pro" offers an innovative gesture control. This will allow you to switch from radio stations to radio stations, for example, or change the system settings of your car, such as the light intensity of the interior lighting. In addition, it has a 23.4 cm (9.2 inch) screen on which a 3-D map display can be clearly displayed. It has eight speakers, FM radio reception, a CD drive that plays music in MP3, AAC and WMA format, two SD card slots, AUX-IN and USB interfaces and a mobile phone interface via Bluetooth.
ACC measures the distance and speed of vehicles ahead. In columns and traffic jams, the system brakes your Golf in conjunction with the optional DSG dual-clutch gearbox to a standstill and automatically restarts within a short time. The system can keep your vehicle within its limits at a speed of up to 210 km / h.

Depend how big it is the bicycle....probably yes but tight 👍
Hello thanks for this video but when your battery is empty and you on petrol only....how much km or how long do you drive to charge your electric battery to 100%?
Very long ....I never try but i think for very long time ....and the car consumption will be much higher than normal...

Would you consider buying a GTE on second hand ? Did you have any problem with the battery until now ? Is there a warranty for the battery ? Thanks for you review and answer !!!
8 years warranty on the battery or 160.000 km which of the 2 comes first. I also have one. Battery capacity drops in the winter , but it covers my needs.
Second hand it is the best idea if you want to buy a car. No problem with battery, no problem with the car, it work perfect. But now if i have to choice i will go with an full electric or just with an petrol for moment unyil will come more ev cars on market.
Yes you can drive around 35km per charge only ev depend on condition.
Warranty on battery seems to be pretty good but keep it in mind once it does break outside of warranty you will have to pay about 10-12k for a replacement.

and how is battery life around in GTE that has 150,000-200,000km. Interested in getting GTE 7, but I'm scared about battery problems in that kind of big mileage. How many km have you done in this GTE and how is battery life right now? Can you do around 30km on battery, after using this car everyday more than 1 year?
After 150.000km battery should be around 90% left. And you can do in summer 30km in good conditions. In winter maybe 25km ...depend on many factors. Battery have 8 years guarantee or 180.000km 👍

Hello Dan, thanks for the video, I have a question. You've said when the battery is empty and car switched to petrol mode, it starts to charge battery and consume more petrol. Does it mean you cannot turn of petrol charging and leave battery empty to charge it at home from el.network later to maximize petrol saving?
No, you can't, the battery will charge every time the car will brake or when he go down on road. The problem it is that the battery it is heavy and you have to carry it until you get at an charging point. All cars when they are more heavy they consume more. Better all electric then hybrid. has the radius of the full electric mode went down since you've bought the car? I believe they promised 50km, how much km can you get with full battery?
You can get just around 30km depend how you drive , but an full electric car with 500km range is much better then an hybrid. All battery lost range over time.👍👌

It only charges when your in b mode and you can’t be thrapping the car on motorway you’ll get full charge driving 2hr

Nice review. i would like to ask if its worth buying a 2015 used gte . is the 1.4 tsi good? i mean i heard it got many problems and i would like to keep the car for a while
Thanks for feedback 👍. As long as I had the car was amazing and I had no problem with it. Now depend on many factors and luck 🙂. I should say it is a super car and I think it is good even for 2021. It is nice and modern with many new tech and features. Better then this will be only an full electric car 👍

My tdi 1.6 in town drive only its more than 8 L. On open road its 5,6 L.

Yes Ashuri you can drive only in EV mode around 35km and it is pretty economic. 👍🙂

If you drive in hybrid mode, how many kms/miles can you make till the battery runs out?
Jonna in hybrid mode you can drive until the gas run out ....around 900km. In hybrid mode the battery will charge from the engine and will never run out....

One thing I dont like is the electric plugin.
One other thing is driving in curves, im always afraid to fuck the car off.
Use the GTE mode when possible, so that u save battery.
Use hybrid or full electric only in cities.

I put the battery on hold most of time use it as a normal petrol car then I use electric in city,but I do 40 miles a day just to work
