I just pulled my Great Grandfathers 1954 dodge C-1 out of a tree row that had sat for about the same time. He bought it new when the moved so he could haul lumber to build a house on some land they bought. This gives me hope I can do it. Thank you!

These are magnificent trucks! I grew up with a 59 2 ton that was a grain truck that was the same color as this one. It was always parked inside, only driven during harvest, and only had 19K miles on it when we sold it in 1991. Even the original upholstery was still pristine. I miss that truck.... Seeing this brings back fond memories of those beautiful trucks. I hope this one will get restored. Thanks for the wonderful content!

I've been subscribed to back before you changed the name. I really like watching you save these classics. I Loved this video! It so reminded me of my Dads old 49-50 Chevy pickup that my uncle wedged between two trees up here in Massachusetts, back in the early 1960's. My dad just got done working on it when my uncle, my dad's sisters husband, came over. I was about five years old and he said to dad..."mind if I take a ride through your woods? Dad didn't answer and off uncle Russ went into my parents woods. 20 minutes or so later he comes walking out of the woods. What happened said dad. "I got her stuck" is all he said . There the truck sat. We used it as a playhouse. Pretending to drive. I remember sitting in the steering wheel and rocking back and forth. I used the hood as a toboggan one winter. Vandals broke the windows, Stole parts. The land was sold off in the eighties because taxes doubled. And dads Chevy was buried under tons of dirt,. It now rests as we speak, several feet underground, below a housing development. I'm 65 now and wished I could have pulled that truck out of the woods and fixed it for dad. Dads gone some 20 years now. This video brought a tear to my eye thinking back to that day in 64.Thank you.
